Yii 1.1.8 - Error messages without line numbers - error-handling

I have a simple issue "Array and string offset access syntax with curly braces is deprecated", but I am not sure where to go to fix it.
How do I enable line numbers to show?

you can activate the debug function in main.php file. This file located in protected/config folder.
Edit as following:
locate the 'log' array inside the file
uncomment the CWebLogRoute in the array
If you do it right, then when error shows up, you can see the error location.
How your main.php log config looks like when uncomment

Error accessing my.settings - corrupt user.config

I have a client who has asked me to fix a problem with a corrupt user.config file. The config file has enough of an XLM header for the program to load the settings, but the rest of the config file is nulls (0x00) so the config loads, but then an error occurs when attempting to access any of its member. Note: the 0x00 value pops up in the error message later.
After much research, the common suggested solution seems to be delete the user.config file and then do a My.Settings.Reset but this doesn't work for me. The only solution that seems to work is to delete the user.config file, and then shut down and restart the program. The program starts and runs fine after deleting the user.config file. It creates a new user.config with default values and goes on its merry way with no problems.
What I have tried:
First:
Dim innerExcept As ConfigurationErrorsException = CType(cex.InnerException, ConfigurationErrorsException)
My.Computer.FileSystem.DeleteFile(innerExcept.Filename)
Then various combinations of the following:
My.Settings.Reset()
My.Settings.Reload()
My.Settings.Upgrade()
No matter what I try, I get the following error. Any thoughts?
System.Configuration.ConfigurationErrorsException HResult=0x80131902
Message=Configuration system failed to initialize
[truncated for brevity]
Inner Exception 1: ConfigurationErrorsException: '.', hexadecimal
value 0x00, is an invalid character.

IntelliJ - File watchers: wrong output of macros

I am trying to setup a file watcher for scss files which is working on files with a filename not starting with _.
But if I have a file named _file_name.scss the output of any macros that include the filename will be file.name.scss.
The first _ is removed and following ones are replaced by ..
Even though in the insert macros selection tool I can see that the output when you select a macro is correct.
Like $FilePathRelativeToProjectRoot$ will display mypath/_file_name.scss in the selection tool but then my command from this file watcher will output mypath/file.name.scss.
Am I missing a parameter here ?
Full configuration:
For me, existing file names are not changed when using similar file watcher. But files with names starting the _ are not prettified, the main .scss that includes them is processed instead.
To avoid this, try adding COMPILE_PARTIAL=true variable to your file watcher settings:
Also, make sure that Track only root files is off.

Configure Less with PhpStorm doesn't compile

I am trying to compile my styles.less to styles.css. My folder structure is following:
assets->less->styles.less
assets->css->styles.css
I believe my configurations are wrong. In PhpStorm I set less output path to refresh: ../css/$FileNameWithoutExtension$.css
I do have a styles.css file under the less file and it is compiling.
So far I only know regular CSS so I'm not very familiar with Less yet.
Any help?
Your File Watcher setup is incomplete.
Right now it will save the generated file next to the source... but you need it 2 folders up.
You did set up correctly in Output paths to refresh .. but that file tells IDE what file to check when file watcher is finished running. It is not where the generated file will be placed.
You need to alter your Arguments field.
Currently you have ... $FileName$ $FileNameWithoutExtension$.css ...
You need to adjust the path there -- it has to be ... $FileName$ ../../css/$FileNameWithoutExtension$.css ... -- because that's where you specify such path.
(leading and trailing "..." means other parameters that you have got there)
You should have changed the Arguments field accordingly;
Like:
Arguments: --no-color $FileName$ $ProjectFileDir$/themes/elisa/assets/css/$FileDirPathFromParent(less)$$FileNameWithoutExtension$.css
Output paths to refresh: $ProjectFileDir$/themes/elisa/assets/css/$FileDirPathFromParent(less)$$FileNameWithoutExtension$.css

How do i set working directory in sql developer in code

I'm using sql developer.
I want to run some scripts.
I don't want to have to include the folder name in the call to each script.
But I also want to use a variable to include the directory to look in (the working directory).
I can do this but i am having trouble with folder names with spaces (this is in windows).
Can anyone help me work out how to do this without having to rename my folder to remove spaces?
define dir="c:\Users\xx\Google Drive\Analytics\Recruitment\NSL\2. Data Understanding\Code"
#&dir\cb_nsl_impairments.sql;
Returns error
SP2-0310: Unable to open file: "c:\Users\xx\Google.sql"
Oops. Solved it.
Just needed double quotes around the script call:
#"&dir\cb_nsl_impairments.sql"

LESS Compiler: Unexpected token u

When I attempt to compile a LESS template in Visual Studio using Web Essentials, I receive an error that says "Unexpected token u" with no file name, no line number, and no column number. Why is this happening?
Go to %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\VisualStudio\12.0\Extensions which is the folder where per-user Visual Studio extensions reside. WebEssentials will be located in a subfolder with a randomly generated name.
From inside the WebEssentials folder, open up the file Resources\nodejs\tools\server\services\srv-less.js and go to line 65, which reads:
map = JSON.parse(output.map);
The problem is source map output may be the undefined value. JSON.parse can only parse strings, so it casts that to the string value "undefined" before parsing, but JSON does not recognize that as valid token. (It only understands the null value, not the undefined value.)
So... change line 65 to read:
map = JSON.parse(output.map || "null");
And voilĂ ; LESS compilation on files with empty output works again.

From my experience, this error occurs when LESS attempts to output a CSS file from a LESS file, and the resulting CSS file is empty. In my case, this happened after removing some font-face declarations, which left the resulting CSS file empty. LESS would not compile until I added a class that would output to the CSS file.
Details may be found here: https://github.com/madskristensen/WebEssentials2013/issues/1696
I'm adding this to StackOverflow because I'm unable to access Github at my workplace. I hope this helps someone.
You can also add in your less file an important comment /**/ or #charset "utf-8"; as described here https://github.com/madskristensen/WebEssentials2013/issues/1696
