Running impala service alone in docker

I am trying to install impala in a docker container(using MAPR documentstion). In this docker I am running only Impala service and remaining hive, maprfs services will be running on physical node. When starting impala-server(impala daemon) I am getting wearied errors.I just wanted to know whether this kind of installation is possible or not.
Thanks for Help!!
It is possible, but it depends on your Impala and MapR version. Impala 2.2.0 is supported on MapR 5.x. Impala 2.5.0 is supported on MapR 5.1 and later. Check enter link description here before proceeding.

Apache Hive: How to obtain the runtime metrics of the hive queries executed from the JDBC as well as CLI?

I am trying to get the runtime metrics of hive after executing the hive queries. Are there any API's to obtain these metrics. Please suggest.
The whole intention behind asking this question is to gather metrics for different mapreduce jobs spawned at each stage and the amount of memory and cpu being used for each stage.
Hadoop Distribution: MapR (5.1)
Hive Version: 1.2.0 (Hive Server 2)

Unable to use scan family command on redis

I have installed redis version 2.4.6. The installation is working perfectly for other commands. But when i try to execute any command from scan family (hsscan, sscan etc) it throughs error saying
Unknown command 'sscan'
I will be greatfull if anyone can guide me to get this sorted out.
As clearly documented, SCAN and related commands are available since Redis 2.8.0. Redis 2.4.6 is more than 4 years old and the current version is 3.2.0.

Is it possible to configure hadoop 2.6.0 running mapreduce v1 framework? (classic)

I know hadoop 2.6 cluster can be configured to run 'yarn' or 'local', where 'yarn' is mapreduce v2 and 'local' is just local mode. And I learnt from this thread (What is the difference between classic, local for mapreduce.framework.name in mapred-site.xml?) that it can also be configured to run in 'classic' framework, which is mapreduce v1. But I cannot run any job if I simply change 'mapreduce.framework.name' from 'yarn' (or 'local') to 'classic'. So, is it possible to do that? How can I configure it?
My another thought is, I'm using apache hadoop 2.6 distro, does that come with mapreduce v1 framework? If not, I should not be able to configure the cluster to run v1 framework.
Note, my question is not to run a mapreduce v1 job on hadoop 2.6.0, but configure the cluster in some way, (not 'yarn', not 'local'), running mapreduce v1 framework when got some job.
You can use hadoop 2.6.0 to configure MR1 or MR2. I have not used Apache, but i use CDH distributon of it where i configured my cluster as MRV1.
