Which tools did you use to deploy your tabular model? (VS?) I use TabularEditor https://tabulareditor.com/ and I never have a problem seeing changes.
To clear cache on Tabular (and MultiDimensional), you can run this XMLA command:

We've made use of environment specific migrations for things like seeding data, data correction, applying table grants. There are times when we'd like to take a copy of production, for example, and import it to another lower environment, either as a periodic refresh, or to start a new test environment. However, as expected, we end up with various failures like Detected applied migration not resolved locally and Detected resolved migration not applied to database. I see there are various flags (ignoreIgnoredMigrations, ignoreMissingMigrations and outOfOrder) to allow us to bypass these issues.
Are there best practices for handling scenarios like I described? Is there a way to run an environment specific migration that doesn't file an entry in the flyway_schema_history table? Other approaches to this issue that I haven't mentioned?

We have used ignoreMissingMigrations as one approach around this issue.
We are facing an issue with Camunda orchestrator restarts.
We lose all decision rules of DMNs after deploying new versions of processes.
Could you please suggest if possible an out of the box solution to save rules and reload them after restart, if not possible an explanation of how to do it is OK also ?

I guess you have one version of the dmn in your src/main/resources, so it's auto deployed on start ... and then deploy updated versions "on the fly" via REST.
You have to update the table in resources as well or disable auto-deployment to not overwrite your ad-hoc changes again.

Started BI Publisher about a week ago.
When working on a new data model, about one or two queries in, I get this error when I try to save:

I can no longer save my data model.
I tried deleting my queries, logging in and out, turning machine off and on, but no luck.
I'm currently resolved to saving all of my queries locally in notepad.
I can create a whole new data model and it will save fine, but then after two or three queries the same thing happens.
What's going on and why would anyone design such a confusing error message?

After restarting your server once you won't get this issue.It happens some time due to the connection problem.so restart should work for this.It resolved my problem.
None of the proposed solutions worked for me. I found out, on my own, that any unnecessary brackets around CASE in a select statement will cause this error. Remove the unnecessary brackets and the error goes away.
Oracle meta link Doc ID 2173333.1. In BI Publisher releases 11.1.1.8.x and up, there is an option to Manage Cache in the Administration section of BIP. This option was also added to 11.1.1.7 in patch 140715 (11.1.1.7.140715).
Clearing the object cache will resolve the saving errors:

Manage Cache

sometimes when working in rails, I work on several things at once using git branches
sometimes, I'd like to test new ideas by implementing them and testing how and if they work accordingly. This involves sometimes adding models and migrations.
When switching branches, however, the migrations were already migrated to the DB and they stay, causing problems later on..
Is there a way to work with several branches and each to have different migration files, and before starting to work on a branch to "soft reset" the db only to the current migration files without losing data?
Normally, in development, I need some sample data that I keep in seed.rb which enables me to recreate the db, its structure and the sample data with a rake task.
Another thing I did was to keep more than one database. I would then just manually change the entry in database.yml according to the current git branch.
I'm using MigratorDotNet to manage Rails-style migrations for my web app. I have a workflow where, if I delete all the tables in the database, I can access an installation view that will run MigratorDotNet and create all the necessary tables.
This works locally. For some reason, when I upload my code to my Arvixe hosting, the migrations just never run. I get this odd error:
There is already an object named 'SchemaInfo' in the database.
This is odd because, prior to running migrations, I manually deleted all the tables in the database (to make sure it wasn't left over from a previous install).
My code essentially boils down to:
new Migrator.Migrator("SqlServer", connectionString.ToString(), migrationsAssembly).MigrateToLastVersion();
I've already verified by logging that the connection string is correct (production/hosting settings), and the assembly is correctly loaded (name and version).
Works locally, but not on Arvixe. How do I troubleshoot this?
This is a dark day.
It turns out (oddly) that the root cause was my hosting company used a schema other than dbo for my database. Because of this, the error message I saw (SchemaInfo already exists) was talking about their table.
My solution, unfortunately, was to rip out MigratorDotNet and go with FluentMigator instead. not only did this solve the problem, but it also gave me a more intelligible error message (one referring to the schema names).
While it doesn't seem possible to auto-set the schema, and while I need to switch the schema on my dev vs. production machine, it's still a solvable problem (and a better API, IMO). I googled, but did not find any way to change the default schema in migratordotnet.
