I made an app that scans a QR.
It works fine on my phone and there are no issues. In the Galaxy Tab, if you select the front camera for the first time, then when you switch to the rear camera, only a black screen appears.
Conversely, if you select the rear and change it to the front, only a black screen appears.
Does this issue also occur on the iPad?
Can you possibly solve this problem?

I have designed a app in react native and it is working fine for IOS and android mobiles. but when I run it on the iPad it is showing app in the centre and black space of 2 inches in the border. App is showing too small all space covered by black. Can anybody tell me why it is happening?
We can change it in Xcode from build setting targeted set to 1,2 and it will resolve.
You have to change the Targeted device family. Select the project, then info-->Deployment--->Targeted device family to iPhone only and you have to do the same thing in targets. After that your app will be only for iPhone.
I am bulding an iOS8 app and i have noticed that on the iPhone 6 Plus my TabBars and Navigation bars are bigger than the stock Apple apps. I cant seem to find any documentation for this. How do i tell my top and bottom bars to resize for the bigger iPhones?
The screenshot below shows Maps next to my app. (Amended to show clock app instead.) I am pretty sure the clock app uses a TabBar Controller and not a toolbar as suggested below.
Do you have a proper Launch Image for the higher (#3x) resolution for the iPhone 6+? If you don't you're app is going to get scaled, which is probably why it looks bigger. Run your app with the debugger on an iPhone 6 Plus and look at the value of UIScreen.MainScreen.Scale. If it reports back "2.0", then you don't have a proper launch image for your app, the resolution is being scaled. Once you have the proper launch image, UIScreen.MainScreen.Scale should report back as 3.0.
As J2K said to you, your tab and navigation are ok. Apple Maps app uses searchbar at the top and toolbar at the bottom which are smaller. Don't waste time on this, ios will handle the size for this elements for you in all iphone sizes

I'd like to be able to force the keyboard to show on screen in my Metro app. My goal is to test out different layouts/controls and get a feel for the interaction. My problem is that I'm running Win8 on a MacBook Pro (Parallels) and I don't know how to override the physical keyboard and show it on screen instead.
Similarly, I'd like to be able to force rotation if possible.
You could run your app the Simulator. You can put the Simulator in "Touch Mode" and that will interpret mouse clicks as touch events in the on screen controls like Text Boxes and you can choose to rotate the Simulator into profile as well.
As suggested by Apple I have provided a launch image which equals to my home page iOS app.
At the moment I am testing on the iPhone simulator and I wanted to know if the same happens on real devices.
Everything works fine, however when I am in pages other than home page and I exit from application by pressing the button, then when I enter again, the launch images shows for an instant, and then suddenly the last viewed pages appears.
I wonder how can I avoid this "flickering" of pages. I don't know if this is important, but I am using Storyboards.
This is the intended behaviour if you immediately start the app again. See my answer to another Stack Overflow question on a similar matter.
To explain, the Default.png image is used when the OS is unable to take a screen shot of your last view state. Giving the OS a little longer to screen shot the app will prevent the Default.png being used. This is done so that the device does not just show a black screen, followed by your app popping in.
I am not aware of functionality to see if the OS has finished taking a screen shot. If this was possible you could place a UIImageView on top of your last view and do a more subtle fade out one you have control again.
