I need to provide a language option (en/de) in just one of my components, currently for the captions in my app we use i18n and it works great, but this it content not captions. I am also aware of the option of lazy loading languages, the thing is that here I want the captions to remain in English but the content to have the option to be in German. What might be a good approach to achieving this?
To be clear, the German content will only be loaded later and it is only relevant for a single component and not the entire app, it also does not apply to captions.
With vue-i18n, you can provide a locale explicitly in your component in german:

You can load both languages, set english as the default language, and explicitly use german in your special component.

I'm developing a Vue app using UI Kit which implies using various custom attributes like uk-grid, uk-icon, uk-navbar etc (in Vue single file components' templates). For each one, IntelliJ gives me a warning like
Warning:(7, 52) Attribute uk-icon is not allowed here
How can I tell IntelliJ not to do this? Googling the warning haven't brought any sane results which makes me think there's no ready-to-use package for this (for this particular UI Kit), so the question is: how to make Idea not to warn about a custom list of attributes? But I'll be glad to be wrong and if there is a better solution, please let me know.
Update: like lena has suggested, pressing alt+enter suggests helpful options, including adding attribute to the list of custom attributes. However, wildcard suggestion didn't work for me: the below screenshot illustrates settings that make v-localize attrbute be recognized, but uk--prefixed attribute are still highlighted with warning:
You can add uk-* attributes to Custom HTML tag attributes list in HTML | Unknown HTML tag attribute inspection; the easiest way to do this is using Add to custom HTML attributes quickfix available on Alt+Enter:
Note that IDEA recognizes Vuikit components and directives out of the box - did you consider using it instead of pure UIKit?
I've started a Microsoft fabric-react, using the Typescript-React-Started provided by Microsoft here.
Although the excellent Fabric-react documentation available here, i wasn't able to find any documentation on how to style the fabric-react components.
For example, the Microsoft documentation for the Commandbar component is available here.
The default theme renders the Commandbar background with a gray color, with blue command buttons.
From what i could understand, Microsoft provides a Themes/Styling system.
Unfortunately, i wasn't able to find any start-to-end example, on how to change the default theme, or create a custom theme.
So, my questions are:
How can i change the default theme, and apply a specific theme on a fabric-react component?
How can i create a custom theme?

Current
Use loadTheme to provide component wide colors and fonts.
Use styles prop for components for one-off tweaks.
If you'd like to provide a standard styles override for a specific component type, you can use Customizer to provide scopedSettings to pipe in standard overrides. (Not this is experimental and will likely change.)
Legacy className / global css support still works, which is to use className to provide your own class overrides, and to reference global class names as needed. Though this is an option, this is is not recommended, as it's very fragile and suffers from numerous issues (selector specificity, no build time validation, easy to break, etc.) We're considering removing the global class names completely in a future major release.

The problems we've recognized
Customizer for providing contextual overrides is too generalized, and doesn't allow us to have theme-specific logic like caching themes.
ITheme should be expanded to allow you to pipe in component-specific overrides, in addition to other site-wide settings like sizing, shadowing, and animations.
Passing in styles is not a good contract; you need to know which component parts to target for the styling (sometimes multiple parts) and sometimes which selectors to override (do i use a pseudo element here? is my selector not specific enough?)
No support for color schemes (think the "dark header", where the Toggle should look different than in the "light content area".
Solutions to shortcomings
Expose a dedicated ThemeProvider component. We will still have loadTheme for providing the default theme, while ThemeProvider can switch out scheme, or even theme in a box.
Add support for color schemes.
Introduce style variables, which abstract the common knobs from full styles definitions. This lets you not worry about parts or selectors, and simply focus abstractly on what the component should look like. We have this experimentally in our Button and Toggle refactors in experiments.
As the title implies, I need solid SEO and thus I need to have all the HTML loaded on my site on initial load. However, because the backend is written in PHP, and because it would be more work to write my Vue components with the server in mind, I don't want to use server-side rendering (SSR).
That leaves me with the option to send HTML over the wire, the "old school" way. What I am thinking of doing is writing each page's HTML like normal, but make one of the root html elements a Vue element in order to "upgrade" it. So the initial load downloads the finalized HTML, with all the data (tables, lists, etc already populated), but then after all the scripts are loaded, javascript can take over to make things easier and give a better UI experience. This poses a few questions, however:
Am I limited to a single component, the root? It'd be nice to still have many sub-components that would each have their own state. Perhaps inline templates can be used somehow?
Vue templates have their own templating system, like the mustache braces for displaying variables {{ myVar }}. Will I not be able to use them? The one way I can think of is to create a Vue template (that can be loaded from an external script) that is identical to the part of the HTML that it "takes over". The downside is that I'd have to maintain that component both in the original HTML and in the vue template.
Are there any good examples of what I'm trying to accomplish here?
Edit: I want to clarify that I'm aware I can put in various components here and there throughout the page. This still poses the question of how to make those components already start out rendered. Better yet would be to turn the whole page into Vue, much like an SPA.

