html-testrail not capturing failed tests in testcafe - testing

I am using testcafe-reporter-html-testrail plugin with my testcafe project. It's capturing the passed test cases but for failed testcases it's not working. I have not used any custom reporter for testcafe. Please give me some suggestions how to achieve capturing the failed testcases in testrail report?

Unable to integrate Cypress with testlink

Is there any way to integrate Cypress test cases with Testlink?
I think of a situation where when running the test, it created the suite test and the case test and updated the status of the testLink to for example passed (if cypress has run the entire test successfully)
Yes it's possible to integrate Cypress with Testlink Because Testlink has its own API and you would need to write your own plugin to integrate it though.
This is the path to the api: /lib/api/rest/v2 and Here are all the Rest endpoints: https://github.com/TestLinkOpenSourceTRMS/testlink-code/blob/testlink_1_9/lib/api/rest/v2/tlRestApi.class.php
then do a GET on http://localhost:3000/lib/api/rest/v2/whoAmI Good Luck

When i run a test in protractor instead of opening the given link in browser it gives error(please check image)

So when i execute a simple calculator program from VS- Studio and when the browser opens ...everytime it is same(plz refer image) tried lot but everytime same error. I followed lot of tutorial for protractor automation tool..no progress
You are running integration tests using karma
I am sure you are using ng test
Which will run integration test. I mean the spec file inside your component will be run using karma
Use ng e2e to run protractor tests.

Can we execute/trigger selenium automation scripts through UFT

Using Webdriver, I have automated web based Application in eclipse and using QTP, I have automated Power Builder application(like desktop App).
Now both become depended module for me, from PB data's are flowing to web base application.
so, how can I achieve this. please someone provide me how to proceed with situation and give me some strategy to proceed
We have exactly the same situation where powerbuilder application is integrating with the web application, below is the solution we have followed
We are using jenkins for executions, but this can be done without jenkins also.
We have one jenkins job which executes a UFT test first and then executes the selenium test if UFT test is successfull.
At the end of test execution UFT test will generate a file with the information required by selenium test and then jenkins will trigger selenium test, selenium test will read this file to gather any required information.
Results are interpreted in the following way
If UFT test fails then jenkins will not trigger the selenium test. If the whole jenkins job is executed successfully then integration is working, if the UFT part failed then Powerbuilder is having issue and if selenium part failed then web application is having issue.

Customized Reports for Protractor test

I am newbie from Selenium to Protractor. I am extensively using well customized reports such as Extent and ATU reports.
But in protractor i don't find anything apart from basic XML and jasmine2HTML. Is there anyone aware of any third party such as Extent/ATU in selenium for protractor?
If you are using Jasmine as your Protractor driver then you can create a custom reporter that does whatever you want.

How to integrate TestRail with Jenkins?

I am trying to integrate TestRail with Jenkins where I want to run some test cases from test rail which calls the test cases in jenkins, and then writes the result back to TestRail itself, or something similar to this.
I know there is an API for this, but so far I am not able to figure out how to go ahead with this API.
Any suggestions would be of great help.
There is a Jenkins plugin maintained by the Jenkins team at GitHub:
Integrate test results from Jenkins into TestRail. Upload your junit
test results to TestRail after every run.
The plugin only allows to populate TestRail with the test results, but maybe you can start from there.
I too am attempting to integrate TestRail with our Jenkins installation. This blog post is pretty good: https://qxf2.com/blog/reporting-to-testrail-using-python/
You will need a way to map each Jenkins test to the appropriate TestRail test-case id, Ex: C123.
After the Jenkins run, reconcile the test results with the mapping and POST to the TestRail API with the test_run_id, test-case id, and the test result status_id as defined in TestRail.
