I have nokialumia510,
is it possible to upgrade it to wp8, so that i need to test my app which i have developed in wp8 sdk.
Thanks.

It's not possible to upgrade any Windows Phone to Windows Phone 8. Your Lumia 510 only can be upgraded to Windows Phone 7.8.
WP8 is a new platform not related with old Windows Phone 7. If you want to test your app you must buy a new devide with WP8 installed.

I have developed app and i want test my app on real devices.
is there any tool to do both manual and automation testing for my app?
Dear Your requirement is not too clear for me But manually you have to use install app on multiple devices and test it, There are different websites which provide mobiles online to test application some are free and some have premium accounts
pCloudy
bitbar
Experitest etc..
For automation you have to use tools like:
Appium for Android and IOS
Robotium for Android
MonkeyTalk
Selendroid for Android

I'd like to run Raspbian in a virtual machine on Windows 8. It is built for the ARM processor on a Raspberry Pi.
Is this possible?
Here is a tutorial on how to run Raspberry Pi under windows using QEMU:

I would like the great majority of my site to be on a linux server, but I would like a small section of my site to be able to host silverlight apps.
Is it possible to have two servers, one linux and the other windows under the same domain?
You might want to consider hosting your Silverlight on Linux too - you can do it.
Run Silverlight with Apache Server (Under linux)

I just upgraded my host machine from windows 7 to windows 8. I was running an OSX VM under VirtualBox for iOS dev. Since the upgrade I can no longer run my OSX VM. I get the error VT-x not available (VERR_VMX_NO_VMX).
I checked the bios setting and hardware virtualization is still on. Which would only make sense since the only thing that changed was the OS.

I have just purchased LG Thrive handset for android apps development purpose. I tried installing "LGMS690" and "LG _USB _Drivers_All_4.9.7" usb device drivers on my windows 7 PC, but my device is not getting detected in eclipse android plugin. I am unable to run/debug my applications on this device.
Please help me with what steps should I follow to get my device ready for running/debugging apps..
Go here: http://www.lgforum.com/resources and download the Android drivers for Phoenix (basically the same phone) or use this direct link: http://s3.amazonaws.com/lgforum.com/resources/assets/680/original/LGAndroidDriver_Ver_1.0_All.zip?1304452545
I haven't tried it with the SDKs yet, but it worked for sideloading the Amazon appstore...
