Is it possible to change the heading dropdown label?
The solution I found doesn't work as expected. The label turns into 'choose heading' value when I click any list option.

I have a autocomplete field:
I need to set the default value selected for this dropdown using another control value as shown in:
This control is passed to the form load as shown in:
For example if use cost center is 110 as shown in:
Then the default selected value of the Site lookup dropdown needs to be as shown in:
The tricky part is that your Site-Item field isn't a dropdown but an autocomplete. An autocomplete doesn't know all the possible label/values, but can only find some label/values doing a search by label. So you can't tell an autocomplete "set your value to 110", because it doesn't know what the label corresponding to 110 is.
If you knew the label, you could do this programmatically with an fr-set-label, but here you don't have the label but the value. You can read more about this in the section Setting by value. So, my advice is to use a Dynamic Data Dropdown instead of an Autocomplete field.
I am trying to load multiselect dropdown value based on click button action dynamically. When one click is performed value is selected and appended in the dropdown. But when I clicked next time, the dynamic values are appended to the previous value. So I decided to clear multiselect dropdown on each click.
But when values are selected dynamically, To clear dropdown
$('.ui.fluid.dropdown').dropdown('restore defaults');
$('.ui.fluid.dropdown').dropdown('clear');
Both also not working. Because of dynamic appending of data.
So my question is how to clear semantic mutiselect dropdown dynamically.
I tried to use the following code to clear the dropdown and it works fine.
var class_name = $('.ui.fluid.dropdown');
$(class_name).dropdown('clear');
$(class_name).dropdown('destroy');
$(class_name).dropdown('restore defaults');
In form I have button, i want display field "Price" after button "Save" click, it's possible ?
Or can be solution to add to field HTML atribute "readonly".
In your form, enable option "Generate HTML for all fields" (check the image below):
It will generate html for all fields, even for hidden ones.
Add field price to the form and hide id by paragraph hide formulas according to your requirements.
When you have saved your form, add a flag to your document, that turns the hide formula for price field to false, and invoke the command:
#Command( [RefreshHideFormulas] );
It will make your price field visible.
I want to click a button that contains "Add" as text.
ie:
driver.find_element_by_xpath("(//a[contains(text(),'Add')])").click()
however it's not practical to do this:
driver.find_element_by_xpath("(//a[contains(text(),'Add')])[1]").click()
It would be fine, except the page has a button with text "Add User", and it clicks that instead. Is there a way to only click it if it is EXACTLY "Add" and not just contains "Add"?
You can also try :
driver.find_element_by_link_text("Add").click()
link text will match links who's text equals Add and it doesn't match text which contains Add as part of it.
This should work for you:
driver.find_element_by_xpath("//a[text()='Add']").click()
You should change your xpath to require an exact match instead of a partial match.
driver.find_element_by_xpath("//a[text()='Add']").click()
Using text()= requires the text on the button to be equal to 'Add' and will not find other buttons that happen to contain the text 'Add'
I have a gtk.Notebook and i want get text of label from current gtk.noteBook tab.
I make that:
text = self.get_tab_label(self.get_nth_page(self.get_current_page()))
if i print text i see:
But in gtk help i read that: get_tab_label_text: returnvalue: the text of the tab label, or None if the tab label widget is not a gtk.Label.
How can i get tet from label in this situation?
Thank you.
Any gtk.Widget can be a Notebook tab label. It is usually a gtk.Label, but not always. So two API methods exist to cover both situations:
gtk.Notebook.get_tab_label() returns a gtk.Widget that is the label widget. If it is a gtk.Label, you will need to call gtk.Label.get_text() to get the text.
gtk.Notebook.get_tab_label_text() returns a string of text only if the label widget is a gtk.Label, otherwise will return None.
