How can I get an url to a statement using a Chargify API? - api

How can I get an url to a statement using a Chargify API?
I want a user to be able to click a button in my application which would open an invoice in a new tab in browser in Chargify. I think I should use some Chargify API to obtain the url to open. Could someone help me find the API I need?
I tried to search for a needed API here, but with no success so far.
I was only able to figure out how to retrieve an invoice as a plain text, as a basic html and as a usual html here. Does it mean that Chargify expects me to only show invoice to a user inside my application and not inside chargify itself?

There is no publicly accessible url for a statement. As you noted, you can retrieve the text or html (or pdf I think?) representation of it and display that to your user.
Or (if it is enabled) customers can go to the Billing Portal to view their statements. https://help.chargify.com/settings/billing-portal.html
(The newer Relationship Invoicing platform does have public urls for the invoices. https://help.chargify.com/invoices/differences.html )

Is there a way to save search filters between sessions per user account on Shopify?

So (for example) if a user selects their gender and pant size while searching on Shopify store, could those selections be saved and be in place when they visit again?
I'm open to switching to a new Shopify search app that would support this feature.
There a few approaches that you can achieve this.
Using cookies
You can save their choices as cookies and refer to them once they search modifying the search URL before redirecting or appending hidden files in the form so that they submit them as well.
Creating a custom app
You can create a custom app with only one purpose to save the information to the customer metafields or tags.
Once you have this information you will be able to use the same logic as the cookie one but instead of relying on a cookie you will have access to the metafields directly.
App
I don't think that there is an App that meets these criteria, but you can look it up. Yet it may be possible to hack up the Apps in a such way that you may be able to pass this information.

TYPO3 - Insert api medipim

I want to call products on a web page via the api of Medipim. I have never done this before and I have never worked with TYPO3.
Therefore two questions.
In which (config) file do I place the authentication (I have an ID and secret key) and what exactly does that code look like?
When I want to call up the products, how do I use this in the TYPO3 page environment? Do I have to choose a html page or can I just enter it in the TYPO3 editor on a page?
Documentation: watch
You probably need an extension which converts the data you get from medipim to HTML. I Expect you get information as JSON, XML, or CSV.
As you won't publish your access code you probably will not use a javascript call from the browser to access the API, then you need some PHP.
Using PHP in TYPO3 is done in extensions. You should learn about building extensions in TYPO3. As a healper you might use the TYPO3 extension "Extension Builder" (=EB). As you have no local records you only need the extension frame with just one plugin from the EB.
Depending on your usage (will an editor select products from Medipim (option A) or should the visitor be able to select products (option B)?) you need a plugin with an option to insert desired product identification for BackEnd editors or just an input mask.
you can configure your plugin with typoscript so an integrator can enter the authentification information just once.
For option A you need to enhance your plugin with a field for the product ids.
keyword: flexform
for Option B you need a form.
Then you need to display the product information you get from the API. provide the returned data in variables and use Fluid templates to get a nice display.
Without any knowledge of TYPO3 this will be hard work and a lot to learn. The other possibility: hire an experienced TYPO3 developer and let him build this extension for you.

Web Scraping through Excel VBA

I need to fetch company addresses(cim) from site http://www.ceginfo.hu/
Example Company Name: AB-KONTÍR Szolgáltató Bt.
I know how to do it using WinHttp.WinHttpRequest object and FireBug.
But I am not able to decide to which URL I should send this request.
When I analyse the request/responses using FireBug, I get the following URL:
http://www.ceginfo.hu/company/search/4221638
4221638 is CompanyID here I think. But in my case I will have company name only and that's what my problem is.
So can anybody please tell me where can I get URL using firebug or any other tool using which I can track the URL with Company Name as parameter which I can use in my VBA code.
Thanks in advance!

No. Unless there is a publicly available database (I would suggest calling them, if you can) or an API that allows for programmatic access, the only way to arrive at this link slug is by executing the search.
Further, the post slog is not as relevant as you think. If you search for simply "Kontir", this is the resulting page -- with many results:
http://www.ceginfo.hu/company/search/4222407
You're going to have to automate the "search" -- passing the criteria to the Web Page and executing the button-click and/or HTTPPost, and then parse the result(s). In the example company name, there is only one result. But it is possible as in my example above, that there may be multiple matches for some queries, and then you will need to have a method of dealing with these, or ignoring them.

Twitter -- Tracking single user's tweet using API

I am having a hard time solving this dilemma, and I have a feeling that it's been done a million times, I just cannot find any documentation on it. What I am trying to do:
I have a button on my site that pops open a Twitter window and allows a user to tweet a reformatted message that I have defined.
<a onclick="window.open('https://twitter.com/intent/tweet?original_referer=<?php echo $_page_url?>&source=tweetbutton&text=<?php echo $tweet_message ?>&url=<?php echo $_page_url?>', '', 'height=500,width=650,modal=yes,alwaysRaised=yes resizable=1 scrollbars=1');">
<img src="/share/twitter_share.png" alt="share now" width="94" height="23" />
</a>
What I am needing is a way of tracking if this person has successfully tweeted this message and the user id or username returned for storage in a database. The reason for this is that I want them entered in this database ONCE. We are having a giveaway based on a single share/tweet, and they only get one entry per username/id.
I have tried multiple ways to retrieve the ID or username of current logged in user, mostly using the https://api.twitter.com/ to return JSON to no avail. I have also read the following:
https://dev.twitter.com/docs/platform-objects/users
https://dev.twitter.com/docs/platform-objects/tweets
And am now stuck. All I need is a return for user id that I can attach to the above window. Does anyone know how I can accomplish this? Thanks!
It cannot be done using this approach, at least not with true certainity. All you can do is track if 1) the window was successfully open using onclick and 2) if the window was closed (you can assume that perhaps the user completed the tweet).
You will NOT able to get ANY information from you open window via Javascript because the window is NOT in your domain (meaning, it is not on your server but on Twitter's).
What you want to do is implement this functionality in code as opposed to a javascript popup window. I have seen a number of commerical products that do exactly what you are describing.
The documentation (links) you provided refer to the REST API for Twitter (which usually works on the server) that is VERY different from Twitter's Web Intents which is client site javascript plugin, which has no similar API.

Pass a string to various websites

I have a product code which I need to enter into 6 different websites in order to pull different information from them about the product. Is there away to save this product code into some sort of variable and pass it into each websites input box and it return all the information from each one automatically? Really have no idea where to go/start with this so if anyone can brainstorm a few ideas to get me moving that would be great.
In order get what you are planning for:
You need a script which visits the specified web site,
then at the website, you can get the element by tag.
For instance in javascript,
var textBox = document.getElementByTag(Input);
This will give you a reference to text field to enter the text. It can be done as follows:
textBox.value = "any string";
Once you have done this, you will have to retrieve the results from the page, based on the website layout.
So if you can specify about your work in detail, you would get better response.
Assuming you're talking about using an ordinary GUI browser, the best you can do is copy it to your system clipboard, and paste it into each page on the browser.
If you're talking about a programmatic web-access like wget or curl, it depends on what language you are writing your script in.
you have to create the web request for each web site and find a way to parse the response which will be HTML
have a look at the HttpWebRequest you can find lots of example on internet that shows how you can create an HTTP POST to a website.
