Is there a version of NeoJSON that works in Pharo 1.1? If so, how do I access this version? Is there a better place or way to ask this question, other than StackOverflow?
NeoJSON is newer than Pharo 1.1, so there probably is no version designated for it. What happens if you just try loading the newest version? The pharo users mailing list is the right place for this kind of question. If it does not load, it is easiest to load the latest version in the latest Pharo, and make a version that can load in Pharo 1.1 there
I'm using maven, but I dont understand the difference between following dependencies:
1.)
http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.cxf/cxf-bundle/3.0.0-milestone2
2.)
http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.cxf/cxf-bundle-compatible/3.0.3
Option 2 seems newer, but can I use it?
At the moment I use "http://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache.cxf/cxf-bundle/2.7.14", but I want to upgrade to V. 3.x.x
I haven't found any informations about the cxf-bundle/3.0.0-milestone2 yet, but perhaps someone knows, whre to find more informations about this one.
The big monolithic bundle was removed in 3.0. Use the individual bundles that you need for your application.
I'm starting a new project that'll require Mono and mod_mono to run under CentOS. There are two versions of Mono: the release which is 2.10.8, and the development branch, which is 3.0.7 as of today.
I'm wondering what would be the right version to start. Obviously the stable version would be my choice, but I'm not sure what Mono 3.0 adds that could be missing from 2.10. Note that the project will be ASP.NET 4.0, using MVC4.
What version would be recommended? The stable but older one (dates back from 19-Dec-2011!) or the more recent one?
Mono 2.10 supports ASP.NET MVC3, since you want to use MVC4, you'll have to use a later version.
More recent versions of Mono have solved a lot of issues in 2.10, including issues related to ASP.NET.
So you may want to go for a more recent version. I don't think stability will be an issue,
but you will have to perform proper tests to determine if the version you are using supports everything you are trying to do in your application.
Don't deploy to production without testing.
UPDATE: Correction, there is 'partial' MVC4 support in 2.10 and no support for async.
So while you might be able to use 2.10, your mileage may vary depending on what features your app uses
I have been trying to install glashfish 2.x into netbeans 7.0.1 for three days now. Needless to say, I have tried many, many things. Presently I am here: According to Netbeans.org, glassfish 2.x should be in the list of available plugins. But it's not there.
Will anyone please share their success with me? I am using mac os x.
Thanks
Tell me about it. Been fighting this off and on now for a week. Keep having to go back to 7.0.0 prior to adding the 'fixes' to plugins. Utterly frustrating!
Did you guys check what you had in your netbeans update center ? I have heard people mentioning that they had URLs for 6.9 and plugins (such as GF2.0) will not show up until you modify that URL for 7.0
I've been looking over the internet and can't seem to find where I can download v3.1 of nhibernate.caches.syscache that works with NHibernate 3.1.0.4000.
I have version 3.0.0.4000 of the syscache, but is there a newer version?
The official place is here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/nhcontrib/files/NHibernate.Caches/
don't know however if your cache is officially mantained in that place, have a look.
