UWP SplitView: Push Content instead of shrink it on PaneOpen - xaml

I want the SplitView to push the content out of the window when the pane is opened, instead of shrinking it to still fit in the window. Another way to describe this would be, that I want the content to keep its width.

update KeyboardAvoidingView after a layout change

I have a form in my app that has a floating bar with buttons that animates into the view at the bottom of the window when the user makes any change to any of the data in the form. I have this bar rendering relative to the height of the window so it knows when the keyboard is open or closed and will attach to wherever the bottom of the view window is at any give time.
The issue I have is the form is wrapped in a KeyboardAvoidingView around the form with a behavior of padding and this all works great, however when I make my change and my floating button bar comes up, because the input is at the bottom of the window the bar now covers up the input I'm typing in.
I haven't been able to find a way to fix this yet. I tried disabling the KeyboardAvoidingView I assume that maybe I need to somehow tell the view about this bar that's covering up part of the view but I'm not sure how I do that.

OS X Application AutoLayout Scroll view

I am trying to make OS X application that has scroll view and 2 content views inside. I want to use auto layout to make user be able to make window smaller or bigger. If he makes it smaller scroll bars should appear and he needs to be able to scroll using them.
Content needs to be sticked to top of application window. If user makes window bigger then content then scroll bars need to disappear. Can someone help me how can i make this using constraints in interface builder.
I made something but when i make window bigger then content, content gets sticked to the bottom of window.

Can't seem to achieve the same effect on my slide menu as Any.Do

I am trying to create the same type of slide-up/pull-up menu (from the bottom) as the Any.do iPhone app, but not having any success.
The issue I am running into is the app was built with storyboards so I am thinking I might have to scratch that idea and use just code.
Any ideas?
There is no need to get rid of your storyboard to recreate this, that's what IBOutlets are for. Any way, it looks like this was made by creating a UIScrollView that takes up the entire screen. Then add a UITableView to the upper section of the scroll view. Mind you in order for this to work, you'll need to disable scrolling on the scroll view in the background.
From there you can programmatically add the other elements to the scroll view to be rendered off screen, since there are only three they can probably just be buttons. And finally, since scrolling is disabled on the background scroll view you can add an image with a UISwipeGestureRecognizer at the bottom of the screen to manually change the scroll view's content offset property.

Changing what is loaded by a nib file

in my iPad application I have a panel of buttons, I have used an UIImageView as this panel and put buttons on top of it and created my nib file. in some views some button of this panel should not be displayed. so what i do is removing those buttons and decreasing the height of the panel (a UIImageView) then reposition the button to take up the space of the removed button. I have created outlets to all of these.
Is this the way to do this? My problem is if I want to change the order my buttons are displayed at some point I can't do it by simply changing the nib file. I'll have to do some changes in the code as well.
In this case don't use the nib to position the buttons in the first place. It sounds like this is one of the occasional cases where you would be better off working solely from code.
Instead of having to worry about some sort of abstraction that protects your layout if you decide to reposition the buttons and about removing and repositioning buttons, you can just do the layout at runtime once your particular view knows what buttons it needs. Your code is already doing much of the work of layout already (removing and repositioning).

Full screen app with NSToolbar

This is hard for me to explain, so please bear with me for a minute.
In Xcode, if it is in full screen mode, showing the app's menu also moves the toolbar down. I have tried to make an NSView move and resize whenever the menu bar is shown, but I cannot figure out how to do it. I think this has something to do with and event, because setting struts and springs in Xcode does not make it move automatically. Can anybody help me figure out what the event is?
Edit: I just re-thought my question, and I have to make a correction. NSToolbar does this on it's own. I want a normal NSView to move and resize itself when the window goes into full screen mode.
I think you might be having the same issue as I was - if so, you need to call [NSToolbar setFullScreenAccessoryView:] on the "accessory view" you want to glue to the bottom of the NSToolbar.
Note that in windowed mode, your accessory view should take up space in the NSWindow's contentView just like any other view, but when you enter fullscreen mode you'll want to remove the accessory view somehow since Cocoa rips it out of your layout and leaves a gap unless you account for that.
I can certainly understand this issue being difficult to explain without having the background knowledge - I had the same problem. :)
