I installed selenium 4.4.3 but when I tried to find_elements(By.NAME, "") command it gave an error about the "By" command. I tried to uninstall selenium but even though I uninstall selenium, selenium4.4.3 still runs on my computer. I tried pip, pip3, conda uninstall selenium command on cmd but selenium is still in my computer. I want to uninstall this library and install the selenium 3.14 version. Can anyone help me?
I'm trying to make an autofiller using selenium, but it couldn't be done. so I decided to use undetected chromedriver to finish the automation.
I am having some difficulty here to import the undetected-chromedriver.
I already downloaded it by inputting the command line: pip install undetected-chromedriver
But when I put the import undetected_chromedriver as uc, the complier doesn't recognize it.
Below is the Error message after trying to import undetected-chromedriver:
import undetected_chromedriver as uc
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'undetected_chromedriver'
Use the following command to check if the undetected_chromedriver package is in the list
pip list
or
pip3 list
Try the following
# navigate into the project directory with your python script
cd presearch
# create virtual environment
python3 -m venv venv
# activate the virtual environment
source venv/bin/activate
# install required pip packages
pip3 install undetected-chromedriver
If you have multiple python versions installed, you might check if you actually installed it in the right one.
I am trying to installing selenium with anaconda but failed.I also tried the command " conda install selenium " but it is not working
In order to conda install packages the package must be hosted on anaconda.org. There is no package called simply "selenium" in the default anaconda channel. There is a package in the conda-forge channel however and it can be installed using:
conda install -c conda-forge selenium
Read more about it here: https://anaconda.org/conda-forge/selenium
I can install other packages, but can't install Scrapy. I get the following errors:
warning: build_py: byte-compiling is disabled, skipping.
running build_ext
building 'lxml.etree' extension
error: Microsoft Visual C++ 10.0 is required (Unable to find vcvarsall.bat).
However, C++ is installed, which I installed numerous of times. I have x86 and 64 bit installations (not sure if it's 10.0) but I have 2013-2017 versions installed.
Please upgrade your pip by following command.
python -m pip install --upgrade pip
Then install Scrapy by following command.
pip install Scrapy
download latest twisted package and install with pip.
https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#twisted
after that install scrapy
In my case, I found that pywin32 was not installed...
So I did
download the latest Twisted package from https://www.lfd.uci.edu/~gohlke/pythonlibs/#twisted
You want to use the amd64 if you have Windows 64 (regardless if it's an Intel processor or not)
You can use any browser for the download and copy/paste the file into the project folder of your current pycharm project.
Then in pycharm type this:
pip install Twisted-20.3.0-cp39-cp39-win_amd64.whl
(assuming that your package was Twisted-20.3.0-cp39-cp39-win_amd64.whl)
then proceed with:
pip install Scrapy
I use Ubuntu 16.10. I tried installing Selenium module of python via the command - sudo pip3 install -U selenium. But, I am not able to install it. It is giving an unexpected error. I am sharing the screenshot of the terminal here. Please help!

If you are using Ubuntu, I'd suggest checking in the package manager as it may already be there. I'm on Mint and it was already there when I loaded python (2.7 also).
