This is my current IDE right panel... as you can see JPA Palette is missing.
I'm running IntelliJ in a Kubuntu 22.04
After some research on this question https://stackoverflow.com/questions/71974527/jpa-buddy-missing-from-tool-window-in-intellij#:~:text=To%20see%20the%20JPA%20Buddy,is%20correct%20and%20reimport%20dependencies and some insights in the JPA BUDDY discord I've finally get the issue: It was running in minimalistic mode.
You can disable it following the documentation at its home page:
https://www.jpa-buddy.com/documentation/minimalistic-mode/#enabling-minimalistic-mode
I think you need the install the JPA Buddy plugin to see something in the right panel. Maven JPA dependencies are not enough.
Go to Preferences->Plugins and install JPA Buddy from the marketplace. Restart IntelliJ.

WSO2 MSF4J to improve the size adds their own jaxrs-delegate which strips quite a bit of functionality from JAX-RS standard such as UriBuilder or BadRequestException
I've noted a few of the limitations of WSO2's MSF4J implementation https://github.com/wso2/msf4j/issues/290#issuecomment-329673266
So what I tried to do was see if I can replace the WSO2 jaxrs-delegate with Jersey instead. I excluded it from the core and tried to put in the jersey and jackson dependencies, but in the end it didn't work out.
I was wondering if this is even duable.
TL;DR
Set the BOMs (note don't use the latest versions as of the time of this writing)
<dependencyManagement>

<artifactId>jersey-bom</artifactId>

<type>pom</type>

</dependencies>
</dependencyManagement>
Add the dependencies
<dependency>

I checked the code , none of the places I we are referring below package but still i get below exception :
org.apache.chemistry.opencmis.client.bindings.cache -- Cannot be resolved
let me know if you can throw some lights on it.
As you mentioned Karaf I assume you are developing OSGi.
Then you should use the OpenCMIS OSGi Client Wrapper:
<dependency>
<groupId>org.apache.chemistry.opencmis</groupId>
<artifactId>chemistry-opencmis-osgi-client</artifactId>
<version>1.1.0</version>
</dependency>
A lot of packages here also are optional like CFX. So it will resolve much easier.
Edit: And you get the SessionService via DS and can extend the Client with your own Cache, AuthenticationProvider etc via separate bundles.
I'm running into this exception while trying to unmarshall an input stream of XML data. This is apparently a problem with the Xerces library, but I'm having a hard time figuring out a solution to this. I'm running a Java EE program with EclipseLink on a Glassfish Server with Java 8. This error occurs in my REST service that takes an XML input stream as a parameter. The error I get is:
Caused by: java.lang.IllegalStateException: org.xml.sax.SAXNotRecognizedException: unrecognized feature http://javax.xml.XMLConstants/feature/secure-processing

I've seen other questions posted here suggesting to upgrade the Xerces library I'm using and to have it be the upper most dependency so Maven grabs that one instead of some other library , but it hasn't worked out yet for me. The relevant part of my POM file is:

The only thing I can think of that's still causing the problem is that something is using a Xerces library still, but I can't find anything in the dependencies that are using it. Also, I originally had been using xercesImpl version 2.0.2 and xerces 2.0.2 before using xercesImpl 2.11.0, though that didn't seem to help get rid of this error.
Try using xerces-2.9.0 and xercesImpl-2.9.1.
Reference:
Solution for secure-processing org.xml.sax.SAXNotRecognizedException causing java.lang.IllegalStateException running inside Tomcat
This worked for me by adding below lines to tomcat configuration arguments:
-Djavax.xml.parsers.SAXParserFactory="com.sun.org.apache.xerces.internal.jaxp.SAXParserFactoryImpl"
i'm working on a spring web application lately (with spring security and spring data jpa)
I'm getting this error lately and i don't have any idea how to solve it :
when i try to deploy the WAr , i get this :
org.glassfish.deployment.common.DeploymentException: CDI deployment failure:WELD-001408 Unsatisfied dependencies for type [Set<Service>] with qualifiers [#Default] at injection point [[BackedAnnotatedParameter] Parameter 1 of [BackedAnnotatedConstructor] #Inject com.google.common.util.concurrent.ServiceManager(Set<Service>)]

at org.glassfish.kernel.event.EventsImpl.send(EventsImpl.java:131)
any idea what's the problem here ?

This error often comes from Google Guava 14.x being packaged in a web application.
You should find out which dependency is responsible for that, and exclude Google Guava from that dependency. Additionally you have to add a newer Guava as dependency, for example:
<dependency>
<artifactId>guava</artifactId>
<groupId>com.google.guava</groupId>
<version>16.0</version>
</dependency>
Update:
A quick test showed that querydsl-core is the the lib which has Guava as dependency. Exclude it like this:
<dependency>
<groupId>com.mysema.querydsl</groupId>
<artifactId>querydsl-core</artifactId>
<version>${com.mysema.querydsl.version}</version>
<exclusions>
<exclusion>
<artifactId>guava</artifactId>
<groupId>com.google.guava</groupId>
</exclusion>
</exclusions>
</dependency>
(And don't forget the new dependency on Guava 16)
