I am working on a trading bot and I wanted to train it by getting a list of my order history from Binance for a specific period of time. I looked at the API documentation here, but it seems that I am always required to provide a ticker symbol. While iterating over all tickers is an option, it will take forever to complete (I'm trying to get data for a full year). Can anyone point me to a less stupid way of doing this?
P.s. I also looked into allOrdersList but that only provides OCO orders and that is different than regular orders. See here. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
It's not currently possible (still, as of June 2021).
Many developers are complaining about the lack of such a commonly-used endpoint. See https://dev.binance.vision/t/fetch-all-account-orders/279
The only workarounds seem to be:
Looking at the user's current coin balances, and iterating over those relevant trading pairs (although this will miss the trades where the balance is now zero)
Iterate over every symbol offered by Binance – and there are a lot! This is ridiculous, and requires careful management of rate limits, but appears to be the only comprehensive solution.
Add your voice to the thread above, so that perhaps Binance might implement a more sane endpoint.
Loop over all symbols once to get your entire order history. Then save the distinct symbols to a file/database. Then every time you make a order and it's on a new symbol append that symbol to your file/database.

I know how to calculate the change if I need to. I'm just not seeing how I can get the data needed to calculate it (original stock price) or just the percent change itself. Their website shows the percent change in example images on the home page, so it seems like it should be possible. I'm not very versed in Stock Market stuff, so it may entirely be my ignorance here.
I really only need end of day data but I've tried numerous endpoints, read through the docs, etc. I'm just stuck, any help is greatly appreciated.
Hello World,
I'm in research mode for one of feature to be built in our software and there one new thing that we have never faced.
The thing is, on one form we have a drop down with list of items. User can select default which means all items needs to be considered or else he can selectively opt for certain list items.
Actually the form is related to filter functionality depending upon users input the data is going to get filtered and displayed on UI.
The main problem we are trying to solve is suppose user selects default, which means all list items ID's are gonna be considered in POST call of API. The list can be huge, say 1 to 1K and above too.
So under such circumstances we can build the query string but, it seems its gonna be so huge. I have also studied that certain browsers support limited query string as per their standard limits.
So currently I have following doubts in mind.
Will shortening of query string work here ?
By which technique it can be handled efficiently ?
What performance considerations I need to take care during during so ?
Any suggestions or thoughts are welcome. That would boast my software design thinking.
based on what I understand from your question, here is my opinion:[if I understood wrong, please correct me, so I can help you]
You need to send query in URL and not in body or using JSON!is that correct?
I think you don't need to send every one of the selected items one by one!
If there are selected in serial, you can perform a range in your query!
Like http://abcd/test?id=1-43,6-765(take ID as string and then export the useful data in back-end) with this approach, you can shorten your query!
And also think about the database too (if there is any).querying this much data is use a lot of IO and make query low performance.
As a way to score points for the study I’m doing, as well as out of interest into databases and wanting to help my team I’m trying to build a capacity planning tool in MS Access 2007. I work in a department that handles registering and supporting tenders. I have attached two pictures of what I’m trying to do here.
I’ve already spent some weeks making multiple iterations with colleagues who are involved and help write VBA and SQL (out of interest, wanting to learn something or otherwise. Our core business, however, isn’t developing). The primary goal of the database is as follows:
A user can access, create and modify “cases” that correlates to a case ID that we use in a different system.
A user can write down his capacity per week per year for a case.
multiple users can assign themselves to a case.
Users can leave messages (records) for other users to see on a case
Metadata can be attached to the case
The main problem we seem to be running into is that whenever a user tries through to edit an existing case through the overview, the case data no longer “complies” with entries elsewhere. Forcing updates through visual basic also seems to not have worked so far.
Adding to the complexity: most of the names we use are in dutch.
Here is an overview of the relations.

Here is a screenshot of the case overview as seen by a user.

Main question:
How can I make entire records change for multiple users based on the input of one user.
In compliance with the guidelines regarding asking subjective questions I’m trying to be a bit more precise here:
Additionally I’m uncertain:
whether it is our approach that is wrong,
if perhaps we’re overlooking a glaring issue, or
if we should redesign this from scratch with a different layout.
Any help specifying where we should look or what would be advisable to do would be much appreciated!
Kind regards,
Timo
Hi there working with bigcommerce Im looking to get the following style of break down on each category page
Essentially making a category version of;
%%Panel.HomeFeaturedProducts%%
%%Panel.SideTopSellers%%
%%Panel.HomeNewProducts%%
Ive gone ahead and attempted this however they seem to be pulling in from global values, and there dose not seem to me much option to break these down or limit the category, has anyone done this previously and if so how?
developerscott is correct in those panels not offering contextually unique data. I'd recommend looking into Unbxd. It has a 30 day trial so you can either investigate their programmatic solution or use it in place of making your own.
We are in the process of deciding if we go for Omniture or Google Analytics.
Some information regarding GA seems outdated on the Net, and it is not easy to find the relevant answers to our questions.
In particular, I would appreciate some pointers regarding, in Google Analytics
is there a limitation of the number of custom variables?
is there a limitation of the type of variables that can be used?
and besides,
what is your experience in the delay between the moment the data is recorded GA side, and the time it is made available to the GA account (read 2~10 hours?)
Thanks
There are 5 custom variable slots. Any given pageview/visit/visitor can only occupy up to 5. In theory, you could have thousands of different variables, but the slots are overriding. ie, you can't store 'Is Logged In' in the same slot as 'Is Paid User' if you want to be able to track both on the same pageview, session, or user. But, you could use the same slot for mutually-exclusive variables that you know won't ever overlap (like, 'banned user' and 'Admin').
There's also a 6th possible variable value known as "User Defined Variable" (called by _setVar), which is the deprecated ancestor to Custom Variables, but for backwards compatibility reasons will likely always be around. It is a single slot, visitor level, that lets you define one key-value pair.
The 'type' is basically any key-value string pair, with a limitation that the combined length of any given custom variable's key and value cannot exceed 128 characters. You can set the scope of the custom variable to be at the page-level (pageview), session-level (visit), or user-level (visitor).
The length of time for data processing is inconsistent. Sometimes, the most basic data from pageviews, transactions and events appears within minutes, but then some of the accompanying data (source information, custom variable values, etc) does not process for another few hours. Only on vary rare occasions does it take longer than 24 hours for a full snapshot of a day to be available.
I would like to add that GA and SC are in no way comparable products when you are talking about measurement you want to base decisions on.
GA wins hands down on setup and configuration (and no cost, especially no extra costs), but if you want to measure anything on visitor level, need real time figures or want to have any support, choose something else than GA. Based on you question and the very informative answer provided, I think you did.
In Google Universal Analytics, you can set up to 20 "Custom Dimensions" and "Custom Metrics", see https://developers.google.com/analytics/devguides/collection/analyticsjs/custom-dims-mets
These enable you do just about everything you currently do with custom variables. Only downside is that they are not displayed in any standard reports, but are very powerful when used in custom reports.
