I am running selenium test on Jenkins and using maven and TestNG for test cases. My test cases are running fine on my local machine IntelliJ and via terminal. However, when running it through my local Jenkins job i am getting this error.

I found two solutions:
In my case Jenkins uses Java version 11 (Jenkins 2.363) the problem disappeared when I switched the Java version on my Build-Server from 17 to 11
My project was using Guice 3. After switching to Guice 5 the problem also disappeared

Any idea how to solve this?
I believe this is a known issue reported here:
https://github.com/SeleniumHQ/selenium/issues/9528
So far, no solution has been found except maybe switching from Docker to another driver for browsers.
I'm using the spark-submit command as below:
spark-submit --class com.example.hdfs.spark.RawDataAdapter --master yarn --deploy-mode cluster --jars /home/hadoop/emr/deployment/server/emr-core-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar home/hadoop/emr-spark-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar hdfs://111.11.11.111:8020/user/hdfsinputfile.zip 8000
However, it gives me the error java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: com/example/emr/parser/IParser3. Though the IParser3.class is present in emr-core-1.0-SNAPSHOT.jar. I don't understand why it throws that error. I tried several ways but couldn't succeed. How can I resolve this?
I am able to run the same command in client mode and also as a standalone spark application. Getting this error only when in yarn cluster mode.

Quoting from Spark Documentation :-
http://spark.apache.org/docs/latest/running-on-yarn.html
In client mode, the driver runs in the client process, and the application master is only used for requesting resources from YARN.
In cluster mode, the Spark driver runs inside an application master process which is managed by YARN on the cluster, and the client can go away after initiating the application
So in cluster mode, the jar is executed on any available node so , so you can try these 2 ways :-
1) Copy the dependency jar to each node .
2) You can try to copy the jar to Distributed (HDFS system) and then use it .
For more details you can have a look into :
https://spark.apache.org/docs/latest/submitting-applications.html#advanced-dependency-management
I try to install hbase on the vm but without success. I follow this article: https://hbase.apache.org/book.html#quickstart.
My steps were:
1. Install CentOS 7 minimal.
2. Download hbase.
3. Download and install Java 8.
4. Set JAVA_HOME variable with value : /usr/java/jdk1.8.0_60/jre
5. edit conf/hbase-site.xml with the following text:
<configuration>
<property>
<name>hbase.rootdir</name>
<value>file:///home/testuser/hbase</value>
</property>
<property>
<name>hbase.zookeeper.property.dataDir</name>
<value>/home/testuser/zookeeper</value>
</property>
</configuration>
6. start hbase:
sh bin/start-hbase.sh
7.connect to hbase:
./bin/hbase shell
After 7 case I have got the error:

Sincerely
You are trying to run hbase as standalone mode, but HMaster is not running.
Run jps to check and check the log to find the reason why it is down.
I am trying to build my project using Jenkins to deploy the artifacts to the nexus. I have a Jenkins setup on my macOSX.
below is the error, I am getting:

I already tried the below solution but it didn't work:
http://jenkins-ci.361315.n4.nabble.com/JIRA-Created-HUDSON-5584-java-io-IOException-Remote-call-on-Channel-to-Maven-td1475049.html
Configurations I have:
MAVEN_OPTS:-Xmx1024m
-XX:MaxPermSize=128m
-Dfile.encoding=UTF-8
-Djava.awt.headless=true
output of ps -ef | grep java: /usr/bin/java -Djava.awt.headless=true -jar /Applications/Jenkins/jenkins.war
build command:clean deploy -DaltDeploymentRepository=central::default::http://<user>:<pwd>#<host>:<port>/nexus/content/groups/public/
The solution I used was to apply Java 7. What you want to do is add 1.7 to Jenkins. Following these steps I was able to successfully build my project:
Go to the Oracle Java page and downloaded the 1.7_51 jdk for Mac.
Opened the dmg and ran the executable.
On the Mac, this installs the JDK to /Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_51.jdk/
In Jenkins, go to 'Manage Jenkins' > 'Configure System'
Under the JDK heading, click the button that says JDK Installations
Under Name type 'JDK 1.7.0_51'
For JAVA_HOME type '/Library/Java/JavaVirtualMachines/jdk1.7.0_51.jdk/Contents/Home/'
Select Save
Go to your project and select Configure
You should now have a JDK drop down near the top of the page.
Select the JDK you just configured under 'Manage Jenkins'
Run the build
After doing this, my build successfully ran without the 'Can't connect to window server - not enough permissions error.'
This line looks curious:
hudson.model.Executor.run(Executor.java:247) Caused by: java.lang.InternalError:
Can't connect to window server - not enough permissions. at java.lang.ClassLoader
$NativeLibrary.load(Native Method)
I would start with a simpler project, and then add complexity from that point, for the reason of just testing to make sure your basic assumptions are correct.
You might need to set the JVM property : -Djava.awt.headless=true . By doing that you will disable the (most likely unnecessary) gui libraries that are trying to load.
Hopefully, someone can point out what maybe the issue causing the Fatal Error I receive when doing a Maven build using Hudson.
I just installed an instance of Hudson in Tomcat on a Windows XP box in a test environment. I am a rather novice at Hudson. I am trying to do a simple Maven 'clean' on a small Java project that I know builds fine on another instance of Hudson on another server.
The stack trace from the Hudson console is below:

[INFO] ------------------------------------------------------------------------
Did you happen to copy and paste a job (or entire hudson root) directory from your previous hudson machine to the one you installed? The classnotfound exception is a product of hudson/xstream trying to unmarshall build configuration.
One reason this is happening is because you built the hudson on one machine with a version and then tried to copy and paste the build configuration to your local instance and run hudson with a different version.
My suggestion if thats the case is to synch up your local machine to have the same version of hudson that was previously run on.
I have not upgraded or used any other version of hudson or copied any tasks. I am also getting this error! Checking in Hudson I see the 1.395 version is available. I did however just install the M2 maven release plugin.... Seems its stuffs up 1.394? I didn't change my job to use it yet either yet it fails.
