Install specific version of tailwind-rn - react-native

I just got into mobile development.
I am in the process of following this tutorial "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qJaFIGjyRms&t=1384s" to create my first app.
But I have a problem when installing tailwind-rn (at the 23rd minute), I followed everything as in the tutorial but my app tells me that "tw is not a function", after several research I understood that my installation of tailwind was perhaps not the good one and that it is necessary to use tailwind 3.0.1 because it is a stable version and is fonctionnal for this.
My first question is: do you think this is the solution?
My second question: What is the command line to install a specific version of tailwind-rn?

In order to install any package with specific version you can do it in this way:
npm i 'package_name'#'package_version'
In your situation:
npm i tailwind-rn#3.0.1

reSolve and React Native integration

Is there any working example available involving reSolve in React Native?
Suggestions of comparable solutions (running without any back-end connectivity in place) either in React Native or Flutter are also most appreciated.
GitHub contains an example in the reimagined/react-native-example repository but unfortunately it isn't working. It seems the current version is pretty outdated.
Referring to that repository, the command yarn create resolve-app -e shopping-list-advanced shopping-list-advanced results in the following error message.
Error: No such example, shopping-list-advanced. The following examples are available
So you are unable to download the sample code since it does not appear to exist.
So I tried downloading and inflating the ZIP manually. Afterwards I ran yarn install (which takes a while and reports quite a lot of warnings). Next, I used the command yarn start:native. This doesn't work either and results in the following error message.
ERROR: Node.js version 16.13.2 is no longer supported.expo-cli supports following Node.js versions: >=10.13.0 <11.0.0 (Active LTS) >=12.0.0 <13.0.0 (Active LTS) >=13.0.0 <14.0.0 (Current Release)
In an attempt to solve the problem, I updated the expo-cli version in the native\package.json file to 5.0.3. Running yarn install and yarn start:native again results in a new error message being thrown error.
Invalid regular expression:
/(ui[\]node_modules[\]react-native[\].|ui[\]node_modules[\]expo[\].|node_modules[\]react[\]dist[\].|website\node_modules\.|heapCapture\bundle.js|.\tests\.)$/:
Range out of order in character class.
This doesn't seem to go anywhere... In other words, I am a bit stuck here since I don't know what this message actually means.
Thank you for your feedback.
The team decided to extract the React Native example to a separate repository and postpone its maintenance to keep focused on more important tasks like polishing the server-side.
As you mentioned, the example is outdated, there are many changes in the client configuration since then. In the future, we may work on some guide on how to use reSolve in React Native and other frameworks.
In the meantime, you can try to add reSolve in your ReactNative app using our docs.
We provide several client libraries that can be helpful:

https://reimagined.github.io/resolve/docs/api/client/resolve-react-hooks/

Feel free to contact us through Github in case of any difficulties, we'll be glad to help you.

Vue-Cli3 and the recent Node-Sass DoS advisory: How to replace node-sass with dart-sass?

I have an app created with Vue-Cli and it uses node-sass. Recently, I ran npm audit and is informing me there is a new advisory for node-sass with the following info:
All versions of node-sass are vulnerable to Denial of Service (DoS).
No fix is currently available. Consider using an alternative package
until a fix is made available.
Thus, I can't deploy my app to the company's enterprise cloud (DevOps pipeline).
Does anyone know how I can fix or replace node-sass with dart-sass and whether there are any specific updates or changes I need to do with my app?
Kinda shooting in the dark here...not much out there at the moment. Thanks.
This worked for me, follow the link below

I need a bower alternative

I am working on a project with dotnet core, in Linux and it is using MVC.
I am reading a book for learning how to put things together. The book advises installing Bower. But the last time I researched bower I believe they were advising towards using something else for new projects.
I would like to know what alternative I can use for front end management. I need to be able to use Bootstrap, Jquery, Popper and Datatables on my page. And of course, I should be able to use it in Linux.
Thanks for the help francium. NPM is working just fine.It is in the official Ubuntu repository. You have to install popper the following way though: npm install popper.js --save
If you don't specify the .js extension it will give you a warning saying that bootstrap requires a popper installation but it was not installed. You also have to install git on your machine to make it work. I did not do it the first time I ran it and it gave me an error asking me if it was installed. Thanks for the suggestion, It was relatively easy to do get things working.
Yarn is now the alternative to Bower, but to install Yarn you need to use NPM

Ember: error while i am running ember serve

I am try to upgrade exisiting ember project cli version by following this tutorial
https://emberigniter.com/update-latest-ember-data-cli/
after finishing this i try to run ember serve it shows error like
missing path
i doknow what exactly it was trying to say and also i am new to ember could any one help me sort out this issue.
I recommend using ember-cli-update to update your ember projects. Please check it out. It avoids user-mistakes while upgrading (no manual merges, etc. ...).
You could try to delete node_modules and run npm install again. It could a package in your package.json that ember serve can't find. Also check the releases it is not easy to upgrade from older version to the latest one, too many deprecations. Also if it si too old i suggest you to start over create again the ember app.

Install NPM modules on current project while offline

this question might seem stupid but I'm looking for a solution to this scenario:
Let's say I'm starting a new project at an offline environment and I have some npm packages installed globally on my laptop and I'd like to use them for a new project I just created.
For example: I've used npm i -g create-react-app and now I'd like to use create-react-app to make a new react app but I'm currently offline.
I've tried to follow an "offline npm" solution where I basically create an npm server on my computer but I didn't manage to make it work, and am not sure if this will give me the solution I'm looking for.
Sorry if this was answered before, I couldn't find a solution.
Thanks in advance!
You can try run
create-react-app youproject
when you are offline. For me, this sometimes work, sometimes not.
Other solution is install offline all packages, defined in package.json file. You can do this, if you have this packages installed in online mode.
So you can try install this packages, using:
npm link packagename
or
npm i './path_to_package_in_user_directory' // yes, you can also install packages from folder
This solution is also ok, when you try add new packages to existing project. Sometimes this causes error and you need reinstall all packages (that's big pain), but most of all, works good.
