I want to add a carousel from bootstrap to my page, but it really gets me hard time to set it up on every screen, when it looks good on mobile then on big screen it increases image and cuts sides. I don't already know how many different ways I've tired to make it looks right.
<div class="row container-fluid">
<div id="slide" class="col-12 col-md-6">
<div id="carouselExampleIndicators" class="carousel" data-ride="carousel">
<ol class="carousel-indicators">
<li data-target="#carouselExampleIndicators" data-slide-to="0" class="active"></li>
<li data-target="#carouselExampleIndicators" data-slide-to="1"></li>
<li data-target="#carouselExampleIndicators" data-slide-to="2"></li>
<li data-target="#carouselExampleIndicators" data-slide-to="3"></li>
</ol>
<div class="carousel-inner carousel">
<div class="carousel-item active">
<img src="assets/images-car/cat1.png" class="d-block w-100"
alt="a ginger cat sitting on the stairs">
</div>
<div class="carousel-item">
<img src="assets/images-car/cat2.png" class="d-block w-100"
alt="a black-white kitten on young buddha's hands">
</div>
<div class="carousel-item">
<img src="assets/images-car/cat11.png" class="d-block w-100"
alt="a black cat laying on the colorful fabrics">
</div>
<div class="carousel-item">
<img src="assets/images-car/cat4.png" class="d-block w-100"
alt="a white cat with blue eyes covered in colorful fabric">
</div>
</div>
<a class="carousel-control-prev" href="#carouselExampleIndicators" role="button" data-slide="prev">
<span class="carousel-control-prev-icon" aria-hidden="true"></span>
<span class="sr-only">Previous</span>
</a>
<a class="carousel-control-next" href="#carouselExampleIndicators" role="button" data-slide="next">
<span class="carousel-control-next-icon" aria-hidden="true"></span>
<span class="sr-only">Next</span>
</a>
</div>
</div>
#media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
.carousel {width:75%; height:50vh;}}
I've tried to change display from blok to flex, then I've changed the default bootstrap width on bigger screen to 75% and maybe that wouldn't be a bad result but then I would need to move slides to center of the div but I didn't know how, nothing worked for centering whole carousel. And also when I set up the width for 75% on media screen min-width: 768px, then when I make my windows smaller the carousel gets smaller until the breakpoint for mobile, so I am not sure what media query should I set up for this to look good on every sizes.

First time updating this website and unsure how to activate the carousel... currently it just stays on the first image and won't rotate to the next slide.
I have confirmed the image file names and paths are correct. Any insights or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks!
Had to Screenshot the code because the portion <ol class="carousel-indicators".... disappears when entering in post body on stackflow... weird... maybe an indication that is the problem area?
See Screenshot of Coding Here

is it possible to make Bootstrap 4 Carousel to play ONLY on hover? Like normally it's a still image, but on mousehover it starts to cycle the carousel and on mouseout it pauses.
slider.html
<div id="carousel-example-generic" class="carousel slide carousel-fade slider slideInUp"
data-ride="carousel">
<div class="row">
<div class="col-lg-4 col-md-6 col-sm-12 col-xs-12">

</div>
</div>
script.js
$('#carousel-example-generic').hover(function(){
$("#carousel-example-generic").carousel('cycle');
},function(){
$("#carousel-example-generic").carousel('pause');
});
First disable the default behaviour of the carousel to stop on hover by putting setting the data-pause to false
id="carousel-example-generic" class="carousel slide carousel-fade slider slideInUp" data-pause="false"
Use the following js to manage the hover behaviour
$('.carousel').carousel({
interval: 2000
})
$('.carousel').carousel('pause') ;
$('.carousel').hover(function(){
$('.carousel').carousel('cycle') ;
}) ;
$('.carousel').mouseleave(function(){
$('.carousel').carousel('pause') ;
});
The issue is quality of image at smaller screens i.e 320px 375px 425px gets blur as i mention height in the class.. I am mentioning the height as i want the image to fit screen initially without user needing to scroll down to look for further information
My question here is should i resize the image so that it has quality in it..
Am sharing my code

You do not need to set any height or width to images in Bootstrap carousel if you are using them as img source. You need to add height only if you are using them as a background image. For this, you need to add height to .item class and set the background properties for the same.
this is my 1st page where logo and carousel both are in the top section of the pageI was trying to put a responsive logo over carouser from bootstrap. Logo was over the carousel but it does not shows the responsive behavior. I used the code from www.w3schools.com i think its somewhere in the carousel class in bootstrap.min.css but cant locate it. If someone has work on it plz leave the comment.
html:
<div id="myCarousel" class="carousel slide" data-ride="carousel">
<!-- Indicators -->
<ol class="carousel-indicators">
<li data-target="#myCarousel" data-slide-to="0" class="active"> </li>
<li data-target="#myCarousel" data-slide-to="1" ></li>
<li data-target="#myCarousel" data-slide-to="2"></li>
</ol>
<!-- Wrapper for slides -->
<div class="carousel-inner" role="listbox">
<div class="overlay">
<!--<img src="images/logo.png" class="img-responsive" alt="">-->
</div>
<div class="item active">
<img src="images/1bg.jpg" alt="">
<div class="carousel-caption">
</div>
</div>
<div class="item">
<img src="images/11bg.jpg" alt="">
<div class="carousel-caption">
</div>
</div>
<div class="item">
<img src="images/111bg.jpg" alt="">
<div class="carousel-caption">
</div>
</div>
<!-- Left and right controls -->
<a class="left carousel-control" href="#myCarousel" role="button" data-slide="prev">
<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-chevron-left" aria-hidden="true"></span>
<span class="sr-only">Previous</span>
</a>
<a class="right carousel-control" href="#myCarousel" role="button" data-slide="next">
<span class="glyphicon glyphicon-chevron-right" aria-hidden="true"></span>
<span class="sr-only">Next</span>
</a>
</div>
</div>
</div>
logo is in overlay div.I want logo to be responsive
.overlay {background: url('../images/logo.png') top left no- repeat;position: absolute;top: 30px;
left: 600px;width: 100%;height: 100%;z-index: 10;pointer-events: none;}
Use percentage instead of pixel in overlay class.
For Example:
.overlay {background: url('../images/logo.png') top left no- repeat;position: absolute;top: 3%;left: 50%;width: 100%;height: 100%;z-index: 10;pointer-events: none;}
change top and left percentages value as you need.
Am trying to put one bootstrap carousal (with 4 images at a time scroll)
into a bootstrap tabs. I have tried many examples but am not getting. Am using bootstrap 3.0. Can anybody please give an idea for this? Am unable to see at least one bootstrap 3.0 carousal anywhere
You can just use the standard markup but add four images inside each of your .item slide wrappers.
HTML:
<div class="carousel slide" data-ride="carousel" id="carousel4img">
<!-- Indicators -->
<ol class="carousel-indicators">
<li data-target="#carousel4img" data-slide-to="0" class="active"></li>
<li data-target="#carousel4img" data-slide-to="1"></li>
<li data-target="#carousel4img" data-slide-to="2"></li>
</ol>
<!-- Wrapper for slides -->
<div class="carousel-inner">
<div class="item active">
