When I make changes to Javascript files in Eclipse the changes are not reflected in the Worklight simulator. I'm using cordova to build to different environments, and everything was working fine yesterday. I've tried stopping and starting the server, rebuilding the project, starting eclipse in -clean mode and a few other standard things and no changes I make at this point will reflect in the simulator. It's as if it's using an old build, but I checked and the buildfile is correct. How can I get my changes to reflect in the simulator again?

Worklight 6.2 - Jul 11, 2014

Normally, IBM supports each products for 5 years.
So, go for the latest, which is better. More reliable and more features.
Hope this help.
You can try renaming your project, build and name it back to the original and run. This gives good results in some cases.
I ended up solving the problem by setting up a new workspace.

I need to deploy an application to Worklight 6.2, but the latest IDE i have only targets for MobileFirst 7.1. I am trying to manually edit the meta/dployment.data file(pasted below). I updated the platform.version to 6.2 manually. Can someone help me with:
If someone can share a sample .wlapp archive targetted for WL 6.2, specifically iOSNative app with authentication disabled.
Or if someone can help me plug the right values into below file. Mainly this value "app.authenticity.obscuredata=23.507-9.852-31.807"
This is the content of XYZ.wlapp/meta/deployment.data file
#Deployment data.

This is not possible, as explained in your previous question.
If you need the Studio for 6.2, then do not install Studio from Eclipse marketplace, as from there you get only the latest studio - 7.1. The latest is simply not backwards compatible, nor can it be as the product has changed significantly. You also cannot take a 7.1 project and open it in Studio 6.2 and expect it to work... or start altering it.
You need to create a new 6.2 project using Studio 6.2, and copy your implementation into it.
Please go to IBM Fix Central, download Studio for your build level (6.2), and install it manually into your Eclipse. And use that.
Only 6.2 studio will produce 6.2 server compatible projects, applications, adapters and any other artifacts.
I have a small query generally. I'm working on the studio July 2015 release with 3.5.1 runTime for my client Project. However I'm willing to install AnyPoint June 2015 with runtime 3.7 release for my POC purpose. Does it conflict each by any chance (or override while installing). I don't want to override or update July 2015( It should not be disturbed in any ways) with new since my project running on it.
If I want to install the June 2015 what all the step need to take care? or don't require any? . Please advice.
There should be no problem installing several versions of Anypoint Studio as there is no problem in installing several versions of Eclipse on the same machine. Just install the different versions in different directories.
You should also be able to use the same workspace across versions, with potential weird effects if incompatible features are used in projects opened with the two versions (which is not what you'll do, so you should be fine).
I'm trying to run a windows 8 sample app on Visual studio 2012 express edition for windows 8.
I used web installer for VS and using windows 8 release preview build 8400.
I get this message even the app build is sucessful:
Error : DEP0800 : The required framework "F:\Program Files\Microsoft SDKs\Windows\v8.0\ExtensionSDKs\Microsoft.WinJS.1.0\1.0\Microsoft.WinJS.1.0.appx" failed to install.
Windows cannot install package Microsoft.WinJS.1.0 because this package requires a higher Windows version. The package requested Windows version 6.2 with AppModel version 1, while the current Windows version is 6.2 with AppModel version 0. App4
Any help?
The Visual Studio 2012 released version (downloads here) will work only with the RTM version of Windows 8, which is generally available on Oct. 26th, but a 90-day trial is available now.
The Windows 8 Release Preview is only compatible with Visual Studio 2012 RC, which I thought would be available until Windows 8 GA, but the link I had for it appears to now be broken. You might be able to find a cached copy somewhere.
I have been playing around with Windows 8 Developer Preview and Visual Studio 11 Express, but I am facing an issue that is a bit annoying. Every 1 or 2 days, I get the following error when I open Visual Studio: "could not obtain license due to error 80090317"
This issue is mentioned here and here, but in both cases it is said that the issue shows up when Windows 8 is installed as an upgrade to Windows 7, which is not my scenario. I did a clean install in an new partition and installed all the updates available. The workaround I have found so far is to put the date of my system a few months in the past, run Visual Studio and acquire a license, then put the current date back. This works for a while until the message shows up again.
Has someone faced this issue?
Has someone a more permanent workaround for this?
A bit more details on my current setup:
Do not use the Developer Preview.
