Expo EAS build fails on Android after incrementing versionCode - react-native

About 4 days ago I submitted my expo react native app to eas build to compile it to an android standalone app. This build worked. I then tried to upload it to google play. I forgot, however, to increase the versionCode so I incremented it to 21 and let the app build again. This time it failed. Since then I could not get another build to succeed.
I am not sure how I should investigate my problem. The problem occurs during the "run gradlew" phase. Those are the last few lines:
[stderr] FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.1709[stderr] * What went wrong:1710[stderr] Execution failed for task ':expo-modules-core:compileReleaseKotlin'.1711[stderr] > Compilation error. See log for more details1712[stderr] * Try:1713[stderr] Run with --stacktrace option to get the stack trace. Run with --info or --debug option to get more log output. Run with --scan to get full insights.1714[stderr] * Get more help at https://help.gradle.org1715[stderr] BUILD FAILED in 2m 54s1716Error: Gradle build failed with unknown error. See logs for the "Run gradlew" phase for more information.
Can someone explain what went wrong and how I can fix this error. I am certain that other than the versionCode I did not change anything.
Over the past days I tried several things such as
removing unused npm packages that caused some issues during the build
removing and installing expo-camera
decreasing versionCode back to 20
The build still fails for android.
The build succeeds for ios.

Appcenter Android Build for React-Native with Unity

I am working on a React-Native project using Unity (asmadsen/react-native-unity-view). The code is working properly on both Android and iOS and build is also being generated for both the platforms respectively. But now I am trying to make the build through Appcenter for Android doing all the necessary setup process but it's failing all the time. But when I am doing the same for a demo React-Native project, the build is successful on the Appcenter.
The error logs as found on the Appcenter is :
FAILURE: Build failed with an exception.
* Where:
Build file '/Users/runner/work/1/s/android/UnityExport/unityLibrary/build.gradle' line: 66
* What went wrong:
Execution failed for task ':UnityExport:BuildIl2CppTask'.

Can anyone has any idea and help me over the same. Thanks in advance.
It's seem that you haven't valid NDK on your computer, for unity 2018 you must install android-ndk-r16b and for unity 2020 you must install android-ndk-r19.
depend on your OS and unity version download and install valid NDK from NDK.

Can some one please suggest what to do now. I am new to react native.
The new error is with linking resources,
one or more of the packages you added to your project (for example by typing yarn add react-native-splash-screen) is not linked, please when add a new package read the documentation well to see if there is more steps to link it with android or ios.
try npx react-native link to link the packages you added to your project, and the run android build by typing npx react-native run-android, if did not work try resetting the cache, first stop the running node server the type npx react-native start --reset-cache
if the same error still appears you need to see the manual linking steps in the package you added, and I think it is named "splash_screen"

My react native project cannot build after rename project

I tried to rename my app because I need it but I got the problem after rename it (it works fine before I rename it). I followed this instruction : https://dev.to/abdulbasit313/proper-way-to-rename-a-react-native-project-in-2019-3b98 but when I run, build failed
I'm using react native 0.59.9

The mentioned solution is not correct because it'll clear your linked libraries... You can easily rename the android project by changing name in android/src/main/res/values/strings.xml. Also on iOS, you can change the name by opening ios/your_project.xcodeproj in Xcode and modify Display Name in the General tab of your project settings.
Please install and relink the library again. This will resolve the issue.

First of all you should update your node.js
Then run the installation's cammands and for Iranian it's better to use shecan.ir before running build run-android command instead of unworking vpn.
I did these steps and the problem solved.
