Cumulocity File Repository

I am trying to load a csv file in the Cumulocity -> Administration - > Management - > File Repository. My objective is to access the file contents in the HTML widget and show the data in tabular or chart format.
I tried using the fetch() method to use csv file url , but it was not able to fetch the file. The file I believe has been locally stored into the Cumulocity platform now. How can I access the file via fetch().
You are trying to abuse the HTML widget for something it wasn't designed for.
Instead of hacking such logic into the HTML widget you should just extend the Cockpit application with your own widget which is honestly not much more difficult using the WebSDK. https://cumulocity.com/guides/web/introduction/
There is a XSRF protection to prevent exactly what you are currently trying: Bringing in custom javascript code into the live application and trying to access the platform API by "hijacking" the cookies of the logged in user (and you would either need the cookies or hardcode some credentials as you cannot access the API unauthenticated).
If you use the SDK there is even a proper Angular service in order to fetch the file for the API.

Is there a way to create a Dropbox link that opens a file or a folder in the native app?

Basically, what I would like to do is to create a link from a web application that will open a Dropbox file from appropriate Dropbox native app. Google Drive for example allows you to re-format the unique URL for a file such as https://docs.google.com/blablabla which you can retrieve from their API, into googledrive://docs.google.com/blablabla and lets you open the file in Google Drive native app.
I have tried dropbox:// URLs with no success, and have not found any existing conversation on this despite running cross multiple conversations on the same subject for Google Drive or Evernote. Please let me know if it is possible to somehow generate this via API or based on the folder structure etc.
Thanks!

Upload file to Dropbox through VBA

Did anyone know a way to send a file to a Dropbox Account through VBA?
It can be a documentation, a link to an API, anything.
I've tried on google but can't find anything.
You should be able to use the dropbox core api, which is all Http requests. For uploading, see specifically using put and using POST. You can do http requests in VBA. For some reason I'm having a bit of trouble finding an official msdn/windows language reference. But here are some helpful examples:
excel vba http request download data from yahoo finance

http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/office/en-US/ac1c6f10-3d41-4f15-9711-fd78b74f17ad/winhttprequest?forum=exceldev
That should get you started. Just note that dropbox only accepts UTF-8 strings, which isn't usually Windows's specialty. So make sure you're sending strings in the right encoding.

Opening a saved pdf on client

I am exporting crytsal report to pdf format and saving the pdf on azure cloud. This code is written in web api. I am also able to download the pdf on client. Is there any way with which I can open this saved pdf file on client side by either using server side code or using jQuery. I just want to keep the file open for the user to view.
Maybe you can have a link point to the PDF file address with response header "response-content-disposition": "inline; filename=this.pdf", "response-content-type": "application/pdf". Then I think the browser will launch proper PDF plugin to show it.
