This is my input
{
"AccountId": "9834e8cb-275a-4bff-b362-f216e9653686",
"ContactId": "9834e8cb-275a-4bff-b362-f216e9653686",
"AuthenticationDetails": {
"AuthenticationId": "{{clientId}}",
"AuthenticationType": "Token"
}
}
This is my output
{
"orderedByContactId": "36b8e4da-94fd-4680-a2d3-6b128e4b2584",
"orderedForContactId": "9834e8cb-275a-4bff-b362-f216e9653686"
}
I need to create a test (postman) to ensure that the output value ("orderedForContactId") matches the input value ("ContactId"). Can someone help me out?
Existing tests are in the following format:
pm.test("Response should contain orderedForContactId",function(){
let jsonRespData = pm.response.json();
pm.expect(jsonRespData).to.have.property('orderedForContactId');
});
Use this as your test script
pm.test("Response should contain orderedForContactId",function(){
var requestJson= JSON.parse(pm.request.body.raw);
var contactId = requestJson.ContactId.toString();
var responseJson = pm.response.json();
var orderedForContactId = responseJson.orderedForContactId;
pm.expect(orderedForContactId ).to.equal(contactId);
});
I changed the input to be
{
"AccountId": "9834e8cb-275a-4bff-b362-f216e9653686",
"ContactId": "{{ContactId}}",
"AuthenticationDetails": {
"AuthenticationId": "{{clientId}}",
"AuthenticationType": "Token"
}
}
And added the ContactId to the environment file.
Then I created the test below:
pm.test("Input ContactId should equal orderedForContactId",function(){
let jsonRespData = pm.response.json().orderedForContactId;
pm.expect(jsonRespData).to.equal(pm.environment.get("ContactId"))
});

This error appears when I add the implementation ID generated when I select the test implementation option, in the google script
My api needs to receive: Page, user(constant value), token(constant value) and App(constant value)...
I don't know how it works, but I was hoping it wouldn't show errors, as I followed the documentation https://developers.google.com/looker-studio/connector/get-started

This is not working:
var jsonData = pm.response.json();
pm.environment.set("id", jsonData.id);
var jsonData = pm.response.json();
pm.environment.set("id", jsonData["urn:pearson:work:876fa82c-9ad7-49c3-80c9-02d3b4c84312"].id);
JsonData will have the full response , Id is inside "urn:pearson:work:876fa82c-9ad7-49c3-80c9-02d3b4c84312" field.
As it has special character you should call it as json[key] , then the next key which is id could be called as json.id, as it doesn't have any special characters
Update
for dynamic value use:
var jsonData = pm.response.json();
pm.environment.set("id", jsonData[Object.keys(jsonData)[0]].id);
The above will select the first property , but if you want to make sure it is the right one then use array.find():
let jsonData = pm.response.json();
let prop = Object.keys(jsonData)
prop = prop.find(element => element.includes("urn:pearson:work"))
pm.environment.set("id", jsonData[prop].id);
Here is my code I tried,
var array=[];
var list = this.state.list;
var getList = function(i){
var add = +i + 1;
return {
["value"+add]:{
Description:list[i].Description,
Length:list[i].Length,
Height:list[i].Height,
Weight:list[i].Weight,
VolumeWeight:list[i].VolumeWeight,
ActualWeight:list[i].ActualWeight,
}
}
}.bind(this)
for(var i in list){
array.push(getList(i));
}
var dataArray = array.map(function(e){
return JSON.stringify(e);
});
dataString = dataArray.join(",");
data1 = {
ConsigneeBranchName:this.state.searchText,
ConsigneeBranchCode:this.state.code,
ConsigneeBranchFullAddress:this.state.DAddress,
SenderBranchCode:this.state.code1,
SenderBranchName:this.state.searchTexts,
SenderBranchFullAddress:this.state.Address,
CreatedByEmployeeCode:id,
CreatedByEmployeeFullName:userName,
jsonString:{
JsonValues:{
id:"MyID",
values:dataString
}
}
}
But I want the result is exactly this
var result = {
"ConsigneeBranchName":"",
"ConsigneeBranchCode":"",
"ConsigneeBranchFullAddress":"",
"SenderBranchCode":"",
"SenderBranchName":"",
"SenderBranchFullAddress":"",
"CreatedByEmployeeCode":"",
"CreatedByEmployeeFullName":"",
"jsonString":"{
"JsonValues": {
"id": "MyID",
"values": {
"value1":{
"Description”:"testSmarter1",
"Length”:"60",
"Height”:"50",
"Weight”:"70",
"VolumeWeight”:"75",
"ActualWeight”:”78"
},
"value2:{

