What is the proper way of scanning files uploaded by a user using an api - api

we are a small team of devs currently working on a website which hosts some awards for its' participants. The user is able to create and account, log in and then fill up a form, part of filling the form is to upload some pdf files, we are looking for a solution which will scan files before we save it on our server.
I tried contacting virustotal but, they basically told me that what I am looking for doesn't work with their api.
I am simply looking for any reputable company that has an api which we can use to perform the scanning.
*We have no issues with paying
Anyone went through similar problem, please share, service, company etc..
Thank you

Is there a way to get a list of all Dropbox Share Folders with their members?

I've reached out to Dropbox on this and they advised that there isn't a way to do it through their platform, they suggested using other tools like GitHub, Zapier, and the like.
I have admin access to Dropbox and I have little to no experience coding, I've seen a few API's that could help me with what I'm trying to accomplish.
Is there an App or service I can use along with the Dropbox API to fetch all Share folders and their members? We are talking about 300+ folders so entering all the info manually won't be ideal since this task is time sensitive.
Thank you for any input or advise you guys can give me on this

Can shopify do this? (what is best platform?)

My clients need to send me a file that we will edit and send back to them (ideally through a client page). Is Shopify a good platform for this kind of business? I know it is well suited for digital goods but I haven't seen anything that would allow uploading a custom file to an order during fulfillment.
EDIT
ok for file uploads that was easy enough to find, but how to provide a link to a different file for each client that bought the same product? After the file has been edited ideally we would put the file somewhere (dropbox?) and have a link available on the client account page and in a fulfillment confirmation email.
the only thing I have found so far would be through metafields and custom fields added to each order. Its a bit annoying to have to use chrome plugin to show the custom fields on the order dashboard. It would be nice if a customfield would be added automatically to each order. Then a link to the file in dropbox could be added to the order using an ipad and the clients would have instant access.
Why the two down votes? I have searched a long time and the only workaround I can find is hardly satisfactory. I'm open to suggestions.
You can definitely let your customers upload files when they buy from your Shopify store. Check out this tutorial for more information on how to set this up with line item properties: https://help.shopify.com/themes/customization/products/get-customization-information-for-products#allow-file-uploads

Need somewhere to post form responses

I am trying to work out where to put the responses to a GravityForm that I have hosted on WordPress. GravityForms displays them as entry/detail which is not a good way to see how many of x people there are etc.
I need an excel-esqe grid that can be edited by multiple users, so I was thinking Google docs, but I would rather keep the data on my server.
My end users are not particularly IT literate so the front end needs to be quite user friendly.
Is there any solution that I can host on my server and post data in to? I was playing with the idea of writing the form responses to a separate WordPress table but I need a very easy way to edit them.
I'd be grateful to hear any feedback or ideas you have
Manual data copy
EtherCalc is good. The problem is how to get the data in and out of the spreadsheet,
if a manual export and import will work, then you can use EtherCalc.
EtherCalc is a google docs style spreadsheet, edited by multiple users.
You can host it on your own server.
Pay a developer to automate
As above, but pay a developer to automate the movement of data. Would take a few days of work.
Google docs form
I saw a google docs forms plugin that does this already. Maybe you saw that already.
EtherCalc forms feature.
I will add a forms feature to EtherCalc over xmas.

List emails of clients accounts on Google Apps

You will have to excuse my confusion here...
Basically, we have clients with hosted accounts and I need to somehow get a list of emails per domain name.
Say, test.com is a Google hosted account and that it uses Google's email service for admin#test.com, and several more, how can I find (programmaticaly) this complete list of emails?
I've looked around for a while and it only brought more confusion. I think my question relates to this Google API document.
While I'm usually armed with at least one line of code, I'm really clueless on this issue. Perhaps someone out there might shed light on this issue.
PS: I also tried Google API Explorer, but it didn't help at all.
You should use Google Apps Reporting API and get the Accounts report. Of-course, OAuth is recommended auth approach.
http://code.google.com/googleapps/domain/reporting/google_apps_reporting_api.html#Accounts_Report
Provisioning API can also perform the same task and with a real time list of users:
http://code.google.com/googleapps/domain/provisioning_API_v2_developers_guide.html#Retrieving_Users_in_a_Domain
But, its going to be slower for bigger domains since its a paginated feed. Reporting API on the other downloads a CSV file.

How to make a Tag cloud app that post on a website?

I want to make an app where the users can post messages that will be displayed on a website. The users would need to create a username and password to be able to post.
The app would be like a twitter, but only be able to post through the app and read the last few posts and not be able to write private messages.
The website would function like a huge cloud of thoughts where everyone could go and read what others have written. Once the post hit the cloud, they can't be deleted. Only me could delete posts.
All posts would have different color and font size, it would look like a huge tag cloud on the website.
How do I make an app and a website like this?
David H
The tutorial application for Google Application Engine is an unstyled version of what you describe. They'll even host it for you for free (up to a non-trivial level of usage).
The tag cloud creation is not so very hard but without knowing your preferred language it is hard to point you to helpful libraries (there are plenty out there).
Getting people to use it will be the hard part.

Good luck on your endeavor. I would be surprised if you weren't able to learn everything you need to know and have a working web app by the time school starts. I found a simple stand alone web cloud creation library that explains what it does and will run on GAE. So now even that part is in place for you.
I'm tempted to make some pathetic reference to the sorts of computing that I did prior to high school, but I expect that you probably have SD data cards have more computational power than I had available to me. Kids these days! ;)
