I have created a .NET MAUI application with Visual Studio 2022 on Windows and when I do right click on .NET MAUI project in Solution Explorer and navigate to Project Settings, the UI editor tries to initialize and stucks in a screen saying "Loading Properties...". I am waiting for a few minutes and nothing happens. I also tried to reproduce in a new project and I have the same behavior. I also tried in Visual Studio 2022 (Preview) and same behavior here. I have updated both Visual Studio 2022 (Professional & Preview) and I have the same behavior. Any ideas why this happens ?
The only time project settings worked was only I accidently opened the Android manifest file. Then I tried to reproduced it again and nothing happens.

EDIT: Good information provided below to diagnose, but the issue was I was running Visual Studio 2022 17.3. Version 17.4 is required for .NET 7, and I had just installed that. Once I installed the latest version of VS, all my problems went away. Install with Visual Studio
Suddenly today, debugging my ASP.NET Core 6 and 7 apps suddenly has stopped working. I hit F5 to debug, it stops on my breakpoint, but as soon as I continue or step into, I'm shown this dialog:

Well, if your visual studio stop working for debugging all type of application, please check following configuration:
1. Tools > Options > Debugging > .NET/C++ Hot Reload
2. Tools > Options > Projects and Solutions > ASP.NET Core >
Furthermore, If you select the Always rebuild option in the dialog box, you won't see the dialog box again in the current Visual Studio session, and Visual Studio will automatically rebuild and reload instead of showing the dialog box.
Note:
In addition, as you can see above in the first release of Visual Studio (version 17.0) the standard Edit and Continue dialog is still shown when using Hot Reload with the debugger. This was a bug and has been resolved starting with 17.1 Preview 2 release.

After checking above configuration, if your issue still persists and if you are not using Visual Studio (version 17.0) then you still reset your unknown setting in visual studio as following:
Go to Tools > Import and Export Settings.

I just installed Visual Studio 2022 professional, installation went perfectly without failures. However, when I try to create any project I get solution explorer like this ('Webapplication1' (0 project) ) and it doesn't show the normal hierarchy with controller and startup file, etc. How to fix this issue?

I tried to reinstall vs2022, but it doesn't work.
In Visual Studio 2019 *.vbhtml files were working fine in my computer. After upgrading to Visual Studio 2022, C# IntelliSense and highlighting are still working, but in VB IntelliSense and highlighting fully disappear.
Also, any attempt at adding VB templates (Microsoft.VisualStudio.Web.CodeGeneration.Design) became forbidden.
Is there a way to bypass these restrictions and unblock VB in Razor Pages with some tuning of Visual Studio or with some extension for Visual Studio or with some 3rd party product?
Razor Pages are no longer supported in VB.NET after MVC5. As noted, editing and compilation (without IntelliSense) did work under Visual Studio 2019, but that functionality has been removed in Visual Studio 2022.
A working alternative for MVC and Razor Page projects in VB.NET under .NET Core 6 is Vazor, which can be found here.

Yes, have I lost opportunity to use VB in View and VBHTML, but I receive opportunity to split ASP.NET Core project to 2 full different projects.

I've tried with both Visual Studio 2019 (16.11.5) and Visual Studio 2022 (17.0.0 P5), but am unable to get XAML Hot Reload working for WinUI projects (both UWP and Desktop types).
WPF project's are unaffected and XAML Hot Reload continues to work.

I have had the same problem and the only way I have got the designer to work is (and this should work if build 10240 is acceptable for your development):
Open your project
Go under "Project" to "Properties"
Select "Application" on the left and change BOTH the target version and the min version to "Windows 10 (10.0; Build 10240)
Once you do that the XAML designer will start working again. I've had to do this on 4 different workstations and it's worked everytime.
As to why build 10568 doesn't work? Got me, agile development, will be fixed in a patch? :p
I had the same problem and could not change BOTH versions to Build 10240 as the Application listbox only showed 10586 in Properties/Application. I thought I could arrange that by editing the .csproj file, which is XML after all, but any change there makes all files in the Solution Explorer immediately unavailable. Then I noticed (running Winver.exe) that my W10 still shows build 10240 despite regularly (but not automatically) running Windows updates. Despite multiple solutions tried, this didn't change. I finally used the MediaCreation Tool to download a new Windows 10 on a USB stick and reinstalled Windows 10, preserving apps and data. And now I am really on 10586 ...and the Design mode shows again when I open my project.
