Make a sidebar that allows to navigate in one page - docusaurus

I would like to know if Docusaurus has the following feature. For example in https://themes.3rdwavemedia.com/demo/prettydocs/start.html, the content of the document is in one page. When we scroll down, we see the change in the sidebar. Whereas in Docusaurus, it seems that we need to click on "Next" to see the next part and the change in the sidebar.
Is it possible to make a sidebar in Docusaurus that allows to navigate in one page?
(I'm new to Docusaurus. I have posted the same question in Discord app, but nobody replied.)

Docusaurus maintainer here. There's no way to achieve this now without reimplementing such logic in your own docs plugin. Why not just write all your docs on a single page? The table of contents on the right will be the same as the left table of contents in the website you linked.

Where does the code for the About page for my shopify site live?

I am trying to simply edit the format (float from left to center and remove two column layout into one column) of my about page on my Shopify site.
I have edited the html of the page directly using chrome dev tools (to confirm what I am doing is going to make the page look like I want it to).
My issue is that Shopify has a specific global section in the admin where you can edit just the content of the about page. Unfortunately, I cannot seem to find anything on that page that allows me to edit the pages code directly.
And when I look at the theme code for the main site, I cannot find any .liquid files that seem to be related to the about page.
Anybody with Shopify coding experience able to point me in the right direction?

Reusable Pentaho dashboard side-bar

I have added a side bar like this one onto a CDE dashboard.
https://bootsnipp.com/snippets/featured/responsive-navigation-menu
Now the sidebar needs to be on every page listed on the menu.
What is the best way to go about this?
I could copy it on every single dash board - it works but it's not great especially if I need to change stg ex-post.
Create an "index" page with the side bar and an iframe to display the "sub" dashboards?
Create a widget (I tried but no success so far)
Custom component?
I think I solved the problem by using jquery load like these guys did.

Alfresco Share site's dashlet for document library

I was wondering whether exists any dashlet which allows you to explore a site's document library. As far as I know doesn't exist such dashlet out of the box, there only exists the "Site Content" dashlet but it is slightly limited.
I have been searching around and "googling" and I found these useful resources that could be useful as a starting point if I had to create my own:
http://ecmarchitect.com/archives/2012/05/08/1592
http://code.google.com/p/fme-alfresco-extensions/wiki/GalleryPlusDashlet2
Do somebody know more dashlets/resources targeting this issue? Any suggestion?
As a temporary solution, I'm also thinking in the possibility of taking advantage of the "Web View" dashlet, by configuring in it such URL that retrieves the documentlist region/component in the documentlibrary page. For example:, share/page/components/documentlibrary/documentlist or share/page/site/{site}/documentlibrary?region=documentlist. Maybe it is crazy or what I'm saying doesn't make any sense, but it is just an idea.
Another idea that have just came to my mind is the option of creating a custom Surf/Share page which includes the component/webscript that implements the explorer of the document library, specifically the documentlist component. Then configure the "Web View" dashlet giving the URL that points to the custom page created. Would it make sense?
Thanks in advance.
You are going to see a couple of site visualization and navigation dashlets on Alfresco Visualization Tools available on https://github.com/bhagyas/alfresco-visualization-tools. The project is still at it's initial phase, but you will find interesting snippets of code used to retrieve the document library content trees within the dashlets.
The project was presented by me at Alfresco DevCon in Berlin just a week ago to bring interactive navigation and content analytics. If interested, you can find the slides at the lightening talk slides in the DevCon 2012 site at Alfresco.
Cheers! =)
Hi I've done exactly the same, it was not really needed for a Dashlet but for to embed the documentlibrary of a site in an iframe for another site.
So what I did was indeed create a new page template embedded-documentlibrary.
I've copied first the following files and renamed them:
site-data/pages/documentlibrary.xml
site-data/template-instances/documentlibrary.xml
site-webscripts/org/alfresco/documentlibrary.ftl
If you rename file 3 or put it in another folder, you need to check the paths in file 1 & 2.
So to make only the documentlibrary appear instead of everyting I just removed everything in file 3 within the <div id="alf-hd"> tag.
If you remove the tag, the document-tree will also be removed and it gave some javascript errors. This should be fixed in the latest version, but haven't tied that.
So it's extremely easy to create your own page and instead of navigating to site/documentlibrary you just navigate to site/embedded-documentlibrary or your own name you've chosen.
And yes then you'll need to use the web-view Dashlet to show it.
The only thing you need to know is, that the links open within the iframe. So if you use the web-view Dashlet, you need to open the links in a new window.
For my situation I needed an iframe, in your case you could also just let the freemarker from your Dashlet render the components needed.
There is a document-liberary-display dashlet available in the alfresco add-on list which can be used to show all the documents from document-library on site-dashlet.

How to build persistent element like facebook chatbar which not reload when navigate to any page?

i developed a radio stations widget (see it at my site). the problem is, i dont know how to make it persistent same like on the http://josephbeeson.com/gwapdemo/gwap.html . it's like facebook chatbar which not reload when navigate to any page. i have try n look for the demo codes but still not understand. please give step by step tutorial. i want to implement it on my social website http://www.heypy.com.
The whole page does not get reloaded, the new content is just loaded via AJAX and displayed within the current document.
To make it look to the user like he’s navigated to some other URL, the address bar content is updated using the HTML5 History API.
please give step by step tutorial.
Happy to give you the relevant keywords, so you can do research on them yourself. But won’t provide a private tutorial here, that’s not the purpose of this site. Thanks for your understanding.

How Do I Intercept Banner in WordPress?

My client wants me to make a plugin that intercepts the banner on a WordPress blog so that the existing one displays, but right beneath it, above the content and the sidebar, another banner appears. And he needs it such that it works in most themes and isn't theme-specific.
I found I could use add_action('loop_start','interceptMe') to put something at the top before posts or a single post, but it still left the sidebar on the right. I have tried using add_action('all','test') to dump out different intercepts to see if I could figure this out, but I just can't seem to get it yet. I'm thinking I may have to intercept all esc_html calls and contextually inspect that until I find one used for the banner.
Does anyone know how to intercept the banner to add another one right beneath it?
This is going to be very challenging to do. There's no consistent structure, HTML, or CSS IDs that would allow you to do cross-theme injection like this (hell, some themes don't have a header image). You will likely need to make manual changes to each theme for this.
I suppose you might insert some JavaScript that looks for an H1 tag and inserts your banner right after it. Ceejayoz is right though -- there's not consistency to different themes. One theme might use H1 for the site header and another for a Post title.
