React navigation v6 version is in use.
My stack is currently nested. The problem is that only the first stack has a lower line of the header and the child stack has no lower line of the header.
And the funny thing is, in the ios simulator, the sub-stack also has a line under the header, but it's not visible on the actual device device.

The picture below is a picture of a real device. There is no line under the header.

When screen height changes (In the case of my project because a custom bottom tab is removed for certain screens), the Stack Navigator height does not update to occupy the entire screen anymore for some reason.
The same scenario works just fine on Android and on the Web for some reason, on iOS, when a view that was occupying some portion of the screen is removed after the stack screen was already being rendered, the Stack does not change its height.
Please take a look at this minimal expo snack example that demonstrates the issue and compare going to the 2nd screen on iOS emulator versus going to the 2nd screen on Android for example.

Adding a key={currentScreenName} to Stack.Navigator fixes the issue but that is not really a viable solution since it will cause a re-render and the screen will flicker when transitioning between the pages.
I know that using a bottom tab this way is not really ideal but I was wondering if someone might have any good suggestions as to how this can be addressed.

I am doing stack navigation in React Native. It works fine, but the problem is that I want to do the navigation like the fragment navigation in Android.
In the image from link given below, the red highlighted part only gets navigated when I click the arrow button in green highlighted part(The green highlighted part is a navigation header).

If i understand your question correctly... you want to make a fragment in RN. In react native, it called modal and there is many packages providing this. One of this good packages is react-native-modalbox.

I'm trying to preview the app after making changes to the built in extensions. When i try to preview the app it tries to build the preview but ends up doing nothing and and brings back the same original screen. I'm not getting an error message at all. What could be the issue?
Here's a great tutorial on how to modify extensions. why I think it's not working for you is because you didn't change the starting screen inside of the navigation. The previous screen that you use is from original extension. You need to click on the three dots in the upper right corner to delete the Screen.

Once you've deleted screen, add your screen from Custom category.

Is there any way to build custom camera component in codename one?
I googled and got about PeerComponents, however don't know how to use it.
I just would like to use it as Label component with 2 buttons (Taking picture button and retaking picture button)

I need this because of following reason.
First of all, I need square Image taken by camera, and user should be able to know how the picture will be taken.
2 resolutions here:
First, if I have to use full screen camera, it will be better to draw or overlay square rectangle on camera view so that user can know which area will be taken.
Second, if overlaying and drawing is difficult (or should use native code for that), I need some custom components for camera area such like PeerComponent. So I would like to place it anywhere of screen area as square rectangle. Then, users won't need any overlay or drawing something on it because it is already square.
That's all what I need.

Yes, it's certainly possible to create a component like this, and we do intend to create one at some point in the future. You can beat us to the punch.

Although it doesn't include an example with PeerComponent, it is helpful for getting a grasp on the process. Adding peer components into the mix is really just a matter of returning the corresponding "View" type from a native interface. On Android, that is an android.view.View, on iOS it is a UIView, in Javascript it is an DOM element, in UWP it is a FrameworkElement, and in the simulator, it is a javax.swing.JComponent.

I thought that it was not allowed to customize the taskbar on the iPhone. However, I noticed this app called iHandy Tip Calculator which replaces the battery icon with a fast switch icon, that pops up a view as shown. How is this allowed, and if so how can I be doing something different?
If you run the app on an iPad, you'll see, how they do it: they are overlaying the normal status bar. Also note, that the screenshots in the app store don't show this feature. I assume, they were fearing to get rejected and disabled the overlay for the screenshots.
Apps from this developer iHandy incorporate this into the status bar, but I've never seen another company do this. I am surprised that the status bar is able to be modified in this way in any event.

It is possible to create your own statusbar and "simulate" the network status and battery life etc in a 'full-screen' app. But apple doesn't allow it, but this might be one that 'slipped through' just like Gaz_Edge said.
You are correct. You are not suppose to be able to modify the 'springboard'. Apple normally refuse apps that do anything that modifies it. Maybe this one slipped through the net?
I just downloaded the latest version of iHandy Level (version 1.62.0) on an iPhone 5 running iOS 6 but don't see the icon (it's within the app rather than in the status bar). (And the status bar is hidden.)
I was curious to see if they actually hid the status bar and created their own custom status bar. If that was the case, you'd be able to tell because when you swipe down from the top for notification center, it would first show a little tab and then you'd have to swipe again to pull down the menu.
Guessing maybe they removed this functionality at Apple's request.
If anyone still has a version that shows it, please let us know if it shows the tab when you swipe for notification center. If not, they likely found some private api to allow them to replace the battery icon (which would be interesting).
