I tried the code below, it says Error: Cannot find module 'graceful-fs'
$sudo node-gyp rebuild -g --unsafe-perm
I tried downloading graceful-fs, it still gives the same error.
It is an issue with node permissions, try this:
Back up your computer. On the command line, in your home directory, create a directory for global installations:
mkdir ~/.npm-global
Configure npm to use the new directory path:
npm config set prefix '~/.npm-global'
In your preferred text editor, open or create a
~/.profile
file and add this line:
export PATH=~/.npm-global/bin:$PATH
On the command line, update your system variables:
source ~/.profile
To test your new configuration, install a package globally without using sudo

I have the problem, that npm install always fails in my project in my continuous integration system (windows OS) because of the npm library argon2 (https://www.npmjs.com/package/argon2).

I think it is related to the proxy problem, such that the request to GitHub for getting the prebuild binaries does not work.
How can I avoid downloading the prebuild binaries in my continuous integration system? Can I download them locally, commit them to my project somewhere?
The project in the continuous integration system is already connected to an internal npm registry.

the easiest way to install sharp on windows OS is to use the following npm package
which is called windows-build-tools
npm install --global --production windows-build-tools
this as npm says it downloads
installs Visual C++ Build Tools, provided free of charge by Microsoft. These tools are required to compile popular native modules. It will also install Python 2.7, configuring your machine and npm appropriately.

What do I do? I'm following the steps on the page 'https://realm.io/docs/react-native/latest/#getting-started', however when I install Realm on the command Promt I get this error.
