OpenLDAP address book in MS Outlook 2010 does not appear automatically, advanced search is needed - ldap

I currently have an OpenLDAP that runs on Centos 7. I understand that it is configured correctly and working. The problem occurs when I set it to MS Outlook 2010.
When opening the list of ldap addresses, it is empty
It is necessary to enter in advanced search. Enter a space and click the ok button.
Then you can see the full list (For this example there are only two contacts)
Is there a way to get the full list to appear when opening the ldap address book?. Has anyone found a solution?

Excel, VB macro, MSCOMM and standard user

I have a device operated via Excel through com ports with MSComm32. Some macro linked to buttons on Excel forms used to make this device work properly. Up to these last days when it suddenly stopped working.
After some investigations, it seems there are some security considerations applied within Excel. The Excel file used up to now does not work anymore if Excel is runs as a standard user. An error message indicates the control cannot be created when trying to enter the creation mode, for example. But, if Excel is run as Administrator, then everything works fine.
Is there an easy way to fix this? For example granting access rights to standard user for the module MSComm32 OCX?
Thanks!

Enumerating document names in citrix sessions

Both Excel and Word applications are published on Citrix XenApp server. My users are accessing both excel and word documents via Citrix sessions. I wish to print the names of documents that are opened currently in their sessions programmatic ally. Does anybody have any idea?
You should still be able to access the document names via the window caption since the Citrix client includes the caption of the app on the server in it's own caption. As an example I'm running Excel published via Citrix and it shows the window caption as:
Test Document.xlsx - Excel - \\Remote
So with some parsing you should be able to extract the document name, i.e. "Test Document.xlsx" in my example.

TF249051: No URL can be found that corresponds to the following server name

So am trying to open work items in Excel on my machine (TFS 2010 and Excel 2007) and I received original error from Excel
TF80070: Team Foundation encountered an error while performing the operation.
I found instructions on how to turn on diagnostics to find the underlying cause which is the error in the title
TF249051: No URL can be found that corresponds to the following server name
I cannot find anywhere in Excel that I can tweak the settings. How can I resolve this issue?
So the solution I found (after disabling and re-enabling the addin inside Excel and also removing the addin from inside Excel and re-adding it) was to go to the Team menu in Excel and click New List. It prompted me to connect to my collection which I did and then opened up a query (My Tasks). I guess somehow it didn't know exactly what to connect to although the complete error message I got from the diagnostic trace included the correct tfs server name and default collection name.

Sharepoint 2010 External Content Type list

I'm taking my first crack at creating an External list in Sharepoint 2010. I've taken 3 training classes in Sharepoint 2010, and am now trying to transfer my knowledge to my own development environment. I've followed the steps for creating my External Content type in Micorosoft sharepoint designer. I am connecting the External Content Type to a table in an external SQL Server Database. I've created a list specifying this External Content type. I've also given all authenticated users permission. I've verified that BCS is running, and all looks good. I've also checked and double checked the steps I used in creating the external content type and list, by referring to the lab manual from my Sharepoint class.
When I try to navigate to display the list, I get this very informative error message:
Unable to display this Web Part. To troubleshoot the problem, open this Web page in a Microsoft SharePoint Foundation-compatible HTML editor such as Microsoft SharePoint Designer. If the problem persists, contact your Web server administrator.
Correlation ID:b7c91266-bbbc-4703-8704-beccbbd92de0
I've tried opening this page in Sharepoint Designer but this doesn't seem to help me. Has anyone experienced this problem before? Any gotcha's that I should be looking for.
Whenever you see a correlation ID, then you should be able to get more information on the failure in the ULS output. Search for that Correlation ID in the logs and you should get plenty of additional information.
If you don't find much in the ULS logs, then change the settings to log additional information.
you need to check selection of primary key of sql tables while retrieving data to list.
To capture the error being thrown, use the SharePoint LogViewer app from CodePlex: http://sharepointlogviewer.codeplex.com/
You need to run it on your server and hit the Play Button at the
top. This starts the Live Monitoring.
Refresh your page that will give you the error with the Correlation ID.
Stop The LogViewer and filter the results by the Correlation Field.
Copy and paste the ID from your browser into the filter field.
You will now see a list of what errors are being thrown in relation to the Correlation ID.
I hope this helps out!

Setting Security Levels in Access 2007

I have created a split database in Access 2007 and need to set user level security. I don't want the users to have access to any of the tables or queries etc. I've created a form so when the database is opened it automatically opens where the user can choose an application to run. How would I go about setting the security levels for each user?
I found the below links using Google. Bit sarcy but it would always be my first port of call without further info or details in a given question showing research already done.