"VolumeWeight":"122.4",
"ActualWeight":"123"

Please any one help me
I want the object with dynamic keys within a single object {key1:{des:1,value:as},key2:{des:2,value:aw},key3:{des:3,value:au}}
can you please help me I have tried so many times
see this below image I want this part, inside the single object, I can join multiple objects with dynamic keys
lodash already has a function called keyBy, you can use it to get this functionality. If adding lodash doesn't make sense in your project.
I have implemented a vanilla JS version.
function keyBy(array, mapperFn) {
const resultObj = {};
array.map(item => resultObj[mapperFn(item)] = item);
return resultObj;
}
function arrayToObject (array, keyName = 'id') {
return keyBy(array, function(element) {return element[keyName]});
}
API:
arrayToObject(targetArray, stringNameOfThePorpertyYouWantToUseAsKey);
USAGE:
const listOfUsers = [{name: 'Jenitha', reputation: 6}, {name: 'Chandan', reputation: 3}];
const mapOfUsersByName = arrayToObject(listOfUsers, 'name');
I am bound to the restrictions of my webservice: It expects a json-payload!
So, doing something like
var ajaxAppender = new log4javascript.AjaxAppender("clientLogger");
var jsonLayout = new log4javascript.JsonLayout();
ajaxAppender.setLayout(jsonLayout);
log.addAppender(ajaxAppender);
won't work, as it creates two keys in the forms-collection (data and layout).
How can I, with built-in options, get a json-payload?
I've created a JsonAppender
function JsonAppender(url) {
var isSupported = true;
var successCallback = function(data, textStatus, jqXHR) { return; };
if (!url) {
isSupported = false;
}
this.setSuccessCallback = function(successCallbackParam) {
successCallback = successCallbackParam;
};
this.append = function (loggingEvent) {
if (!isSupported) {
return;
}
$.post(url, {
'logger': loggingEvent.logger.name,
'timestamp': loggingEvent.timeStampInMilliseconds,
'level': loggingEvent.level.name,
'url': window.location.href,
'message': loggingEvent.getCombinedMessages(),
'exception': loggingEvent.getThrowableStrRep()
}, successCallback, 'json');
};
}
JsonAppender.prototype = new log4javascript.Appender();
JsonAppender.prototype.toString = function() {
return 'JsonAppender';
};
log4javascript.JsonAppender = JsonAppender;
used like so
var logger = log4javascript.getLogger('clientLogger');
var jsonAppender = new JsonAppender(url);
logger.addAppender(jsonAppender);
According to log4javascript's change log, with version 1.4.5, there is no longer the need to write a custom appender, if the details sent by Log4Javascript suffice.
1.4.5 (20/2/2013)
- Changed AjaxAppender to send raw data rather than URL-encoded form data when
content-type is not "application/x-www-form-urlencoded"
https://github.com/DECK36/log4javascript/blob/master/changelog.txt
Simply adding the 'Content-Type' header to the AjaxAppender and setting it to 'application/json' is enough
ajaxAppender.addHeader("Content-Type", "application/json;charset=utf-8");
A quick test using fiddler shows that log4javascipt sends a collection of objects. Here's a sample of the payload:
[{
"logger": "myLogger",
"timestamp": 1441881152618,
"level": "DEBUG",
"url": "http://localhost:5117/Test.Html",
"message": "Testing message"
}]
I'am using dojo.data.ItemFileReadStore to query a json file with data. the main purpose is finding translations at Js level.
The Json data has "id" the word and "t" the translation
function translate(word)
{
var json = '/my/language/path/es.json';
var reader = new dojo.data.ItemFileReadStore({
url: json
});
var queryObj = {};
queryObj["id"] = word;
reader.fetch({
query: queryObj,
onComplete: function(items, request){
if (items.length > 0) {
var t = reader.getValue(items[0], 't');
if (dojo.isString(t)) {
return t;
}
}
return word;
},
onError: function(error, request){
return word;
}
});
}
The return value is always a undefined wether there is a translation or not. any ideas?
I tried typecasting with no success.
You can do it like this:
function translate(wordId) {
var translatedWord= wordId;
var store = new dojo.data.ItemFileReadStore({ data: storeData });
store.fetch({ query: { id: wordId },
onItem: function (item) {
translatedWord= (store.getValue(item, 't'));
}
});
return translatedWord;
}
