To use Place type other than supported place type in Google map place api

I am working on Google map places API and I am new to this. I created a sample project where I am able to retrieve latitudes and longitudes of nearby restaurants. But now I want to retrieve tattoo shops near by. But "tattoo shops" are not the supported type in google places API. Can some one tell me how to do that. I couldnot find any way of doing it.
Simply use keyword=tattoo+shops rather than type=restaurant in your request.
(I'm assuming you're using Nearby Search in the Google Places API Web Service.)

Vine API - User Data based on Anchor

Twitter API, they have since_id. Instagram API, they have min_id. I am trying to see if anyone knows how to use "anchors" in the Vine API to achieve the same effect of only pull new user data based off another post ID as a reference point. I have searched and searched, and the few folks who have tried to document the Vine API, didn't have the parameter information.

Getting map locations from custom google maps

It's a general question for any programming language that can use google maps api...
Is there a way i can get specific locations provided by web sites that use google maps with their own location marks or location info.
For example yellow pages will offer locations that you won't get if you search for it simply from the official google maps web site.
What if also this website doesn't provide API to parse data from?
For further example , a web site may have a map having all locations of restaurants in Canada for instance so i want to get the same information in this map to import it in my map inside my application.
The sites you are referring to have the address and geocode information in their own database. They send you the data in response to your request and render it on the map in your browser using the client-side script API that google map provides.
If that's the case and the site didn't provide a public data service, then no, you can't get those data using the normal way.

Modify google maps api

Is it possible to add more functions for google map by using Google map API?
For example, I would like to add more indicators including stairs, elevators and etc in Google Map, is it possible?
Besides, I would like to add one more function, let's say create a new route without stairs based on the Google Map API, will it work?
It depends on what you mean.
If you are using Google Maps in your own website/application you can add custom markers/overlay based on your own data. (see: https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/overlays). You can add markers/overlays for pretty much anything you can think of.
If you mean add it to the usual maps.google.com site, then no you can't as far as I'm aware.
You can't change the API as Google control that, but you can use the API on your site however you like.

Facepile with graph api

I want to display the list of the user's friends who made an Open Graph action, like cooking. I can do this with Facepile, but how can I do this with the Graph API in order to control how it's displayed?
I can't find the corresponding Graph API call. Is there a simple way in order to avoid multiple Graph API calls?
Facebook should make api for that, but there is not way currently. I asked the technical support in facebook.com for that. They have a plan to implemente in FQL, but not yet.
So, facepile is only way until now. Check http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/facepile/ and check other type of codes like javascript SDK or iframe.
