I cant make it change from the old size of 520px

There is a option in the App Settings to change too.
https://developers.facebook.com/apps
Edit settings of your app and check under the Page Option and then select Wide.
Facebook is setting max width as per the option.
Tho I imagine the default changes for (new) apps come the end of March

Our company is addressing gaps in accessibility on the Native side of our app. We get a general diagnostic indicating lack of zooming on text on the Native app. The ticket looks like this:
1.4.4 Resize text: Except for captions and images of text, text can be resized without assistive technology up to 200 percent without loss of content or functionality. (Level AA)
Zooming and scaling should not be disabled.(meta[name="viewport"]).Fix the following: user-scalable on <meta> tag disables zooming on mobile devices
We use react-native-web which allows for both web and native in one codebase. Looking at the top HTML file, I don't see anything indicating user-scalable is disabled.
In order to be able to use pinch gesture to zoom in on text, do I need to go through every text component and add a prop to enable this? Don't want to use a jack hammer for a nail but we might have to if this is what's required. I would think it would be automatic.
Your ticket seems to come from an automatic test, by axe-core : https://dequeuniversity.com/rules/axe/4.4/meta-viewport
Unlike what your ticket said, it's not a WCAG 1.4.4 failure but an accessibility best practice for the web.
If you don't have user-scalable in your HTML file, maybe the automatic test did not run correctly ?
Anyway, to manually check if your mobile app is WCAG 1.4.4 compliant, you have to increase the font size to 200% in the accessibility settings of your phone.
You absolutely do NOT need to go through every text component.
The error is accurate. You have disabled some resizing capabilities in your meta tags.
Just check the head of your document for a meta tag with the attribute name="viewport". You will probably find it has an attribute of content set to either "width=device-width, user-scalable=no" or "width=device-width, user-scalable=0". Reset the content attribute to "width=device-width, initial-scale=1". You should be all set.
I've added some video app previews for my app on App Store Connect and when I set the video poster frame, it never saves the image that I want, it always reverts back to the one that Apple defaults to initially. Does anyone know a work around?
UPDATE: I did get in contact with App Store Connect and they told me it's a recent bug that they're actively working on fixing. I'm going to touch base with them early next week.
Issue is still happening. But if you want to be able to upload without problems try this:
Upload the screenshots of one complete language
Don't touch anything for 2-4 min once pictures are uploaded.
Then you can refresh the webpage and check if the screenshots are well uploaded.
My team released an Android app and asked for a smart banner directing users from our website to the app and specific content; to complete this task, we are using branch.io.
According to this guide, I inserted the JavaScript snippet with the branch key found in the settings section of the dashboard and the SDK is correctly initialized.
In the dashboard we defined the styling of the banner and on which sites and devices it should appear. But the banner looks like this (on desktop):
No icon or text are set. Apparently when I use the preview link generated by branch.io it is displayed correctly.
Moreover when I initialize the banner via JavaScript and set the properties it is displayed correctly too:
branch.banner(Banner.options, Banner.data);
const deeplink = `${window.location.pathname}${window.location.search}${window.location.hash}`;
branch.setBranchViewData({
'$deeplink_path': deeplink
});
Somehow nothing from the dashboard is adopted.
Thank you for your help!
Alex from Branch.io here: the branch.banner() function and the banner you set up on the dashboard are actually separate things. The dashboard option replaced the banner() approach, which has been deprecated.
You'll want to review the full details in the set up guide. One important note is that the dashboard version does not yet support banners on desktop, as we found almost none of our partners were using that function.
Try smartbanner.js. Has a lot of custom options and behaviour at very low footprint (~ 13 KB). Takes a few meta tags to set up.
Since days I am trying to change my app state from beta to release so that everyone can get it.
I also figured out that I cant change other things (prince, release automatcially...)
Do I need to add a new app? Cant I change this informations by a new revision?
I am sure I am just to stupid but I am at the point to create a new app in the app center just to change this information.
It is not possible to change an app from being a beta version to being in the public store. You must resubmit the app for it to be visible in the store and change other settings (such as price).
There is a uservoice request for this functionality that you can vote on at http://wpdev.uservoice.com/forums/110705-dev-platform/suggestions/4548415-allow-beta-to-release
I am experiencing a problem similar to 2 others who have recently written about this issue.
A newly created Page Tab Facebook app displays for admin users but not for regular users.
I only have 8 page tabs currently so it cannot be that there are too many.
Also, sandbox mode is disabled ( have tried both enabled and disabled).
Can anyone think of a reason that this might be occurring?
I added the tab with the code:
http://www.facebook.com/dialog/pagetab?app_id=YOUR_APP_ID&next=YOUR_URL
Could it have something to do with https in the url as opposed to http?
I am at a loss and do not know how to go about solving this issue.
Any ideas, however far-out they may be,would be aprreciated.
Thank you to anyone who might think they can help...
Have you forgotten to take the app out of Sandbox Mode? (try toggling it just in case, even if it's not in sandbox mode, as this is by far the most likely explanation here)
Also, check there aren't demographic restrictions set on the app or page via the API, as in this case only the users that meet the restrictions will see the tab. (though the admins will always see it)
Also check that you've configured the Page Tab URL and Secure Page Tab URL settings for the app correctly, as if a user uses HTTPS and the App doesn't support it they won't see the tab
If the tab isn't appearing at all it's almost certainly one of those two problems ,if it's displaying but the content isn't rendering, also check your code and make sure it's not fataling on checking the signed_request for non-admins or something like that
