I don't know why I encounter this error, when I run pm2 status:

It is a permission error
If you are trying to use pm2 in ubuntu server on EC2 and getting error for error: EACCES and code :-13
Just follow these steps:
sudo su - to get to the root user permissions
then create an ecosystem.config.js file in the root folder:-
module.exports = {
apps : [{
name: "server",
script: "server.js"
}]
}
then write pm2 start server
For installing PM2, use this:
sudo npm install -g pm2
For the error with pm2 status it's the same try with:
sudo pm2 status
The error tell you that /Users/kaitoSwift/.pm2/pm2.log does not exists.
you need to run this in sudo and verify that you didn't have other process that run on the same port.

I'm honestly very confused right because this should this framework is new and I've attempted to install cypress before.
What is wrong exactly and and how do I fix it.
Seems like a permission issue.
You should be using:
sudo npm install -g browserstack-cypress-cli
I'm new to using VS code, I'm trying to install Hubspot tools using the npm install -g #hubspot/cli

I used the best fix on this page and it worked. How to fix EACCES issues with npm install
Enter this into terminal:
sudo chown -R `whoami` ~/.npm
sudo chown -R `whoami` /usr/local/lib/node_modules

See if the answers from this post helps: NPM modules won't install globally without sudo
I had a similar problem and I added "sudo" with the command as follows:
sudo npm install -g aws-cdk
This is due to permission related issue, use sudo npm i -d react-native-cli
