I'm developing social app using react-native.
There, I have one problm during developing.
I used react-native-material-dropdown module for making dropdown.
I want to show images and text on each element on dropdown.
But react-native-material-dropdown module doesn't support this feature.
How can I solve this problem?
Please help me.
Try using the renderBase prop, see this and this issues that could help you :)
Being new to react-native, I am trying to style my input fields using react-native-elements to look similar to their example ones (Example).
Even after going through the source code for the example I still can't seem to figure out where I would start when it comes to customizing these fields to that extent.
As a heads up for anyone else looking to do the same thing, I ended up using this library to make nicer looking animated input fields. It isn't quite the same as what I had originally planned, but if you're in the same scenario as I was, I definitely recommend taking a look.
I'm using the native DatePickerAndroid for editing a date field in my react-native app.
I would like to know if there is any support for adding a 'clear' button to the native date picker that will close the datepicker and return an empty date - in order to be able to clear the date in the input field.
I've attached a screenshot of the native android date picker opened from a regular <input/> with type date in chrome. As you can see there is a 'clear' button - exactly what I'm looking for!
Actually this question was previously answered by ufxmeng, but his answer was lately deleted (I don't know why...).
His solution was to create a custom AndroidDatePicker module, mostly copied from the original DatePicker Module created by React Native, with slight changes for adding a CLEAR button.
He put together a github repo holding all files that need to be added/changed to accomplish this. Basically the changes you'll need are here and here.
But note that the original CLEAR button added in that repo doesn't fully match the needs pointed out in my question (see this issue).
So I've changed some of the code to make it work the way I expected. You could see the changes I made in this pull request
It works great for me!
In case anyone else needs this, I forked the original repo of ufxmeng and added Clear button functionality for TimePicker as well:

I simply took dojo gantt chart example and put it in my code, and now this fiddle, and theres nothing rendered, without any errors. Did I miss something out? It appears onLoad does not run, in my Chrome Console network tab, theres no 404's tho, and it looks like every thing downloaded fine?
UPDATE
I think the problem here is with the require GanttChart. If I comment that out, at least I get into the onLoad
There seems to be an issue with the Gantt in Dojo 1.7.2 . When I switch to v 1.7.1 it works fine (for my implementation, and on your fiddle too).
i am using Google Fusion Tables and Google Maps to display geographical data (e.g. markers). My map needs to have a legend, for example by inserting a div on top of the map and the layer. As i am not used to work with API of any kind, i got stuck with this legend problem.
I tried several example codes (most of them provided by google), but none worked for me. I guess that the problem of displaying divs on a map has got something to do with either the styling of the map canvas, the div implementation within the body of the html document or with the framework used (google appengine). But this is just guessing. As i am not a professional with coding, i maybe missed a important point. Maybe the folks here can help me out?
Every hint is appreciated. Thanks.
You can have a look at the code and my example [here (deleted)]. There example includes a code which should display a div, but it doesn't. I've taken it from here (Stackoverflow).
The code you're using is v2 of the Maps API. You'll want to use code that works with v3 of the Maps API, since that is the version you're using on your site.
Have you tried the sample code here?
https://developers.google.com/fusiontables/docs/samples/legend
Copy and paste the legend code from this example into your initialize method, remove the old legend code. If this doesn't work, let me know.
