I tried to put the 'search' button below the 'branch' label, here's my snippet
<template>
<base-header class="pb-4 pb-5 pt-6 pt-md-6 bg-gradient-success">
<template>
<div>
<b-form inline>
<label for="status">Status⠀⠀⠀ :</label>
<div class="col-sm-2">
<b-form-input v-model="text"></b-form-input>
</div>
<div class="branch">
<div class="col-8 text-right">
<b-form inline label-align-sm="right">
<label for="branch">⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Branch:</label>
<div class="col-sm-2">
<b-form-input v-model="text"></b-form-input>
</div>
<div>
<b-button variant="outline-primary">Search</b-button>
</div>
</b-form>
</div>
</div>
</b-form>
</div>
<div>
<b-form inline>
<label for="storecode">Store Code:</label>
<div class="col-sm-2">
<b-form-input v-model="text"></b-form-input>
</div>
</b-form>
</div>
And here's the result after all current view
Thanks in advance☺
The reason this is happening if because you're placing it inside <b-form> with the inline prop.
If you place it outside the form it should be placed below.
If you want the button to submit the form, you can target it using the form attribute which targets the id of your <b-form>.
<b-form inline id="my-form" label-align-sm="right">
<label for="branch">⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Branch:</label>
<div class="col-sm-2">
<b-form-input></b-form-input>
</div>
</b-form>
<b-button type="submit" form="my-form" variant="outline-primary">Search</b-button>
An alternativ is to use the Bootstrap grid system, and apply the class col-12 to the div wrapping your <b-button>.
<b-form inline id="my-form" label-align-sm="right">
<label for="branch">⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Branch:</label>
<div class="col-sm-2">
<b-form-input></b-form-input>
</div>
<div class="col-12">
<b-button variant="outline-primary">Search</b-button>
</div>
</b-form>

I am trying to resize the input field with Bulma. However, the input field stretches out across the entire screen width. Instead, I would like to center the user input with a width of say a quarter screen width.
Whatever size I enter in a div class, doesn't do anything, ie
<div class="is-size-3" >
or,
<input
class="input is-small"
size="5"
type="text"
v-model="enteredTask"
placeholder="name"
/>
Would appreciate any advice.
This is what I have:
Thanks
<template>
<section>
<form >
<div class="is-size-3" >
<div class="has-text-centered">
<h1 class="title is-3">User registration</h1>
<form class="box">
<div class="field">
<label class="label">Username</label>
<div class="control">
<input
class="input is-small"
size="5"
type="text"
v-model="enteredTask"
placeholder="name"
/>
<!-- #keyup.enter="enterUser" -->
</div>
</div>
<button class="button is-primary" #click="enterUser">OK</button>
<p v-if="enteredTask.length > 10">input is too long.</p>
</form>
</div>
</div>
</form>
</section>

Use the column system of bulma: https://bulma.io/documentation/columns/basics/
You could do something like this:
<div class="columns">
<div class="column is-4 is-offset-4">
<div class="field">
<div class="control">
<input class="input" type="text" />
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
Whenever I open the component, the previous information that I've typed still remains in the Input Boxes. I have three input box. One is not inside a form tag and the other two are inside a form tag. How do we clear the Input Boxes when I open the component? I tried using this.form.reset(); but it does not work.

I have two modals in my page and I need a way to listen to 'ok' event when pressing ok button on first modal and respond by opening the another modal.
There are no examples in the documentation:
https://bootstrap-vue.js.org/docs/components/modal/
I wanted to use this listener but nothing is explained and I couldn't find out what is what here.
export default {
mounted() {
this.$root.$on('bv::modal::show', (bvEvent, modalId) => {
console.log('Modal is about to be shown', bvEvent, modalId)
})
}
}
This is the relevant part of my code:
<div>
<b-modal id="modal-center-add-post" style="width: 120px" centered class="h-50 d-inline-block min-vw-100" ok-title="next" >
<add-post></add-post>
</b-modal>
</div>
<div>
<b-modal id="modal-center-add-content" style="width: 120px"
centered class="h-50 d-inline-block min-vw-100"
ok-only ok-title="Create" >
<add-content></add-content>
</b-modal>
</div>
and add-post component code is
<template>
<form>
<div class="form-group row">
<label for="title"
class="col-sm-2 col-form-label">
Title
</label>
<div class="col-sm-10">

class="form-control"
id="title"
placeholder="Title">

<div class="form-group row">
<label for="chooseTopic"

<fieldset class="form-group">

</div>
</div>
</fieldset>
</form>
</template>
<script>
export default {
name: "AddPost",
data(){
return{
postingType:'',
isChecked:'video'
}
},
}

