I am using vuejs-datepicker in my application inside a form. https://www.npmjs.com/package/vuejs-datepicker
My form structure looks something like this
<form #submit.prevent="submitForm">
<div v-show="claimRelatedTo === 'Sales Team'" class="form-group">
<label for="incentiveTypeSelect" class="col-form-label required">Incentive Type</label>
<div class="imported input-styling width75" id="incentiveTypeSelect">
<multi-select
v-model="newClaimForm"
placeholder="Select Incentive Type"
:options="list"
:multiple="false"
>
<span slot="noResult">No results found</span>
</multi-select>
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group width75">
<label for="clientSelect" class="col-form-label required">Client</label>
<div class="imported input-styling width75" id="clientSelect">
<multi-select
#select="change"
#remove="deselect"
v-model="selectedClient"
placeholder="Select client"
:options="allClients"
>
<span slot="noResult">No results found</span>
</multi-select>
</div>
<p class="error" v-if="newClaimFormError.clientId">
This field is required
</p>
</div>
<div v-if="newClaimForm.selectedContract !== ''" class="form-group mt-4 width-50 position-relative">
<label for class="col-form-label required">Effective Date</label>
<i class="icon-calendar3 calender-icon" />
<date-picker
id="date"
placeholder="Select Effective Date"
wrapper-class="width75"
input-class="date-picker__input"
:value="effectiveDate"
#selected="formatDate"
#input="changeDateFormat"
v-model="effectiveDate"
ref="datepicker"
>
</date-picker>
<p
class="error"
v-if="newClaimFormError.effectiveDate"
>This field is required</p>
</div>
</div>
<div v-show="claimRelatedTo === 'Sales Team'" class="form-group">
<label for="saleTeamLeaderSelect" class="col-form-label required">Sales Team Leader</label>
<div class="imported input-styling width75" id="saleTeamLeaderSelect">
<multi-select
v-model="newClaimForm.selectedLeader"
placeholder="Select sales team leader"
:options="teamLeaderList"
:multiple="false"
:show-labels="false"
/>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</form>
I need the functionality like when I use tab keys to navigate over the datepicker field the calendar popup should open like it works on click of field. And when the popup opens I should be able to access the calendar dates years with tab key also.
Is there any way to do it?

I am trying to resize the input field with Bulma. However, the input field stretches out across the entire screen width. Instead, I would like to center the user input with a width of say a quarter screen width.
Whatever size I enter in a div class, doesn't do anything, ie
<div class="is-size-3" >
or,
<input
class="input is-small"
size="5"
type="text"
v-model="enteredTask"
placeholder="name"
/>
Would appreciate any advice.
This is what I have:
Thanks
<template>
<section>
<form >
<div class="is-size-3" >
<div class="has-text-centered">
<h1 class="title is-3">User registration</h1>
<form class="box">
<div class="field">
<label class="label">Username</label>
<div class="control">
<input
class="input is-small"
size="5"
type="text"
v-model="enteredTask"
placeholder="name"
/>
<!-- #keyup.enter="enterUser" -->
</div>
</div>
<button class="button is-primary" #click="enterUser">OK</button>
<p v-if="enteredTask.length > 10">input is too long.</p>
</form>
</div>
</div>
</form>

Use the column system of bulma: https://bulma.io/documentation/columns/basics/
You could do something like this:
<div class="columns">
<div class="column is-4 is-offset-4">
<div class="field">
<div class="control">
<input class="input" type="text" />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Whenever I open the component, the previous information that I've typed still remains in the Input Boxes. I have three input box. One is not inside a form tag and the other two are inside a form tag. How do we clear the Input Boxes when I open the component? I tried using this.form.reset(); but it does not work.
<!-- left column -->
<div class="col">
<div class="form-group">
<label>Scan Item</label>
<input type="search" class="form-control is-warning" id="exampleSearchItemBarcode" placeholder="Item Barcode"
#keyup.enter="searchloanItem"
v-model="itemvmodel"
autocomplete="off">
</div>
</div>
</div>
<!-- right column -->
<div class="col">
<div class="card-body">

<has-error :form="form" field="patron_id"></has-error>
</div>

<label>Date Loaned</label>
<div class="input-group">
<div class="input-group-prepend">
<span class="input-group-text"><i class="fas fa-calendar-alt"></i></span>
</div>
<input v-model="form.dateloaned" type="date" name="dateloaned" class="form-control" :class="{ 'is-invalid': form.errors.has('dateloaned') }"
data-inputmask-alias="datetime" data-inputmask-inputformat="dd/mm/yyyy" data-mask="" im-insert="false">

