Good day to anyone reading this, I wanted to ask if there was any way to target a specific dom element in react native such as this.
Tried to research but there was no clear answer.
This code was done in React.
document.querySelector(
`.node-${row}-${col}`
).className = `eachCell node-${row}-${col} wall`;

I was looking for an answer to my question but couldn't find anything yet. So, is there a way to access event.target in React Native? Or how can I do something similar, I need this because I want to convert my Web App from React in React Native.
There was a way before win ReactNativeComponentTree but that thing was deleted in the newer version of RN.
I'm trying to run end to end tests on an Expo Web project with Playwright. I was hoping that when I added a testId prop to a React Native view it would be converted to a data-testid so I could select the element for my tests.
However, it doesn't do this so I can't figure out a good way to select the elements. So far the best thing I can come up with is to add an accessibility label to the element.
Does anyone know a better way to add test id's to react-native expo projects that'll be tested on the web?
You can do this!
I may have made a casing mistake. You add a testID prop on the react native component and then query for div['data-testid="sampleId"']
Here's a code example: https://github.com/expo/expo/blob/b655ff28d924e2274c627294778a02dbec1268db/apps/bare-expo/e2e/TestSuite-test.web.js#L68
Trying to make a splash screen for my react native app using this guide: https://medium.com/#appstud/add-a-splash-screen-to-a-react-native-app-810492e773f9
Trying to type this code in: Code image
and I'm getting errors. Could someone please explain what the "create:" and "inputs:" mean and why they're grayed out?
Thanks
They are the explanation of the code parts. You put the inputs where it says inputs. Create is the block that you put your code that you want effect to trigger. You can read the documentation about the react hooks so you will have a better grasp before you try to jump into using them; React hooks
I tried to find tree view select in react native, But, I couldn't find any. I also tried to generate my own, but it will take more time to develop and need to fix many things that I can't do right now.
Can anybody provide inputs on which library or component use for tree multi-select inputs?
Thank you in advance.
I am trying to find a Component how to remove my ListItems in my ListView. Actually there is a Module working for iOS react-native-swipeout where you can swipeout the elements. I need the same for Android or atleast something similar.
Maybe someone has figured this out, and could tell me how they solved deleting Items from a ListView in a React Native Android App
The react native team removed their experimental implementation for the SwipeableFlatList component (which uses internally a FlatList instead really really deprecated ListView).
I rescued the original code from v0.59 which they removed on v.60 and its available as a npm module here
And theres a good how-to on medium here