So when I click on ok (next) in add-post component I want the second modal to pop up.
it's right on the bottom of the documentation under Events
basicly use
#ok="yourOkFn"
I have some problem on how to display a bootstrap modal using vue.js and laravel 5.3. I just added the vue model inside blade.php but modal seems no working. Please see sample code below:
html:
<div id="project">
<button class="btn btn-primary" #click="showModal = true"><i class="icon-plus"></i> Add new</button>
<!-- Modal -->
<div class="modal fade in" tabindex="-1" role="dialog" aria-labelledby="myModalLabel">
<div class="modal-dialog" role="document">
<div class="modal-content">
<div class="modal-header">
<button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-label="Close"><span aria-hidden="true">×</span></button>
<h4 class="modal-title" id="myModalLabel">Add Project</h4>
</div>
<div class="modal-body">
<form>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-12">
<div class="form-group">
<input type="text" name="title" class="form-control" required="required" placeholder="Project Title">
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-6">
<div class="form-group">
<input type="date" name="date" class="form-control" required="required" placeholder="Project Date">
</div>
</div>
<div class="col-md-6">
<div class="form-group">
<input type="text" name="category" class="form-control" required="required" placeholder="Project Category">
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-12">
<textarea name="desc" id="inputDesc" class="form-control" rows="3" placeholder="Project Description"></textarea>
</div>
</div>
<div class="row">
<div class="col-md-12">
<div class="form-group">
<div class="dropzone" id="project-thumbnail">
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</form>
</div>
<div class="modal-footer">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-default" data-dismiss="modal">Close</button>
<button type="button" class="btn btn-primary">Save changes</button>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
script:
new Vue({
el: '#project',
data: {
showModal: false
}
})
Just add show class and v-if="showModal" to your modal:
<div class="modal fade in show" tabindex="-1" role="dialog" v-if="showModal" aria-labelledby="myModalLabel">
Build something cool!
There is nothing in your code to trigger it. If you aren't use bootstrap's data-modal then you need to use the Javascript API to open it documented here:
http://getbootstrap.com/javascript/#via-javascript
I.e. you need a method on your Vue that calls:
$('#myModal').modal('show');
I'm attempting to render, side by side, form elements within a bootstrap modal dialog. Reason for this is that they're for all intents and purposes the same options, just representing options for different items and the current way it renders for users is basically:
<table>
<tr>
<td><!--Option Group 1--></td>
<td><!--Option Group 2--></td>
<td><!--Option Group 3--></td>
</tr>
</table>
So using the modal dialog example in the Bootstrap 3 documentation combined with the form-horizontal exampl in the Bootstrap 3 documentation plus some use of span to attempt to do a 50% width for each (and hopefully left-to-right tiling of the sections), I came out with:
<div class="modal fade" id="addModal" tabindex="-1" role="dialog" aria-labelledby="addLabel" aria-hidden="true">
<div class="modal-dialog modal-lg">
<div class="modal-content">
<div class="modal-header">
<button type="button" class="close" data-dismiss="modal" aria-hidden="true">×</button>
<h4 class="modal-title" id="addLabel">Title of Dialog</h4>
</div>
<form class="form-horizontal" role="form">
<div class="modal-body">
<div class="row">
<div class="span6">
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputUser" class="col-sm-1 control-label">User</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="text" class="form-control" id="inputUser" value="" disabled="disabled">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputPassword3" class="col-sm-1 control-label">Password</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="password" class="form-control" id="inputPassword3" placeholder="Password">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<div class="col-sm-offset-1 col-sm-5">
<div class="checkbox">
<label>
<input type="checkbox"> Remember me
</label>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="span6">
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputUser" class="col-sm-1 control-label">User</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="email" class="form-control" id="inputUser" value="" disabled="disabled">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<label for="inputPassword3" class="col-sm-1 control-label">Password</label>
<div class="col-sm-5">
<input type="password" class="form-control" id="inputPassword3" placeholder="Password">
</div>
</div>
<div class="form-group">
<div class="col-sm-offset-1 col-sm-5">
<div class="checkbox">
<label>
<input type="checkbox"> Remember me
</label>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div class="modal-footer">
<button type="button" class="btn btn-default" data-dismiss="modal">Cancel</button>
<button type="submit" class="btn btn-primary">Add Request</button>
</div>
</form>
</div>
</div>

The problem is that somewhere along the way, it is forcing each item to go new line so I have two "forms" that are 50% of the parent width (intentional) that are rendered vertically (not intentional). How can I make the two render side by side?
<div class="span6">
should be
<div class="col-sm-6">
2 times.
http://jsfiddle.net/isherwood/3zeMh/4
It needs a little further cleanup, but that's the primary issue. Here's one possible refinement: http://jsfiddle.net/isherwood/3zeMh/6
I'd probably make the labels wider and keep everything block for mobile, though.
