I have a Blazor application that uses an IdentityServer4 instance for authentication. it works perfectly.
But now I try to create the related Xamarin application, so...
About the web app, I have
After the login, the app uses the field 'Client.RedirectUri' (From Identity server Client) to redirect to 'https://www.myapp.com/signin-oidc'
Once I register, I have a button that redirects to the home page 'https://www.myapp.com'
About the Xamarin app
It uses a web view to navigate to the identity server, and the RedirectUri is 'myapp://callback'.
The mobile app can handle this callback.
When registering, it returns to the home page, but it is the "web home page". I should use the 'myapp://callback' instead to allow the Xamarin app to returns to its home page.
So, the problem is that I do not find such a feature for register (only for login & log out)
So, how can I do to force my web app to call the 'myapp://callback' instead of 'https://www.myapp.com' ?

I have built a web app for our sales team.
The web app is currently using oAuth web server flow in order to authenticate with Salesforce.
Everything is working fine when running it on a separate tab.
We recently wanted to add some functionality from within Salesforce specific objects and display information from our web app.
So I've built an aura component displaying an Iframe with the URL from our web app.
Unfortunately, it crashes with a console error
Refused to frame 'https://***.my.salesforce.com/' because an ancestor violates the following Content Security Policy directive: "frame-ancestors 'none'".
So I went to Salesforce's login page and indeed, there is a policy header that prevents it from being loaded from within an Iframe.
What is the correct way to authenticate the user with Salesforce in this situation?
Thank you very much
If you are calling a web app inside of an Iframe(Aura component) it would require the Salesforce domain calling it to be whitelisted in the web app.
I’ve been using Auth0 in my React web app. I also have a rule that works with new user sign ups. In my web (React) app, I use the Lock library and everything works fine.
Now, I created a React Native mobile app and because I have a custom login/sign up UI, I had to use the API method as opposed to using an Auth0 library such as Lock, etc.
My SignUp API calls work fine and create new users but my rule is NOT working with API calls. I checked to see if rules apply only to my web app but I don’t see any setting for that so I assume all rules should work for all apps that appear on my dashboard – including my new React Native mobile app.
The rule I created on Auth0 creates and assigns a new my_app_id to the new user. This rule has worked flawlessly with all sign ups coming from my web app which uses the Lock library but it doesn't seem to be firing when a new sign up comes in through the sign up API end point.
Is there anything I need to do so that my rule will work with my API calls?
Rules only run after a successful authentication event. This would not include a successful signup endpoint call, where no credentials are authenticated.
The recommended way to hook to a signup would be through a registration hook.
I am building an app using .Net Core with VueJs along with JavascriptServices&NodeServices for ServerSideRendering, and Identity as auth mechanism.
Scenario :
I navigate to /details page - having some hidden info because the user is not logged in (so, User.Identity.Name) is null.
I click login, a pop-up shows up, I enter my credentials, and after the AJAX call is made to auth the user, I do a full refresh of the page using location.reload(true).
This works on chrome desktop but on mobile devices it doesn't; on mobile browsers it works if I "fake navigate away" meaning that I go back one page and then come back (so I don't trigger a SSR).
Does anybody have an idea why this doesn't work?
Is it possible configure my firebase project so that if a user is on mobile and they need to log in, they are redirected to the facebook mobile app instead of the facebook website in their browser?. I thought iOS would automatically intercept the link but it just takes you to the facebook site. Users with the app installed might not already be logged in through their browser since they are used to using the app and i'd like to avoid the extra login step for them
First of all, my simple purpose is to add a Facebook login button to my web site. So I go to the login button description.
I must be thick headed, but I cannot get an APP ID. Under the "Authentication" writeup it says, "The JavaScript SDK requires that you register your website with Facebook to get an App ID (or appId)." Clicking on "Register Your Website" takes me to the APPS page. And since the login button is indicated under "Websites", I click that and it just takes me to another page that says I must register my website. I am ready to pull out what hair I have left.
What am I missing? Do I have to create a "new" app? I can't call it login since apparently that already exists.
You need to create an app here:
http://developers.facebook.com/
Click on Apps -> Create New App
Give the app a name etc the you will need to add your websites URL into the Website section.
