How do I create SQL connection to my app and Upload it to google cloud

Thanks for getting back at me. Sorry for the late reply, it was bed-time this time. I need to connect the Cloud SQL database that I have created to my application that is in App Engine. I tried to follow the online tutorials but when I do apply such info I would get then gcloud app deploy it return a connection error. Please help. Also clarify here: When I execute the gcloud app deploy command I suppose it takes my local file to Google Cloud where I would see the entire folder and files of my project on the project I was deploying but I am seeing the old version of my project while presentation has changed to the latest version. Also last one how can I link domain nam from http://domain.google.com to my app in http://cloud.google.com . Please help I am dying with stress I have been trying in here
Given that you haven't provided any information as to what settings you are using, or what error has been provided it is impossible to know what kind of problem you are running into.
I suggest taking a look at the "Connecting to App Engine" page here. It should answer a lot of your questions around connecting from an App Engine app.
I see two questions here.
1.
I need to connect the Cloud SQL database that I have created to my
application that is in App Engine. I tried to follow the online
tutorials but when I do apply such info I would get then gcloud app
deploy it return a connection error. Please help. Also clarify here:
When I execute the gcloud app deploy command I suppose it takes my

files of my project on the project I was deploying but I am seeing the

version.
I see your problem here to be with CloudSQL and GAE connectivity. Depending on whether you use GAE Standard or Flex and CloudSQL MySQL or POSTGRES the steps varies. Documentation is quite clear in here though.
2.
Also last one how can I link domain nam from http://domain.google.com
to my app in http://cloud.google.com . Please help I am dying with
stress I have been trying in here
This is going to be super simple, goto GCP cloud console, Navigate to GAE-->Settings-->Custom Domain and click on add custom domain "Enter the domain name you want to link" When you click continue you will be shown the steps for verifying the domain owneship and to point the DNS to the GAE.
Documented properly by GCP folks at https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/standard/python/mapping-custom-domains
If you are using GAE Standard or Flex, a possible result of command gcloud app deploy :
An app.yaml (or appengine-web.xml) file is required to deploy this directory as an App Engine App, check next links:
https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/flexible/python/configuring-your-app-with-app-yaml
https://cloud.google.com/appengine/docs/flexible/python/writing-application-logs
Mysql and Postgres connection:

https://cloud.google.com/sql/docs/postgres/connect-app-engine
Sometimes it easy share the app.yaml for replicate the app correctly.

Rails 4 images in public folder are not loading on Apache development

I am new to rails. I am working on a sample application for social networking. I have managed to upload the profile picture of users manually (By copying the image uploaded to /tmp/image to the public folder- public/images/tmp/image) and saved the path to db as avatar_url.
In the profile view I used
<%= image_tag(#userinfo.avatar_url, :alt=>"Avatar image")%>
and getting the picture when running on the rails server.
But after that I have deployed the app in apache with passenger in the development environment by setting RailsEnv development. After that the images are not loading. I tried to go to myip:80/public/images/tmp/image, and it gives Routing Error.
After searching on the web, I found that adding config.serve_static_assets = true in production.rb will solve the problem in production. But no use for me because it also stated that the static files will serve in development by default. For confirming the problem again, I started the rails server and opened localhost:3000/profile, image is there and not getting the image in myip:80/profile.
So do I need to add any other config. Or am I not supposed to do that in this way.
Finally, I got the solution for my problem. Just sharing here.
The problem was actually because of permission issues. The picture will be created in a root temp directory on the form submission. Then I copied the image form the temp folder to the public folder. Hence it has only read permissions. After I deployed it, the image gets returns 403 forbidden error.
I used,
FileUtils.chmod 775, target
to set the permission. After that it worked well.
The option config.serve_static_assets = true tells rails to serve the static assets for your application, but that job should really be left to Apache.
Your issue sounds more related to your Apache configuration than rails.
I would take a look at a tutorial on how to configure Apache and Passenger to make sure your environment is setup correctly.
Anything in the public folder should be served by the web server. However myip:80/public/images/tmp/image is not a valid path. You would need to also have a filename at the end with an extension.

Orange HRM is not getting Logged

I have installed OrangeHRM 3.1.2 in live server and accessing through a domain name.
Issue I am facing is - When I am trying to loggin to the following link "http://example.com/hrm/symfony/web/index.php/auth/login" - With valid credentials. I was not logged in or neither I am not displayed with any exceptional Message, but I was able to see the URL as follows - "http://example.com/hrm/symfony/web/index.php/pim/viewMyDetails" which means I have logged in but the screen have not changed and I am still seeing the Login screen.
The Orange HRM is hosted in Godaddy Linux hosting.
I am using Windows 7.
I have checked this scenario in cross browser as well.
When I tried after few or many mins, I was able to login without any issues. As I am facing this issues frequently. I am unable to track My Staffs login and logout time exactly.
As I am not a developer, I am not sure what was the issue. Can someone please help me solving the same and just let me know if you need any more information.
Appreciate your valuable response.
Thanks,
Karthi
Please check your php session save path. Make sure it is writable by the webserver you are running , either apache or nginx or php-fpm. I had the same issue and i was able to solve giving proper permissions to the session save path directory.

Image available on server but failed to load the given URL

I have a scenario that the image is available on the server on the said path
the whole system is running on apache with https (ssl installed and configured properly)
In my application when i generate the path and assign the same to the output (Html) it dose not show the image. Infact it says like the resource could not be loaded. But the same code works on local and many other server but on this 1 server.
Secondly if i do a view source on the same, copy the url and open the same url in browser - it opens up properly - without any issue / trouble but cannot find the same into the out generated by the app..
Any clue as why such thing should be happening??
Sorry my mistake - i realized those were tagged under folder ads and were blocked by ad block plus. Got the resolution :)

Setting up Amazon S3 for custom URLs

I just recently started to use the S3 service from Amazon Web Services. I have no problem settings up buckets so that I can store files in them and link to them from my website, but the thing I am trying to do is make it so it looks like I am hosting the files off of my own website.
What I have done is created 3 buckets:
css.mydomain.com
images.mydomain.com
js.mydomain.com
I then went over to my web hosting account and logged into cpanel. I clicked on Advanced DNS Zone Editor and put in the following information: http://gyazo.com/71fe0d3996df69021bd7f097436cca63
It has been over 4 hours now and stil when I go to for example http://css.mydomain.com/, I get a message indicating that the browser couldn't find the page.
How can I resolve this?
If you have all user read permission on the files then I suggest you to do following things one by one...
- Only for confirmation - did you enable s3 website ?
1. Check s3 file- are you able to access direct link - http://css.mydomain.com.s3.amazonaws.com/defaulultpage.html
2. Check s3 website- are you able to access direct link - http://css.mydomain.com.s3-website-us-east-1.amazonaws.com
Let us know the result...
