I have published a react native application to google play store for Android Mobile and android tv.
App successfully published for Android Mobile but rejected for Android Tv.
For tv, I have received notification for:
Missing DPad functionality
Your app requires user interaction for menus or app navigation. Please make sure that all menus and app navigation are fully functional using a DPad. Please refer to our DPAD Control and Hardware Declaration documentation.

If you need any more info add , just let me know.

You need to use the leanbackLauncher.
I've gotten it working but am away from computer so I'll update this once I can check out how I did it, but I'm 99% sure if you Google leanbackLauncher it will lead you in the right direction

Hello all , I have developed an android webview application for my website , everything works fine and i have published my application in playstore but the issue is my application is still not receiving any notification , it does not show message notification when it is received , I want my application to show up the notification over the top of the display.
And also i have created a notification and have given all the the permission, Further I have integrated firebase to the application so that it can receive notification .
But the thing is , the notification popup is till not showing . What can I do for this ? what should I do more to receive and display notification over the top of the display ?
Can anyone please help me to resolve this issue
My Android application should have the notification popup over the display when the message is received
Even after giving "post notification" permission and integrating firebase messaging service , the application is not showing the notification popup.

While releasing react native app to the play store getting error, This file can't be installed on Android 12 or higher

You uploaded an APK or Android App Bundle which has an activity, activity alias, service or broadcast receiver with intent filter, but without the 'android:exported' property set. This file can't be installed on Android 12 or higher. See: developer.android.com/about/versions/12/behavior-changes-12#
I have added the property 'android:exported' to the AndroidManifest.xml. But the same issue occurs while uploading

React Native firebase dynamic link, deep linking [Android]

I am using dynamic link in React Native, I have all the steps required for IOS and android setup. (dynamic link opens the app on both platform) but when I have deep link attached to it, on Android app is opened but deep link parameters are not passed.
IOS works fine, deep link works correctly.

In this video there are two browser: Mi browser and chrome browser,
Mi browser: when pressing dynamic link, it opens app directly without passing parameters.
chrome: when pressing dynamic link, it asks to open either in browser or open app, when you choose and app it passes parameters and deep link works.

Android: react-native-image-picker manifest.xml invalid file path

Sorry if i don't fully respect the question pattern, it is my first question on StackOverflow. :)
I am trying to run my react native app on Android (for the first time) after a long period of code (I was only testing on iOS).
I have been fixing a lot of issues mentioned by Android Studio but can't figure out the following one:
error: invalid file path 'my_path/node_modules/react-native-image-picker/android/build/intermediates/manifests/aapt/release/AndroidManifest.xml'.
My config:
"react-native-image-picker": "^0.27.2"
"react-native": "0.56.0"
I have followed the path mentioned above, and the file exist and doesn't seem to have any error in it.
I also followed the install doc from react-native-image-picker

Force and lock orientation at runtime with phonegap / cordova v3.x on iOS [duplicate]

I started looking into PhoneGap yesterday and created a simple "marble" rolling around while tilting the phone. I am currently developing on Android but I want the orientation to stay as landscaping instead of moving when the phone gets spun around. Is there a way of doing this?
Manifest:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<manifest xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android"
package="com.phonegap.helloworld"
android:versionCode="1"
android:versionName="1.0" >
<supports-screens
android:largeScreens="true"
android:normalScreens="true"
android:smallScreens="true"
android:resizeable="true"
android:anyDensity="true"
/>
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.CAMERA" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.VIBRATE" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_LOCATION_EXTRA_COMMANDS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_PHONE_STATE" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.INTERNET" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.RECEIVE_SMS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.RECORD_AUDIO" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.MODIFY_AUDIO_SETTINGS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.READ_CONTACTS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_CONTACTS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.GET_ACCOUNTS" />
<uses-permission android:name="android.permission.BROADCAST_STICKY" />
<uses-sdk android:minSdkVersion="8" />
<application
android:icon="#drawable/ic_launcher"
android:label="#string/app_name" >
<activity
android:name=".App"
android:configChanges="orientation|keyboardHidden"
android:label="#string/app_name" >
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
<category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
</intent-filter>
</activity>
<activity
android:name="com.phonegap.DroidGap"
android:label="#string/app_name"
android:screenOrientation="landscape"
android:configChanges="orientation|keyboardHidden">
<intent-filter></intent-filter>
</activity>
</application>
</manifest>
Code:
package com.phonegap.helloworld;
import android.os.Bundle;
import org.apache.cordova.*;
public class App extends DroidGap {
/** Called when the activity is first created. */
#Override
public void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {
super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
super.loadUrl("file:///android_asset/www/index.html");
}
}
Have you tried this?
android:screenOrientation="portrait"
Inside the AndroidManifest.xml file, where you have declared your activity, just add the above line.
For example:
<activity
android:name=".Activity.SplashScreenActivity"
android:label="#string/app_name"
android:screenOrientation="portrait">
<intent-filter>
<action
android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
<category
android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
</intent-filter>
</activity>
The correct way to do this for all devices is to configure config.xml
<preference name="orientation" value="portrait" />
<preference name="orientation" value="landscape" />
https://build.phonegap.com/docs/config-xml
It is very simple, you need to add android:screenOrientation="landscape" in your AndroidManifest.xml file.
<application android:icon="#drawable/icon" android:label="#string/app_name">
<activity android:name=".LogUploaderActivity" android:label="Log Uploader" android:screenOrientation="landscape" >
<intent-filter>
<action android:name="android.intent.action.MAIN" />
<category android:name="android.intent.category.LAUNCHER" />
</intent-filter>
</activity>
Please try this in your activity. Inside onCreate() and before setContentView.
// keeps the screen orientation in Landscape mode
setRequestedOrientation(ActivityInfo.SCREEN_ORIENTATION_LANDSCAPE);
Maybe important to mention because i did not know it:
If you use the online phonegap apk converter with hydration enabled to your application, u'll have to rebuild your app completly instead of just update it. This will help you also with preferences like "orientation" or "fullscreen" !
