Detox build failed - ':react-native-inappbrowser-reborn:mergeDebugAndroidTestJavaResource' - react-native

I have a problem with building tests in detox. It shows me this error:
What went wrong:

A failure occurred while executing com.android.build.gradle.internal.tasks.MergeJavaResWorkAction

I've tried almost everything I found on the forums:

etc...
I got this error after adding: implementation(platform("org.jetbrains.kotlin:kotlin-bom:1.8.0")) - > in app/build.gradle
I had to add this line because the whole application was not building. After adding this line, the problem discussed above started to appear in detox
Thank you very much for your help

Error: ENOENT: no such file or directory, open '/app/turtle/workingdir/android/sdk38/android-shell-app/app/src/main/res/drawable/splashscreen.xml'
The strange thing is that yesterday I managed to finish the build, but today I have this error, and I did not make any changes to SplashScreen or anything like that.
Thanks to anyone who can help me.
Now the build finished without the error.
It was probably their mistake that was corrected at this point.
Thank you all :)

“Page Not Found” when navigating to site created with Gridsome & deployed on Netlify

I've created a new site using Gridsome deployed with Netlify, but I can't get the site to appear when accessed. Instead, Netlify says:
Page Not Found
Looks like you've followed a broken link or entered a URL that doesn't exist on this site.
< Back to our site
I tried updating my build settings based on the instructions of the creator of the Gridsome starter template I'm using, but the site still doesn't display. I've also updated the js-yaml version.
I've gone through the questions/answers for similar questions on here, but I haven't been able to figure this out. I'm new to web development, and I'm sure I'm missing one or more things contributing to the issue.
My GitHub repo for this site.
The site.
I have the build log from Netlify. There are some errors in it. I don't want to put too much here, so here's a part from the end of the log.
12:18:36 PM: failed during stage 'building site': Build script returned non-zero exit code: 1
12:18:36 PM: Error running command: Build script returned non-zero exit code: 1
12:18:36 PM: Failing build: Failed to build site
12:18:36 PM: Finished processing build request in 55.729813394s
A Gist for the whole build log.
Thanks so much for your help, #talves!
I was having trouble using the build commands because of being new to cli stuff and a permissions issue. I asked a friend about the build errors I was getting from Netlify, and he recommended I try removing and re-installing my node modules. Did that, still didn't work. I tried removing anything in the repo having to do with "journal" since Failed to render /journal kept appearing in the build log, but that didn't work either.
I googled ReferenceError: _objectSpread is not defined after update since that was in the build log after the journal error. I found a comment on an issue noting the same error message in the main Babel GitHub repo that suggested adding the following to the package.json file:
"resolutions": {
"#babel/core": "^7.5.4"
}
I added it, tried to build again, and it still failed but only gave me one error message it didn't show before—Error: SyntaxError: Unexpected string in JSON at position. I googled that message and got another issue on GitHub. A comment on the issue noted a missing comma.
I went back to my package.json file and found that I didn't add a comma to the bracket above the new "resolutions" snippet. I added the comma, tried to build again, and it worked 🤜💥✨ !
Sorry if this is long-winded! I thought it might be good to include my process on figuring this out in case others run into the same issues.

library not found for -lReact

I'm getting this error in all my app builds now and I can't seem to figure it out.
I am using the .xcworkspace file
I had to rename the app. Used: react-native-app-id ...
This morning I was able to build/run on emulator. I tried to setup xcode to run on an actual device and now the universe hates me.
I can't even react-native start and react-native run-ios without getting these errors:
ld: warning: directory not found for option '-L/Users/gmike/Projects/promiscue/tribeoffive/TribeOfFive/ios/build/Build/Products/Debug-iphonesimulator/React'
ld: library not found for -lReact

I've checked out a bunch of other stackoverflow articles.
I think this is telling:
Thoughts on how to un-mess up my env?
The error goes away when you remove libReact.a from the Xcode file tree (for me, it was under the Frameworks folder).
I also removed other files (they all had a transparent/white overlay on them which probably mean they were missing, actually couldn't open them in the finder neither)
Ok let's resolve this:
What to look for:
Here's a list of all the sub projects (or their products) that will cause XCode to throw that error when building a react-native project w/ cocoapods:
[
RCTActionSheet,
ART,
RCTBlob,
RCTCameraRoll,
RCTGeolocation,
RCTImage,
RCTLinking,
RCTAnimation,
RCTNetwork,
RCTPushNotification,
RCTTest,
RCTSettings,
RCTText,
RCTVibration,
RCTWebSocket,
]
Where to look for those weird project names:
First of all you'll look in the actual error message.
Here's a typical library not found error
Notice the ... /libART.a part?
That fellow is causing that error on my end.
In your case it can be any of the strings in the array above.
Found the troublemaker, what to do now?
Step 1: Remove the troublemaker project.
Let's try the lucky shot first:
Open the Project Navigator, and check if you can see the linked project that corresponds to the troublemaker string. In my case it was an XCode project called ART.
If you find it there, just remove it's reference, and you should be fine.
If that didn't work:
Open {Project Target} > Build Phases > Link binary with libraries and check wether you can see the troublemaker string in there. (It could be something like libArt.a depending on what's causing the issue on your end)
If that worked, forget the next step, otherwise move on:
Step 2: Delete the derived data directory, clean and rebuild
In my case (as seen in the raw error above) the derived data directory was /Users/sudoplz/Library/Developer/Xcode/DerivedData/MySuperApp-haxjchilyksewvdfcnnxwrulvyvy/Build/Products/Debug-iphonesimulator/
find yours in the error log, and delete it.
You can then clean XCode, shut it down, launch it again, and re-build.
Hopefully that should either fix the issue, or help you move on with fixing other stuff that may have gone wrong.
That's all folks.
Try to add that file to the libraries by finding libReact.a from the project, then clean and run Xcode.
or
Try to add libReact.a to your project "Build Phases" > Link binary with libraries, then clean and run Xcode.

An error was encountered processing the command (domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain, code=2)

I'm getting such error, while building IOS app in React Native project:
was encountered processing the command (domain=NSPOSIXErrorDomain,
code=2) Print: Entry, ":CFBundleIdentifier", Does Not Exist
I read threads in GitHub regarding that issues, however didn't find solutions there which could solve my problem. Any ideas how to fix it?
The cause might be that you have some build files from the previous build which are causing the problem.
Clear the ios/build/your_project to trigger a fresh build
In my case the Xcode build folder needed to be cleaned. To fix, in Xcode go to Product | Clean Build Folder
In my case, the cause was - The build file name was MyMob.app but the app it tries to install to the simulator was mymob.app.
I solved it by changing the line in mymob.xcscheme:46

I solved the problem by running the build using the gradle task :app:assembleDebug
in the exception above, calabash can't find the package name, because it is on another dex class.
I think in calabash, they may be having problem with multidex projects, and Android Studio will always enable multidex to your app, even if it doesn't need it.
I am not an expert, any suggestion are welcome, and I hope some people can benefit from this answer.
