Current version of Anypoint Studio (6.6.5 and 7.6.0 at this time) do not support Java 11 to start the IDE. You should use AdoptOpenJDK 8, though another Java/OpenJDK 8 will probably work as well. After it starts you can configure Java 11 to run a Mule 4.2.0 or later version projects. Earlier versions of Mule don't support Java 11. That means that any project in Studio 6.x is not compatible with Java 11 either, because it only runs Mule 3.x applications.
As a sidenote, if you are still using Mule 3.x, then I recommend to download Studio 6.6.5 as a new install, because of the number of fixes since Studio 6.4.2. It can't be upgraded inside Studio.

Can I use Anypoint Studio 6.0 and 7 at the same time?

We have projects going on and we are developing on AS 6 and I want to test AS 7.0 without breaking the 6 version. Can I run them at the same time? If not should I uninstall 7.0 version and install 6 again when I am done with 7.0 version?
more than Anypoint studio, I would care about which version of mule runtime you are using.
in the latest anypoint version 6.x there is mule runtime 3.9.0
in the latest one for 7. there is mule runtime 4.1.1.
you can install previous mule runtime version from the menu (install new software and add this url: http://studio.mulesoft.org/r5/studio-runtimes/)
If you are on Windows, you can go simply install into two separate folders.
If you are on Linux, I suggest you have two separate installations of eclipse (just unzip eclipse into two separate folders) and install the studio versions as plugins, for example, see this from MuleSoft documentation.
Yes you can have both Anypoint Studio 6 and 7 installed on your PC. They should be in separate install folders. Make sure the Anypoint Studio 7 points to JDK 1.8 or higher version.

Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse does not work for JDK 1.7

I need to install OEPE into Eclipse STS (luna) using JDK 1.7. I did this 2 months ago without a problem but had to recently reinstall. I get the error, 'Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse requires Java 8 or higher'. I need to find the older version of OEPE that works with JDK 1.7.
I saw that the current OEPE installs 'Oracle WebLogic Scripting Tools' and 'Oracle WebLogic Server Tools' with version 7.3.4. I remember that when I previously (successfully) installed OEPE into STS, the versions for these were 7.3.3. I googled and found Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse 12.1.3.4 and installed it from there. I saw that the versions of the above 2 items are now 7.3.3 but ... I still receive the same error.
Note:
- STS: Version: 3.6.4.RELEASE Build Id: 201503100339 Platform: Eclipse Luna SR1 (4.4.2)
- My weblogic install is weblogic 12c
Any help?
Thanks,
Bill

Use older version of Mule CE ESB with AnypoinyStudio

Summary
Is it possible to use AnypointStudio together with an older version of Mule ESB Community edition, more precisely Mule ESB CE 3.3.x?
Longer description
I have a server running on Mule CE 3.3.1, and I need to do development on the project. The old version of Mule Studio that used 3.3.1 CE is no longer available. I've been in touch with Mulesoft directly, and they don't have any old build of Mule Studio available either.
The newer Anypoint Studio allows you to download an older version of the ESB and use that instead. However, the download site that adds a new runtime to the Studio only has versions 3.5 and 3.4 as choices. The 3.3.1 ESB is available as a separate download on Mulesoft's site, but I'm not sure how to integrate this with the Studio properly.
So:
Is there some way to use the Anypoint Studio together with ESB 3.3.x CE, or
Is there somewhere I can find an older version of MuleStudio which uses ESB 3.3.x, or
Do I have to migrate my project to ESB 3.4 CE and update the server in order to set up a new development environment for it?
Any help is much appreciated!
I'm afraid it there is no other solution than using an older MuleStudio. The container bundles that Studio uses are not exactly the standalone version of Mule. They do contain extra stuff to help Studio to understand the DSL, how to start/stop, etc.
Every new version of Studio supports a number of old versions of the ESB, but not all of them.
As Victor said, you cannot use Anypoint Studio with older versions. But you could try Mule IDE that was the IDE for those old versions. For sure it won't be as nice as Anypoint Studio, but you can give a try.
Older versions of MuleStudio are listed in the link:
http://mule-studio-releases.s3.amazonaws.com/
Just copy the and append it to the above URL to download the file
Example:
http://mule-studio-releases.s3.amazonaws.com/1.3.1-01-GA-CE/MuleStudio-CE-for-macosx-64bit-1.3.1-201209061215.zip
Click on Install New Software -> Work With (select drop down) ->Mule ESB Runtimes for Anypoint Studio.
You can see older versions of Mule Runtime.
Install them and use them in your project configuration.

Rational Application developer 9.0 and worklight studio 6.0 run android application Errors occurred during the build

I try using Rational Application developer 9.0 and worklight studio 6.0 run android application. But have below
Errors occurred during the build.
Errors running builder 'Android Package Builder' on project 'HelloTestHelloWorldAndroid'.
sun/security/x509/X500Name
Before see many answer is about JDK version is not mathch. I have download JDK 1.7 and install setting the JAVA_Home. And someone another method is change eclipse.ini setting. The RAD eclipse.ini is different with eflipse juno version. So i try many method unitl now the error is persists.
I checked around on this and here is the info I got:
The issue is either you have the wrong JDK on the system or have the correct JDK but wrong JDK first in the classpath look-up.
A) Make sure you just have one JDK on the system and it is 32-bit SUN JDK - since Android SDK depends on this JDK
B) Find all other JDKs on the system and uninstall them
C) Make sure you have JDK from Sun and not JRE.

Can Worklight Studio 6.0 and Worklight Studio 6.1 be installed on the same machine

I have a laptop running Windows 7 Pro. Is it safe to install both WL studio 6.0 and 6.1 on the same laptop? If it is safe to have both versions installed can the Android SDKs be shared between the installs or should each version of WL studio have its own install of the Android SDKs.
Thank you for any advice you can provide.
You can easily install multiple versions of WL studio on 1 machine, just use a fresh install of Eclipse for each version. Creating separate workspaces inside of eclipse will have the same version of WL across all workspaces so you will need multiple Eclipse instances to accomplish this. In regards to your Android SDK question you can point each eclipse instance to the same Android SDK, but you will need to install the android tools on each version in order to work properly.
Please make sure you are running the latest 6.0.0.x ifix when attempting to run at the same time as some issues were resolved in this version. If you are an IBM WL customer please request the latest fix pack containing this fix.
Also, ensure you install the right version of Eclipse for each Worklight Studio version. Worklight 6.0 only runs on eclipse 4.2.2 (Juno SR2), while Worklight 6.1 runs on either eclipse 4.2.2 or eclipse 4.3.1 (Kepler SR1). See System Requirements for detailed requirements for all Worklight versions.