I'm new to bootstrap and have a problem placing two input fields next to each other. I've searched on the internet (and bootstrap.com), but couldn't find the anser.
Code:
Result. But I need the input fields and button next to each other in one row:
I tried using columns... didn't work
You can follow : Display two fields side by side in a Bootstrap Form
<div class="input-group">
<input type="text" class="form-control" placeholder="Start"/>
<span class="input-group-addon">-</span>
<input type="text" class="form-control" placeholder="End"/>
You can try below code
<div class="container content">
<div class='row'>
<form role="form" class="form-horizontal" method="post">
<div class='col-xs-12 col-sm-4'>
<div class="form-group">
<input class="form-control" name="" placeholder="Search from this date">
</div>
</div>
<div class='col-xs-12 col-sm-4'>
<div class="form-group">
<input class="form-control" name="" placeholder="Search till this date">
</div>
</div>
<div class='col-xs-12'>
<div class="form-group">
<button class="btn btn-primary">Search</button>
</div>
</div>
<div class='col-xs-12'>
<div class="form-group">
Back
</div>
</div>
</form>
</div>
</div>
I'm attempting to render, side by side, form elements within a bootstrap modal dialog. Reason for this is that they're for all intents and purposes the same options, just representing options for different items and the current way it renders for users is basically:
<table>
<tr>
<td><!--Option Group 1--></td>
<td><!--Option Group 2--></td>
<td><!--Option Group 3--></td>
</tr>
</table>
So using the modal dialog example in the Bootstrap 3 documentation combined with the form-horizontal exampl in the Bootstrap 3 documentation plus some use of span to attempt to do a 50% width for each (and hopefully left-to-right tiling of the sections), I came out with:
<div class="modal fade" id="addModal" tabindex="-1" role="dialog" aria-labelledby="addLabel" aria-hidden="true">
<div class="modal-dialog modal-lg">
<div class="modal-content">
<div class="modal-header">
<button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true">×</button>
<h4 class="modal-title" id="addLabel">Title of Dialog</h4>
</div>
<form class="form-horizontal" role="form">
<div class="modal-body">
<div class="row">
<div class="span6">
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputUser" class="col-sm-1 control-label">User</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="text" class="form-control" id="inputUser" value="" disabled="disabled">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputPassword3" class="col-sm-1 control-label">Password</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="password" class="form-control" id="inputPassword3" placeholder="Password">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<div class="col-sm-offset-1 col-sm-5">
<div class="checkbox">
<label>
<input type="checkbox"> Remember me
</label>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="span6">
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputUser" class="col-sm-1 control-label">User</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="email" class="form-control" id="inputUser" value="" disabled="disabled">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputPassword3" class="col-sm-1 control-label">Password</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="password" class="form-control" id="inputPassword3" placeholder="Password">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<div class="col-sm-offset-1 col-sm-5">
<div class="checkbox">
<label>
<input type="checkbox"> Remember me
</label>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="modal-footer">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-default" data-dismiss="modal">Cancel</button>
<button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary">Add Request</button>
</div>
</form>

The problem is that somewhere along the way, it is forcing each item to go new line so I have two "forms" that are 50% of the parent width (intentional) that are rendered vertically (not intentional). How can I make the two render side by side?
<div class="span6">
should be
<div class="col-sm-6">
2 times.
http://jsfiddle.net/isherwood/3zeMh/4
It needs a little further cleanup, but that's the primary issue. Here's one possible refinement: http://jsfiddle.net/isherwood/3zeMh/6
I'd probably make the labels wider and keep everything block for mobile, though.
I wish to have labels right-aligned next to its input box (with a space in between). However, labels are still left-aligned. According to Boostrap3 documentation and this question, the form-horizontal class should be used, but still result is not right.
The django template code below does generate fields in a two-column fashion, but with left-aligned labels:
<form class="form-horizontal" role="form">
<div class="form-group">
<div class="col-md-3 col-md-offset-1 input-md">
{{ form.code|bootstrap_horizontal }}
</div>
<div class="col-md-3 col-md-offset-2 input-md">
{{ form.name|bootstrap_horizontal }}
</div>
<div class="col-md-3 col-md-offset-1 input-md">
{{ form.company|bootstrap_horizontal }}
</div>
</div>
<div class="btn-group btn-group-lg">
<button class="btn" type="submit">Crear Marca</button>
</div>
</form>
I guess I'm missing something. Thanks in advance for your help.
EDITED:
Output HTML in jsfiddle.
Image of actual output included as well in this link. As you can see, Code & Company are left-aligned.
I think your text is right-aligned but the effect is not visible due to the nesting of your grid classes.
Try something like:
<form class="form-horizontal container" role="form">
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputEmail1" class="col-sm-2 control-label">Code</label>
<div class="col-sm-4">
<input type="email" class="form-control" id="inputEmail1" placeholder="Email">
</div>
<label for="inputPassword1" class="col-sm-2 control-label">Name</label>
<div class="col-sm-4">
<input type="password" class="form-control" id="inputPassword1" placeholder="Password">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputEmail1" class="col-sm-2 control-label">Company</label>
<div class="col-sm-4">
<input type="email" class="form-control" id="inputEmail1" placeholder="Email">
</div>
</div>
<div class="btn-group btn-group-lg">
<button class="btn" type="submit">Crear Marca</button>
</div>
</form>
When you nest your grid classes (col--) a child get a percentage of the width of its parent. When you nest a col-lg-6 in a col-lg-6 its with will be 25% of the viewport 50% of 50%.
In the case you want to input next to each other with a float left (your col-- classes add this float) they can't be in different input-groups. The .from-group has a clearfix which undo the float left. So try something like:
<div class="col-sm-6">
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputEmail1" class="col-sm-4 control-label">Company</label>
<div class="col-sm-8">
<input type="email" class="form-control" id="inputEmail1" placeholder="Email">
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="col-sm-6">
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputEmail1" class="col-sm-4 control-label">Company 2</label>
<div class="col-sm-8">
<input type="email" class="form-control" id="inputEmail1" placeholder="Email">
</div>
</div>
</div>
