Hi I have use video js and videojs-contrib-eme to play encoded media which is delivering from a cdn. Right now everything works fine in chrome but in Safari for some encoded videos, the duration jumps directly from a higher value to 0. This is for HLS mode video.
Tried upgrading video js versions but nothing worked
I am trying to play a video file having Size: 2.1 GB, Duration: 06:10:58.17 and Bitrate: 797 kb/s
The file is in S3 storage and after downloading the video plays fine on VLC player desktop but not in html5 player.
In Chrome nothing happens as file doesn't exists:
In Firefox it keeps on loading and nothing happens:
The videos were created by Wowza and all the videos having duration more than 3 hours were not playing in html5 player. So, I have used wowza player to play these videos and it's working fine.
I am using JWplayer to stream a video that is hosted on Amazon S3, but it won't play on Android devices.
It works fine on PC, Mac and iPhones/iPads.
I have tested with Firefox, Google Chrome and Safari.
I have no idea to what could be wrong and I would really appreciate any input.

I'm testing some videos using "Video For Everybody" but for some reason my mp4 will not play in Safari. I also noticed that the Big Buck Bunny videos that VFE uses as the default are also not playing for me in Safari. Am I the only one having this issue?

I have iPhone 4 and iPad with 6.0.1, and I have a little app ive created which let you capture a short video, 30 seconds max, and upload it to my server. When Im trying to access the video, I can't open it. I see a "play" button with a line on it, so it says I can't play it.
The wired thing is that I tried to play the video while I'm on 3G and not on WIFI, and it worked.
I've tried using mp4, m4v, m4a, mov, and nothing works.
I don't have any problem with my router and any other videos app like YouTube or opening video from Facebook - works.
