I'm trying to get started with DbFit 4.0.0 as described in Getting Started guide.
I have the following test http://localhost:8085/HelloWorldTest
!path lib/*.jar
!|dbfit.OracleTest|
!|Connect|localhost:1521|integration|integration|XEPDB1|
!|Query| select 'test' as x from dual|
|x|
|test|
But when I run the test I'm getting the following problem:
java.lang.Error: Cannot load Oracle database driver oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver. Is the JDBC driver on the classpath?

I find nothing relevant from:
https://dbfit.github.io/dbfit/docs/database-specific-information.html
https://dbfit.github.io/dbfit/docs/reference.html#connect
I'm running DbFit in Linux (Lubuntu 22.04 LTS).
I had to solve the following two problems before I got the example running:
missing Oracle JDBC Driver
incorrect connection string
Problem #1 missing Oracle JDBC driver
I downloaded Oracle JDBC driver (ojdbc8.jar) from the Oracle download page:
https://www.oracle.com/database/technologies/appdev/jdbc-downloads.html
and copied it to <DBFIT_HOME>/lib.
Unfortunately after that I run into the second problem.
Problem #2 incorrect connection string
Now I got the following error:
oracle.net.ns.NetException: Listener refused the connection with the following error:
ORA-12505, TNS:listener does not currently know of SID given in connect descriptor

My connection string:
!|Connect|localhost:1521|integration|integration|XEPDB1|
should be correct and I can connect to the database with other tools.
After a bit of tinkering I got the following connection string working:
!|Connect|jdbc:oracle:thin:integration/integration#localhost:1521/XEPDB1|
In general the connection string format is:
jdbc:oracle:thin:<USER>/<PASSWORD>#<HOST>:<PORT>/<SERVICE_NAME>
See e.g. URL string format for connecting to Oracle database with JDBC

Complete working getting started test: http://localhost:8085/HelloWorldTest

!|dbfit.OracleTest|

Which Weblogic version are you using? I have not seen a silent script to create domains for a While. If you are trying to do this on Weblogic 12c, it won't work as this kind of script used to be available for older versions such as 8 and 9 as far as I remember.
If you want to automate domain's provisioning for versions such as 12c you should use a newer approach. Here, I am proposing two options.
You can use Ansible, WLST and Python to create the domain. You can see an example here https://github.com/textanalyticsman/ansible-soa
You can use Weblogic Deploy Tooling, this is an Open Source tool provided by Oracle and you can find out it here https://github.com/oracle/weblogic-deploy-tooling
The combination of Weblogic Deploy Tooling and Ansible is also a good option as is shown in https://github.com/textanalyticsman/ansible-soa-wldt
You can also try Weblogic Kubernetes Operator https://oracle.github.io/weblogic-kubernetes-operator/userguide/managing-domains/domain-resource/

NoClassDefFoundError usually indicates that certain libraries in your environment are missing.
See for example Connect Hive thorugh Java JDBC
In your case it might be a possibility that you need the Big Data edition.
I had the same error message and using following jars helped me.

and used following connection string
jdbc:drill:drillbit=localhost:31010;schema=Saiku.root
I also have bunch of parquet files in HDFS directory /dashboard/saiku3//.parquet
There are 17 such tables. I have created a storage engine called Saiku with root storage in /saiku3 and created Views for all the 17 hadoop directories. Those directories have been imported from mysql to HDFS via Sqoop as parquet.
I have been stuck here for hours and Couldn't find a solution, Am I doing something wrong here?
Thanks in advance.
"Not enough entropy" ? What version of Java is this? You seem to be using /dev/random iso. /dev/urandom. Anyway, you can change this with -Djava.security.egd if I'm not mistaken.
Check if you have drill-jdbc-all-1.8.0.jar in tomcat/lib

Error: Sorry an error has occurred. Please check the stack above for details.
I have tried to cleanup the project, remove what was already deployed, revert my changes to what I had when I succeeded to deploy, re-install mfp cli, but I still have the issue.
Any hint on what I could do to get rid of the exception?
Thanks!
The failure is coming from the upgrader code path, as if something is missing in the adapter files.
My suggestion is to create a new adapter and see that it gets deployed. Then, start adding back code. Maybe you will find the failing part.
