After digging into the Freshworks and
roid Github, I had to update my App Module gradle file (app/build.gradle) to include freshdesk:freshchat in dependencies like this

The solution is to simply add a single line in dependencies the kotlin script runtime
Similar to here:

The issue was with my rootProject.name definition in settings.gradle
I had to change
rootProject.name='Cordova Alternative Pattern'
to

I am working on a react-native project and wanted to generate the signed apk for deployment on Play store. I am following the

But for signed apk, after generating "my-upload-key.keystore" and placing it in /android/app directory (inlcluding other settings as guided in docs.), whenever I run command

I managed to fix this by changing one line in node_modules/react-native-mauron85-background-geolocation/android/lib/build.gradle
from
compile 'com.android.support:support-v4:+'
to
compile 'com.android.support:support-v4:23.+'
