Java JUnit JVM_EnqueueOperation() stubbed

I get this error while trying to run a JUnit Test on eclipse Oxygen Using Ibm's jdk8.
Is there any known bug in this version of jdk? How can I fix/avoid it?
Seems like the unit test uses PowerMock, which does not currently support IBM JDK.
PowerMock tries to load an agent via HotSpot Attach Mechanism, but it should use J9 attach mechanism instead.
See the following issues for details:
https://github.com/eclipse/openj9/issues/3441
https://github.com/powermock/powermock/issues/970
Worked by adding the Mocking-Library path as VM Argument to the JRE as already stated by apangin.
To do that:
Window→ Preferences → Java → Installed JREs: select JDK, edit it and add the following to Default VM Arguments:
-javaagent:<YOUR_M2_REPO_PATH>/org/jmockit/jmockit/1.9/jmockit-1.9.jar

IntelliJ IDEA seems to not fully switch to the new jdk

I am stuck with the following problem regarding Intellij IDEA.
I had installed the following java version:
java version "1.7.0_51"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_51-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 24.51-b03, mixed mode, sharing)
on my Win7 PC and using Intellij IDEA v14.1.3.
After some time, I have upgraded my jdk and now I have installed the following:
java version "1.7.0_71"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_71-b14)
Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM (build 24.71-b01, mixed mode, sharing)
I have consequently changed all the references to point to the new jdk in system variables and in Intellij in Project structure ...
Everything seemed to work fine (when I run a program from Intellij I see that the command java is invoked from the right path).
The problem is that for some reasons, when I open the integrated terminal in Intellij and write java -version the result is the old version (1.7.0_51).
I realized this because of some issues of the old version of java I face when I run my unit tests that should have been resolved in the new version.
Have anybody any idea how to solve this?
Thank you in advance!
I would not only update the java version, but completely delete it from the machine. Obviously, you have not removed all the references to the old java, as your problem statements describes.
Maybe the Java Uninstall tool might be helpful for this? Then make a clean new installation.

Installing Glassfish tools in eclipse luna

Im trying to install Glassfish tools in eclise Luna but I keep getting this error message:
Cannot complete the install because one or more required items could not be found.

What should I do? Thanks.
It looks like they somehow messed up the plugin dependencies while packaging the plugin version which is currently referenced by the .
To fix it you have to install an slightly older version of the Glassfish Tools manually. To do this in Eclipse click on Help -> Install new software and put the following URL in the upper input field:
http://download.oracle.com/otn_software/oepe/12.1.3.1/luna/repository
Then click enter, after it has fetched the installable packages, choose the Glassfish Tools package and the Oracle Java EE Tools package (both should be version 7.2.0.xxx) and install. The installation can take a while because the oracle repository site is often slow.

IBM Worklight Failing to start

Configuration: Eclipse (Juno) 4.2.2
IBM Worklight version: 6.2.0.01
Java version:
java version "1.7.0_71"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_71-b14)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.71-b01, mixed mode)
JDK: jdk1.7.0_71.jdk
Java Compiler: 1.7
My worklight studio was previously working and suddenly stops working after I had to force quit my eclipse. Even after reinstallation of the plugins, the error still recurs.
Here's a screenshot of the initial error log before 'Worklight server failed to start' and 'Failed to deploy application in the worklight server'. Any help to fix this issue will be deeply appreciated. Worklight studio issues like this is starting to get frustrating.
I uninstalled java from my mac. Reinstalled Java (JDK & JRE), new Eclipse (Juno 4.2.2) -> Then installed IBM Worklight Studio plugin. Figured it was the problem with Java as it was throwing the java exception 'unable to read the manifest'. Probably there was some issue after updating to Yosemite.
I had the same problem. You need to set correct IP for Worklight server. It doesn't work with "localhost" or "*".
It looks Java EE got corrupted somehow,
So as suggested the best approach would be to use a fresh Eclipse instance with a new plug-in installation and a new workspace as well. This way it makes sure everything is fresh and new.

How do i configure WebLogic 8.1 to use a specific JRE / JDK on my development machiine

How do i configure WebLogic 8.1 to use a specific JRE / JDK on my development machine. I realized that it is using hot spot and i would like to change it to run on JRockit.
You need to change the JAVA_VENDOR setting in the setDomainEnv.sh/.cmd file (depending whether you are running a Linux or Windows box).
Adding/changing the following lines to the start of your setDomainEnv file should work:
set JAVA_VENDOR=BEA
set BEA_JAVA_HOME=(path to your jrockit installation, e.g. c:\BEA\jrockit)
Now you should start the server. You can monitor, in the console (stdout), the indication about which Java version is being used:
starting weblogic with Java version:
java version "1.6.0_05"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.6.0_05-b13)
BEA JRockit(R) (build R27.6.0-50_o-100423-1.6.0_05-20080626-2105-windows-ia32, compiled mode)
It is also possible to do it during the configuration wizard, when you are adding a domain, under the Java SDK Selections tab.
