I have looked all through the Nest developers site, and I can't find anything related to the camera. I can find plenty of great information on the thermostat and the smoke / CO alarm, but nothing for the camera.
In particular, I'm looking for how to get the video URL, how to get/set video resolution and frame rate, and how to get/set the zoom level (if applicable). Thanks.
As a short update to this question: I believe Nest made an API for the camera available today: https://developer.nest.com/documentation/api-reference/overview#cameras
There are no Nest Cam API's at the moment. However, we're hearing feedback asking for them. I'd love to hear what you would use them for.
I believe that the Dropcam (Nest camera) API is still in Beta. You can sign up for the beta here.
I am trying to place amazon search bar for books category in my website, where user searches for a book and is redirected to amazon website. My URL should be tagged with my associate ID so that i can earn some money.
The problem is i am unable to find any procedure to create such search bar. I have browsed through Product advertising API section, but it is very confusing.
I want exactly like this: http://amasearchbar.com/demo-blog/
Can someone help me how to make such autocomplete search bar, or provide me directly the code for it.
Any help is appreciated.
Amazon isn't likely to give instructions for how to create something like that - but they do give you the tools necessary to figure it out yourself if you're willing to learn their API.
Without more information, it's hard for anyone here to "help" you either.
That link you gave is to a WP plugin. Are you using WP? If so, your easiest bet is to buy the plugin and use that (I am not endorsing that plugin specifically, I have no experience with it).
If you give more specifics on what language you're wanting to use to create the search bar and its interaction with the API, and specific problems you run into while working on it, this community will be much more likely to help you. Questions to point you to a free source for the finished code of your project are not likely to get very far though.
Based on your previous questions, it seems likely that you are using Wordpress. If that's the case, and you don't know how to write the scripts to interact with the API then the easiest answer to your question by far is to either buy a plugin (perhaps the one you linked) or hire someone to write one. If you'd like to learn, there are a lot of resources online to help you start learning to write WP plugins.
I'm considering starting learning corona development, What I'm building need to have a server side (heroku/parse or something else), Can I do it with corona? can I integrate any other SDK? Does it supports google analytics?
Please help.
You can do a bunch of server side stuff with Corona - autoLAN and GameMinion are both great examples of third party addons to make social games easier in Corona, although they aren't necessarily what you will use looking at them will give you a good idea of what is possible.
For Google Analytics, depending on what you were hoping to track, you'd likely be better off considering something like Flurry.
I have been trawling through all I can to do with the Google GData YouTube API and its doing nothing but hurting my brain, Google do not make it clear to learn and there seesm to be little content online about it (Objective-C iOS, Mac).
I just want to achieve one of the most simply tasks, search YouTube, getting thumbnails, descriptions, titles etc for the search results. If you can help with this I would appreciate it. I am unsure of where to start.
Alternatively if you can recommend some good resources for learning the API I'd appreciate it, thanks.
The YouTubeSample app would be the most straightforward example. You would need to first read and understand the API library documentation.
I was looking into dictionary.com word pronunciation API.They require an extra fee to use their api.
Was wondering if someone knew of some similar API's that are free?
