User Properties has been deprecated in Facebook Analytics - facebook-android-sdk

We are trying to integrate Facebook analytics into our apps and we notice that user properties has been deprecated on 22 Jun 2020. But doc doesn't not say anything about the alternative way. Is there any means to add new user properties like this in Firebase analytics?

Firebase Analytics: is it using IDFA on iOS?

Given the upcoming iOS 14 permission prompt for apps that use the IDFA identifier,
I am wondering if Firebase Analytics and Firebase Auth do need to access the IDFA in order to operate.
In such case, are we then required to state that the app is using IDFA when we publish it on the AppStore?
The question have been asked in a git issue on the firebase repo and basically the answer is yes if the AdSupport framework is linked to your app. The conversation is actually very interesting and links to another similar discussion started some years ago.
So at the moment if you use Firebase Analytics and your app links against AdSupport, you should indeed check the "my app uses IDFA" checkbox in the App Store.
By default, no*.
You can choose to use IDFA by calling the ATT (App Tracking Transparency) framework. *If you don't call ATT, the IDFA returned by AdSupport will be 00000000-0000-0000-0000-000000000000.
However, starting in 2021, you can include the AdSupport framework and Analytics won't collect the IDFA unless you present the AppTrackingTransparency dialogue. source
here is the quote from Firebase Documentation about Firebase Analytics and IDFA for iOS 14 or later
Firebase SDKs do not access IDFA, though some have integrations with
Google Analytics that may involve IDFA access.
so by default Firebase Analytics will not require IDFA. IDFA is required if you need to get more accurate data related to ads and marketing (attribution data & conversion tracking) from your linked Google (Firebase) Analytics.
Analytics event logging, event reporting, and conversion measurement
are unaffected, but attribution is impacted if IDFA is not accessible

setting user id with Facebook java script SDK

We are having a hybrid android/iOS app.
Majority of our source code is with HTML/JS.
We are using Google analytics already.
For better user demographics , marketing & re-marketing we want to use Facebook analytics for apps.
Identifying users based on our custom user Id is critical to us. It helps us unify the user behaviour on app & html/js.
I can see that with the android & iOS Facebook SDK we can set the user ID.
Does FB javascript SDK provide api to set user ID?
User properties are not yet supported by the JS SDK.
User properties are now supported by the JS SDK. Documentation is here: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/analytics/properties

New API for G Suite Admin Console?

Is there New API replacing the current API:
https://developers.google.com/admin-sdk/admin-settings/
If not, why are they removing such a feature?
Warning: The Admin Settings API is deprecated and is scheduled to be sunset on October 30, 2017.
In addition, the current API does not support the full functions of the G Suite Admin console. For example, there is nothing on Inbound Mail Gateway and nothing on Managing API Access in the Security Settings
Thank you very much!
Since it is schedule to be sunset on October 30, 2017, the Google still has 7 months to annonce if they will replace it with another API or they will totally shut down this API. I suggest you to always check the Google Developers Blog about the announcement for their API release and updates.

Is there a test account for Instagram

Facebook provides developers with a test account for testing purpose, does Instagram provide any test account similar to what Facebook provides?
Instagram does not provide test accounts in the same sense Facebook does.
Instagram provides an API Console (powered by Apigee) to test your API calls. For calls requiring an authenticated user you would need to use an existing Instagram account.
UPDATE
Instagram now provides a Sandbox mode for all new applications.
From Instagram
Apps created on or after Nov 17, 2015 can take advantage of Sandbox mode right away. Apps created before this date will only be able to use Sandbox mode after June 1, 2016, but can still start submitting for review. On June 1, 2016 any app that has not been reviewed and approved will be set to sandbox mode.
More info in the Instagram docs.
You can create a Facebook test user, Login on Facebook and then sign up with Facebook test user on Instagram.com
This works for me!

Are the Google, Youtube, Blogger API Linked Somehow?

If I have a user log in to my site with their Google account, using the OAuth2 method, can I use that token to get the users Youtube/Blogger info if they have those accounts linked?
I've read the Youtube and Blogger API's and they both use AuthSub, and are currently compatible with version 2 and older, while Google is version 3.
Do I have to make separate log ins for Blogger and Youtube or is it possible to retrieve that info from the logged in Google account by adding the two scopes to the Google permissions somehow?
Thanks,
Goran
