All:
I wonder what returns when I click the 'X' on a wxDialog after I call Dialog->ShowModal()?
For example:
wxDialog* Dialog = wxDialog(NULL,wxID_ANY,title,wxDefaultPosition,wxSize(310,170));
Dialog->ShowModal();
If I click the X button on the title bar, what should it return?
What if I call method like EndModal() ?
Thanks.
If you click the close button, you will get wxID_CANCEL
EndModal() returns whatever value you pass to it. http://docs.wxwidgets.org/trunk/classwx_dialog.html#a89b6085b05b63e98001311fafcfb21f0

I have a v-combobox component in my app. I have it to where I can type something in the input then #blur a check happens to see if the typed Item exists in the list or not. If it does not exist a modal opens up asking the user if they want to add it to the list.
I have it if the user clicks yes it is added to the list the problem I am having is if they click cancel and the dialog is closed focus should go back to the combobx input
When I try and set the focus I get the blue animation bar but no input cursor in the input of the combo box
I have set up a codesandbox example of my issue
CodeSandbox Example of Issue
I was wondering If i could get some help or pointers on why Im not getting the full focus to be able to type after clicking cancel on the dialog .
You can try to use $nextTick like this:
closeConfirmationDialog() {
// const comboBox = this.$refs[this.forInput];
// comboBox.$el.querySelector("input").focus();
this.showDialog = false;
this.cancelDialog = true;
this.$nextTick(() => {
this.$refs.categories.focus();
});
}
I used map markers with parameter, First the marker and popup works fine.
And when I change the parameter, markers refreshed ok but, popup with data shows nothing.
I tried to solve, but nothing works. Kindly asking help
Marker Click function test JS:
function f(){
alert(this.dashboard.getParameterValue("status") +" you have clicked on");
//Dashboards.fireChange('status', e.vars.category.value);
}
Then you have to change the param values, check the alert box.
In the marker click function you have to write the alert function first.
I have one button named "Add" in my web portal. On clicking on that button a progress bar appears and the name of the button gets changed to "Adding" from "Add" and remains "Adding" until the progress bar is not moved to 100%. After the progress bar is 100% complete, again the text of Add button changes back to "Add" from "Adding".
I need to assert whether the name of the button is changing from "Add" to "Adding" or not during the progress bar movement. But the problem is once I click on the "Add" button, then use the assertion, selenium will first click on "Add" button, completes the progress bar to 100% and then tries to assertion, but now already the text of "Add" button is already changed back to "Add" from "Adding".
Please give the solution. Thanks in advance.
You can find the element, click and immediately return it's text which can be used later for Assert
public string Test()
{
IWebElement element = Driver.FindElement(By.CssSelector("Something"));
element.Click();
return element.Text;
}
Assert.IsTrue(Test().Contains("Adding"));
Note: C# code
I've binded the same function to all elements that I want(let's say View and Label).
In this onClick handler function I want to get the element which was clicked and increase its 'top' by 1.
Please tell me if you know how to do that, I can't find an answer yet.
My global click handler function:
function increaseElementTop(e) {
// Here we should increase element's top position.
Ti.API.info(JSON.stringify(e));
}
Thanks, any help is appreciated.
Get the e.source attribute from the Event e. Then use the setTop() method.
if (e.source == $.yourLabel) {
$.yourLabel.setTop($.yourLabel.getTop() + 1)
}
UPDATE: Regarding your comment: I thought it would only be used for two elements. A universal approach would be something like this:
e.source.setTop(e.source.getTop() + 1);
Unfortunately I have no machine available to test the code but I will do so later (Tuesday I guess). Just try it and let your programm print the e.source variable. If this does not work you can also try to use e.source.getId().
function increaseElementTop(e) {
var theUIElement = e.source;
theUIElement.top = theUIElement.top + 1;
}
Add the event listener to each of your UIElements, and this will get the element you click on & modify the top.
Div ID: ct100_cphRoblox_CommentsPane_BlueCommentBtn
Class: BlueCommentBtn
Please help, I just need to invoke a press on the button.
Assuming you want to run something attached to its onclick handler you can;
Dim id As String = "ct100_cphRoblox_CommentsPane_BlueCommentBtn"
WebBrowser1.Document.GetElementById(id).InvokeMember("click")
(Similarly .InvokeMember("onmousedown") et. al)