This is not entirely true. Google (80% of search traffic) easily parses SPAs now, so SSR purely for SEO isn't required anymore.
But to answer your question in general, you should check out Laracast's Vue.js series. They go in-depth on how to use PHP with Vue.js (including templating and variables).
I'd ask what it is you want to achieve with Javascript/Vue.js in your page. If everything is already rendered in PHP, does Vue provide a simple UX enhancement or takes over most of the page's heavy lifting (navigation, etc.)? If you have no reactive data and want Vue to simply be a controller for rendered components, then knock yourself out, although it might be approaching an 'overkill' scenario.
Have you looked into Prerender SPA Plugin ( https://github.com/chrisvfritz/prerender-spa-plugin )?
It is offered in the Vue documentation as a viable alternative to server side rendering ( https://v2.vuejs.org/v2/guide/ssr.html#SSR-vs-Prerendering )
Recently I've developed a multi-page application using Vue, here is how i tried to solve the SEO (Maybe this can help you ):
Htmls of header and footer (and other main common components) are packed to the page.html(eg: home.html, search.html).
Script and style are of header and footer imported in page.js(eg: home.js, search.js).
Add div.seo-zone to page.html's div#app, which includes the main SEO data(using some h1,h2,p,div and so on), and add
.seo-zone {
display: none;
}
in your css.
4. Make sure your app's root component's el is '#app'(each page's main content can be a Vue app).
Develop your app as usual.
After Vue rendered, the div.seo-zone will be replaced with your Vue components (although it can not be seen)
We have implemented checkbox in popover. There we are using checked.bind , but in the view model its not reflecting its value on change of the checkboxes.

Programmatically injected HTML needs to be compiled manually
The integration with bootstrap I provided to you earlier cannot do this. The bootstrap plugin assigns the innerHTML property of the popover and it does this outside of aurelia's rendering pipeline. The HTML is therefore not compiled by aurelia, which is why bindings (and other aurelia behaviors) will not work.
The templating framework takes care of this for you automatically as long as you are following conventions (such as custom elements). In any other case you'll need to manually work with the ViewCompiler.
In case you're interested, you can see an example with programmatically generated HTML in this gist. Also see this question if you want to know more about it. I do not recommend it in this scenario however.
Use aurelia-dialog
A tooltip (or popover) is just that: a tip on how to use the tool. It should not need more than some plain markup, text and styling (of course this is subjective to some degree, and some people may disagree)
For collecting user input in-between pages or screens, I'd argue a modal dialog is a better fit because of its property to "pop out" more and to de-emphasize the rest of the screen until the user either proceeds or cancels.
More importantly, by using aurelia-dialog your bindings and behaviors will simply work because, well, it's an aurelia plugin :-)
I was experimenting with Dojo and Dijit in the past days and I find it quite interesting. I was however trying to find a reference or an API doc that helps me understand all the properties I can assign to widgets and containers.
For example a Tab with a Save Icon will be like this:

Now, where can I find what to put in the "data-dojo-props" property? Where can I find for example all the list of icons?
My main question would be for example on how to create a vertical menubar, but beyond odd examples scattered here and there, the api reference is not much helpful...

For this kind of situation, the trick is learning how to convert between the programmatic Javascript style and the declarative HTML style (and sometimes also between the old declarative style, without data).
For the new declarative style, basically the only "real" argument now is data-dojo-props and it consists of an object that will be passed to the widget constructor.

You can find what properties an widget accepts by checking the corresponding widget documentation and looking for either declarative or programmatic examples (now that we know how to convert between them). If that is not enough, you can also check the source code - it is usually very well commented and is where api.dojotoolkit.org gets its data from anyway.
