I have some outlook VBA code which works fine to save attachments, however every time I get an email or a meeting notification in Outlook it causes an instant Out of Bounds error If I don't get any emails or notifications the code will run fine through to completion.
Is there a way to ensure that these notifications will not stop the code from running?

The Selection property of the Explorer class returns a Selection object that contains the item or items that are selected in the explorer window. In your code I've noticed the following lines of code:

So, if the selection is changed in Outlook between these two lines of code you may get out of range exception at runtime. Instead, I'd recommend caching the selection object and use it through the code to make sure it remains the same:

Another important thing is that a folder may contain different types of items. You'd need to check their message class to distinguish different kind of Outlook items.
There's a command button as a trigger to send email to customers when you click on it. It will call the function first like this:

Then there are two parts for the function in another sheet waiting to be called, I couldn't debug this since whenever I want to, the system only show me the line which calls the function. The problem is I know there's something wrong about calling function, but I'm not sure which part of the function goes wrong. I'm sorry as the function part is a bit tedious, as you can see below. Then there are two parts for the function in another sheet
If the procedures are located in a sheet module, then you should call them with:
Sheet_Object_Name.Send_Unformatted_Rangedata (2)
Second option is to move procedures to ThisWorkbook module, and your code:
ThisWorkbook.Send_Unformatted_Rangedata (2)
should work fine.
Another solution is to add a separate module to your project (using Insert->Module), move procedures there, and then you can call those procedures from other modules using simply:

Works for me every single time and does not leave any Excel processes hanging in the task manager.
Note: if your code breaks at some point and you do not handle the already opened objects properly then they will just hang in the processes tab in the Task Manager. If you haven't implemented error handling in your code then start here.

The Interop Marshal release doesn't always work because Excel XP and lower suck at releasing. I had to use your loop, but replace the Process.Close() and Process.Quit() with Process.Kill(). Works like a charm. Just be careful that you want ALL versions of excel.exe to be killed, because they will.

When you do anything with the Excel Interop, it creates a new process.
The problem with killing all Excel processes is that you may kill a process that you are working with. You can kill all processes which have been running for a certain length of time (i.e. from a certain timestamp) with:

You can obtain the process ID from the Excel.Application hwnd and use that to kill the process safely.

this is my current code, what i need is when i click on a mail (only the mail i clicked on, not every mail in the folder/same place)
it has to check if the Sender of the mail is already in my contacts or in the
Addressbook 'All Users',
and if it's not a one of those yet, open the AddContact window and fill in his/her information
what doesn't work yet is:
most important of all, it doesn't run the script when i click on a mail
the current check if the contact already exsist doesn't work
and goes with a vbMsgBox (yes or no and response stuff) wich is not what i want/need
if the contact already exsist then nothing has to happen.

How could I, using "ReadProcessMemory" API, loop through all running processes of the machine and scan for an Array of strings and return a true/false value if any one or more are contained in the memory of the process - using VB6?
