I have a script that will print everything in my "Downloads" folder, the VBA script did work until I added a bit of code to "Fit Columns to Width" so that I could see all data before it printed, now it says "Subscript out of range" once it opens the first file in the "Downloads" folder, I think this is because the "Sheet1" is never called "Sheet1" it is instead named the first 15 characters of the actual file name.
Is anybody able to offer any assistance?

set the wb variable when you open it instead of using activeworkbook, and include the sh variable instead of using activesheet, and put that in your loop, so you dont need to know the name.

I'm attempting to write a program to loop through a directory of excel files and copy a range into a "Master Workbook". When I run the program I am prompted with "Code execution has been interrupted". If I select continue the code will successfully run but then a "run-time error '-2147221080' Automation error" appears.
The line that causes the error is:

You might want to check for the ForecastFileName being False, that is when the users x's out, you will also want to do a little validation the wb sheet is in the right format by checking column headers ect or you will wind up crashing.

The loop works fine but it refuses to save the workbook on the path I have specified.

Look at your error message: Object variable or With block variable not set
It looks like you aren't able to save because you never instantiate your wb variable. Therefore wb = Nothing. You can't perform SaveAs on nothing. Try adding Set wb = ThisWorkbook below your declarations like so:

It seems that I needed to set the workbook properly (Set wb = ThisWorkbook).
I also needed to change ws.name into sheetname.

I am trying to do a loop to unfilter the column A for all the workbooks (as they are the same, alwyas column A).

I am trying it on 4 workbooks in the test folder! only the first one is unfiltered while the others are not. It seems like the loop is repeting on only the first workbook in the folder.
So with this loop no error message but the result is unsatisfing.

The Workbook.Open() method needs a full path and the filename.
Replace
Set y = Workbooks.Open(path)
With
Set y = Workbooks.Open(FolderPath & myfile)
and you should be good to go.
You don't need the path variable.
Edit: I minimized your whole script to the bare minimum to loop through all ".xls" files and open all off them within a folder:

The above opens each Excel file in C:\TestDirectory\ on my machine.
N.b. make sure you have the "\" at the end of the FolderPath variable, otherwise it'll look for C:\TestDirectorySomeFileName.xlsx which is not going to work.
I'm using a VBA code to cycle through excel files in a directory and pull information from one worksheet and paste into a newly created worksheet. I'm also naming my new worksheets (in my destination file) by the name in one of the cells in the source file.
My code works for the first loop but fails/stops in the second loop (VBA points to an error in the Dest.Sheets.Add(After:=Dest.Sheets(Dest.Sheets.Count)).Name = Sheetname line. I need to loop through 75 of these files and I'm unsure of what's going on because it works correctly for the first file.

where you make sure that
any opened workbook has a "Summary" worksheet
you name worksheets in your destination workbook such as not to have duplicates: if you happen to deal with say three worksheets named "Sheet5" then your destination workbook will have added worksheets "Sheet5", "Sheet5-001" and "Sheet5-002".
You're issue may be that when you are adding the sheet from the second workbook, it has the same name as the sheet from the first workbook. You could check if the sheet exists and add a number to it. The post below might help.

I am writing a macro where I take data from a CSV and copy it to another Excel file (not the current or active file).
What is the code to take the copied data and send it to another file in the same directory.
This is my code, I have commented out the lines that cause the macro not to work. I want to set the variable wshT to Sheet1 of the WTF.xlsx file, which is in the same directory but not the active workbook. I have not opened that one. So the goal is to use this macro to copy extra data from the CSV and send it to the WTF.xlsx file and save it as something new, in this case "BBB". Any help is much appreciated. When I uncomment those lines, errors pop up.

Another alternative would be to use the VBA equivalent of Data ► Get External Data ► From Text but you should probably know the number and type of fields being brought in with the CSV beforehand. This is certainly the preferred method if the CSV data is being incorrectly interpreted by the temp worksheet you are creating by opening the CSV as a workbook.
