ActiveMQ ProtocolException Invalid message encoding - activemq

I am able to publish & subscribe messages through ActiveMQ broker without using SSL.
Now I want to use ActiveMQ with SSL.I am using self-signed certificates.
I followed the steps given in this link : http://activemq.apache.org/how-do-i-use-ssl.html
for setting up my broker.
As I have to use the certificates in .pem format for my embedded device,I have converted certificates into .pem format.
When I try to connect esp32 / MQTTfx (desktop application) to the broker I get the below error message from the broker:
2020-06-15 12:10:14,037 | DEBUG | Transport Connection to: tcp://---.---.1.5:35182 failed: java.net.ProtocolException: Invalid message encoding | org.apache.activemq.broker.TransportConnection.Transport | ActiveMQ Transport: tcp:///---.---.1.5:35182#1883

ERROR --- MqttFX ClientModel : Please verify your Settings (e.g. Broker Address, Broker Port & Client ID) and the user credentials!
Using MQTT version 3.1.1 on both broker and client.
So what is that I am missing?
Any help on this will be much appreciated.
Thanks.

Just to close the loop on this one. The user was attempting to connect either from a TCP connection to an SSL connection or from SSL to the TCP accepting port on the broker which caused this message to be given due to the contents of the binary payload not being able to be decoded into valid protocol types.
Connecting to the correct port resolves this issue.

Pulsar with source connector Rabbitmq error

I am trying to use as source the RabbitMQ for Apache Pulsar.
I run locally the binaries of Pulsar and I use the offical RabbitMQ connector. The RabbitMQ is running in server. For few moments can I see RabbitMQ dashboard that Pulsar is connect but the I get an error in Pulsar,

My yaml file for rabbitmq is,
configs:
host: "my.server"
port: 5672
virtualHost: "/"
username: "user"
password: "pass"
queueName: "topic"
connectionName: "my-connection"
requestedChannelMax: 0
Any ideas?
Need to do something additional to my rabbitmq maybe?
I have seen that happen before sometimes with disk errors, sometimes with the wrong Java version. Make sure you are using the correct Java version for your version of Pulsar. Which version of Pulsar are you using? If it's the current github use JDK 17, otherwise probably JDK 8 or 11 are your best choice.
Is Pulsar running?

Apache ActiveMQ always failed to restart (Address already in use)

Apache ActiveMQ 5.14.4
I've configured for JDBC persistence.
activemq.xml
<persistenceAdapter>
<jdbcPersistenceAdapter cleanupPeriod="0" dataSource="#oracle-ds"/>
</persistenceAdapter>
<import resource="activemq-jdbc.xml"/>
activemq-jdbc.xml

<property name="username" value="XXX"/>
<property name="password" value="XXX"/>
<property name="poolPreparedStatements" value="true"/>
</bean>
</beans>
Step to reproduced
Start ActiveMQ by run activemq.bat and wait until it's initialized completed
Use SQL Developer to kill the session of ActiveMQ.
Wait around 10 seconds and the SQL exception occurs in activemq.log
ActiveMQ try to restart itself but failed to start because port 8161 (ActiveMQ Admin page) is already in use.
ActiveMQ is stopped.
I understand that when the exception occurs on ActiveMQ then it's trying to restart itself. But with this scenario it's always failed to start because "Address already in use".
Then it's required me to manually to stop and start it again to bounce the process.
My questions are:
Is this the expected behavior when the exception is occur and then ActiveMQ restart itself?
Can I increase retry count or retry with delay?
Port 8161 is not successfully closed during restart process?
How to avoid the exception "Address already in use"

What new or additional configurations/code do I need to include to turn this EC2 checking off in my local environment when running against localstack?
This is a warning message logged directly from AWS SDK and inside Spring Cloud AWS we have no control over it. Following documentation, just turn this warning off by adding a line to your application.properties config file:
logging.level.com.amazonaws.util.EC2MetadataUtils=error

Call SSL endpoint from spring-boot app

I have a spring-boot intranet webapp which need not be ssl secured as it is used within company.
The app calls an external https endpoint. To call the https endpoint I used InstallCert.java to generate a new trust store and import the certificate needed to call the https url using the procedure shown here.
https://www.mkyong.com/webservices/jax-ws/suncertpathbuilderexception-unable-to-find-valid-certification-path-to-requested-target/
Doing >java InstallCert hosturl generated jssecacerts trust store and imported the certificate
I have the following as my application.proeprties
server.port: 8080
server.contextPath=/mpservice
management.port: 9001
management.address: 127.0.0.1
logging.file=mpservice.log
logging.level.root=INFO
logging.level.org.springframework.web=DEBUG
server.ssl.key-store=C:/Users/cho4157/Downloads/InstallCert/jssecacerts
server.ssl.key-store-password=changeit
server.ssl.client-auth=need
server.ssl.trust-store=C:/Users/cho4157/Downloads/InstallCert/jssecacerts
server.ssl.trust-store-password=changeit
The tomcat server starts fine as the logs show below but When I hit the endpoints the browser says that localhost didn't send any data.
2016-08-01 19:18:20.968 INFO 16944 --- [main] s.b.c.e.t.TomcatEmbeddedServletContainer : Tomcat started on port(s): 9001 (https)

When I comment out server.ssl.* properties in application.properties everything works fine except posting to the https endpoint which throws the below exception as expected. Any suggestion is greatly appreciated.

I also tried setting following system properties
static
{
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStore","C:\\Users\\jojo\\Downloads\\InstallCert\\jssecacerts");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.trustStorePassword", "changeit");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStore", "C:\\Users\\jojo\\Downloads\\InstallCert\\jssecacerts");
System.setProperty("javax.net.ssl.keyStorePassword", "changeit");
}
even with the above piece of code I was getting javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException:
I have been trying to get this configuration working for the past 2 days with little success. Please help.
