I'm using .NET CORE 3.1 and I implemented xtrareports in my project. Now I'm using free trial of Devexpress. But when I'm loading my project after publish project and publish node_modules file on server the *.repx is empty and I have 28 wrong for loading file . and the stylesheet file message "Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 ()".
If nodeJS is installed on your server, IIS creates a virtual directory for node_modules and doesn't allow to serve this folder to client. So, even you upload the folder under wwwroot, client can not access this folder and report will not work.
So, try to remove virtual directory or move your files to another server that NodeJs is not installed.

I have angular 8 website which I build for production using following command:-
ng build --prod --configuration=production --base-href /eportal/*
I have created a folder "eportal" in hosting site and uploaded all components in the folder. It all worked fine and I can browse to the site using following url:-
www.abc.org/eportal/login
Is there any method or any command available in Angular 8 where I can keep my components in "eportal" folder in hosting site but access in this way(removing folder name):-
www.abc.org/login

First of all the —prod flag is an alias to —configuration=production. Please take advantage of this
Coming to the question in particular, use the following command
ng build —prod
There should be assets generated in your dist/[app-name]/ folder.
In your hosting site, instead of uploading those assets in the folder you created upload them outside.
ie. You would have uploaded your assets in public_html/eportal instead of that upload them in public_html directly.
I dont have aspnetcoremoduleV2 in iis modules, even after installing the runtime/hosting bundle
so I cant deploy or test any core service
P.S: I used to have the moduleV2 in iis, but I accidentally deleted some files from C:/inetpub folder (not 100% sure if any files were actually deleted), but since then the module disappeared and all core apps are giving me
"aspNetCore" has a bad module "AspNetCoreModuleV2" in its module list using IIS"
in folder Systerm32/inetsrv the module is missing, when I tried to add it manually and and it in the app.hosting file the iis (sort of crashed) no app was able to run until I removed these Manuel edits
I tried to re-install iis several time/ reinstall the bundle but had to luck

I have done the following and its now working
1- delete the current aspNetCoreModule (I guess this part was unnecessary)
2- install the module manually if it doesnt appear in iis modules after downloading the runtimebundle
open cmd as admin
navigate to inetSrv location "C:\Windows\System32\inetsrv"
run: appcmd.exe install module /name:AspNetCoreModule /image:%windir%\system32\inetsrv\aspnetcore.dll
ans same for aspnetcoremoduleV2, but its location is in different place
mine was in %Program Files%\IIS\Asp.Net Core Module\V2\aspnetcorev2.dll
if a duplication error appeared, delete the old one and then re install it
I have created the default play application in IntelliJ in directory P. I have over-written the default index.scala.html with my own html code. The html code refers to some css and js files which are outside the directory P. To include these external files, I added the directory of these files using project configuration settings.
My webpage doesn't load properly as the server returns 404 for the css and js files. What am I doing wrong?
When you added your directory using project structure, you only say:
Hey, IDEA, please consider this folder part of my project, consider
its contents source code and display it when I open my project.
However, when you deploy or run your app, you only deploy the usual folders to the server, which contain the resources which will be available for clients to access.
The external directory is not part of these directories and will not be deployed.
What you can do is to copy the file from the external directory as a part of your build process before deploying the application.

I have written a java Servlet web application, using NetBeans 7.2.1. The program have some jar file libraries that I have attached to the project. The application runs fine using NetBeans and Apache Tomcat 7.0.27.
My problem is that some of the jar file libraries that I am using in the project, need to access to some folders and files. I put these folder and files on the same directory as the whole NetBeans project is. but I got this exception:
Exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.io.FileNotFoundException
So I used these codes to find out where should I put them:

out.println("current directory: " + System.getProperty("user.dir"));
out.println("current directory: " + getServletContext().getRealPath(("/")));
So I figured out that the current working directory is:
C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Apache Tomcat 7.0.27\bin
My question is that how can I set different directory address for each web application? I have many web applications and some of them use the same resource file names. I can't just put all of them in one directory.
Please note that I don't have access to the source code of jar files to change the. I just need a way to set the absolute path that the jar files use.
I have the same problem when I put the WAR file on the unix server. The extracted WAR file is in this location on the server:
/data02/tools/Apache/Tomcat/apache-tomcat-6.0.37/webapps/BANNEROnline
But I figure I should put the resource folders and files in this path (moosavi3 is my username!):
/home/moosavi3

The working directory is the directory from which java.[exe,bin] is started. I assume the bin directory is where the tomcat start-up script is? If the jars are all using this working directory I don't believe there is a way to make different web-apps have different working directory, they're all loaded on the same jvm (java.exe) from the same working directory.
A working directory is the directory from which a binary is started, it is not some arbitrary value that you can change.
I suspect these jar files where meant to be run as standalone applications and expected the filesystem resources they are trying to access to be in the same location as themselves.
Any filesystem resources would have to be moved to the location of your java.exe so that the correct file path resolution can result from your jars.
Standard Servlet project requires external libraries to be placed in the 'WEB-INF/lib' directory under project root. You can search google for 'servlet directory structure' and do your own research for more information. Shared libraries between web applications can be placed in the 'lib' directory under tomcat root, they should be picked up by tomcat jvm. My recommendation would be to keep the dependencies project specific, because you may need different versions in different projects in the future.

I'm facing a problem due to the folder name "Program Files" in which my wamp is installed.
I'm using Yii Framework to create a web app.
While running a command
yiic webapp c:\Program Files\wamp\www\YiiApp
it gives error due to the white space in the folder name.
The error is as below:

* app-path: required, the directory where the new application will be created.
If the directory does not exist, it will be created. After the application
is created, please make sure the directory can be accessed by Web users.
* vcs: optional, version control system you're going to use in the new project.
Application generator will create all needed files to the specified VCS

What should I do? Please suggest me something.
The second install will have superceeded the first. In other words Wampmanager and Apache and MySQL will be being started out of the new folder.
As per your question on wamp forum, copy wwww/subfolders into the new location and then copy ONLY YOUR databases from mysqlx.y.z/data into the same place in the new location.
Then delete the folders from program files.
You only need one wamp ( Apache/MySQL) per system.
I tried something else:
Without moving the previously installed wamp's content just read the
"uninstall_services.bat" file
just uninstall these services from that wamp directory which you want to disable.
Still the another wamp's services won't start. So install those services mentioned in "uninstall_services.bat" file manually from respective directories.
Now Restart All Services from the tray icon. The required wamp will be enabled.
If won't, try it again. No need to reinstall wamp.
